After several months of doing most of the work ourselves we were exhausted and faced with an impossible deadline. I went out on a limb and tried craigslist and found Travis aka "Honest Work." I had no idea what to expect because we had a few bad experiences with other people found on CL. BUT, WOW. Travis is AMAZING! We would have DIED without him! He is just awesome!!! He knows how to do pretty much everything and is well connected to other tradesmen whom he happily referred us to here and there if he was too busy when our timelines were tight - all the guys he referred to us were reliable, honest and pleasant to have around. Oh and did I mention, Travis and the others he recommended were all REASONABLY priced. Work was done right and on time! If anything needed touch up after it was finished Travis fixed it. Plus, he shows when he says he'll show and he is also willing to work alongside the homeowner which almost all the other contractors that gave us their ridiculously high bids were not willing to do. Couldn't have been happier! Highly recommend.

We had…read moretaken a very long time to choose all aspects of these rooms and once we were ready to go Milt helped us meet the challenge. We changed an old tub for a wonderful upgrade, expanded the shower area, with high-end glass, added excellent tile work throughout (he has a great tile guy), changed counter-tops, and even moved a wall of 50 year old cedar panels to extend an existing wall. Were there hiccups along the way, sure. But now, several years later we are thrilled to use these rooms every day. We work at home and the lifestyle enhancement has been profound. Truth be told we did a good deal of research before and chose well with our components and visual choices. The paint work was superb (he has a great paint team too). The team had an amusing cast of characters and I enjoyed them. They took tremendous care to keep the spaces (bedroom next to the bath) absolutely clean and protected. It took a while with delays and fixes but now all I can say is we really appreciate all the effort that went in and Milt's good spirit to get it right. If you want a successful project like we experienced i'd say you might need to be an engaged partner in the process, that's what I did and the results speak for themselves.

They've mowed, weed whacked, and raked my lawn, so I'm no longer the 'bad neighbor'.
