Hear me know friends-believe the hype and good vibes dropped by previous sweet citizens who stopped in for their auto needs. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly and depending on the crowd you can get in and out super quick. My total time in the shop had to be less than 40 minutes, and I enjoyed some friendly banter with the shop owner and a Crane Operator from AL who was getting his truck taken care of in the other bay. Fast Forward a couple of days I I heard some rattling from the undercarriage. I stopped back by and the guys took care of a heat shield that had come lose. A quick spot weld and I was on my way-no charge! These guys are great, you won't be disappointed. I recommend them fully.

He has the sophisticated diagnostic equipment to identify the problem and the advanced mechanical expertise to fix it. However, he is expensive and adds some gratuitous fees. Cost for 2-hour diagnostic assessment to identify faulty crankshaft sensor was $133.90/hr x 2 = $267.80 plus $50 service charge for total of $317.80 ($348.79 with tax). Cost for installation of new crankshaft sensor was $58.81 for the sensor, $130.00 for 1 hour of labor plus another $50 service charge for total of $238.81 ($262.09 with tax). I offered to pay with cash. Roberts said he preferred a credit card. However, he did not tell me there was a $31.96 "noncash adjustment/credit card fee.". There was also a $22.86 fee for mobile supplies. Altogether, the cost for diagnosis of faulty crankshaft sensor and replacement with a new one was $671.01. In addition to parts and labor, this included two $50 service charges, a $31.96 "noncash adjustment/credit card fee", a $22.86 mobile supplies fee and tax on the extra charges and fees. Since the final billing amount included 9.75% tax, the credit should have been for $54.88. I did check the "terms and conditions " on your website again to be sure that I hadn't overlooked anything. According to your website, you charge $130.00/hr for diagnostics. However, I was charged $133.90/hr. The amount of overcharge was $7.80 for two hours plus 0.76 tax = $8.56. Your website says nothing about a charge of $22.86 for mobile supplies that was added to my bill. Including tax, the amount of overcharge was $22.86 + $2.23 = $25.09. Your website also says nothing about a 5% "noncash adjustment / credit card fee" for paying with a credit card in lieu of cash. Including tax, the amount of overcharge was $31.96 + $3.12 = $35.08. So, the total outstanding overcharges are $4.88 + $8.56 + $25.09 + $35.08 = $73.61. By the way, I don't happen to think these oversights were intentional on your end. Rather, the software that you're using for billing appears to be much lower in quality than the sophisticated diagnostic software that you use to identify mechanical problems in motor vehicles. Having just moved to Nashville, I was looking for a trusted mechanic to keep my 2003 Audi Cabriolet alive and well. In LA, I had a mechanic for years who was always clear about what truly needed to be done now, what could wait, and what wasn't worth spending money on yet. That trust meant I almost always approved his recommendations. Eurwerks seemed like the kind of place where I could build that same relationship. They're family-owned, specialize in European cars, and had excellent reviews. Unfortunately, the experience felt much more business-first than customer-first. Before the appointment, I was told diagnosis would be around $200. After waiting weeks, dropping off the car, and getting into a Lyft home, I learned within minutes that it would actually be roughly double. The final diagnostic cost was $436.81 with no repair work performed. The next day, I received more than $10,000 in recommended repairs. An older Audi needs maintenance. That was never the issue. What bothered me was feeling like nearly everything became another charge. A small example: dirty air filters were inspected and photographed, then put back together and quoted as additional repairs. I eventually replaced those myself. After paying more than $400 just for diagnosis, that kind of thing made the experience feel transactional rather than relationship-driven. On top of that, there were two Lyft rides, lost time, and a significant amount of research on my part just to understand the recommendations. In the end, I decided I needed a second opinion before spending that kind of money. The other shop did not charge for the inspection and came back with a much narrower and more reasonable recommendation. They also identified four new tires as a key need related to the driving issue I had originally described. To be fair, speaking directly with the technician was the strongest part of the Eurwerks experience. I was able to ask questions about why certain repairs were recommended and what could wait, and I do believe the technicians know these cars and likely do good work. The customer management and billing side is where the experience broke down for me. I felt pressured to make decisions before I had enough time to understand a $10,000+ repair recommendation, and at one point the customer-service side stepped in because the conversation with the technician was taking too long. For a decision that large, that did not feel customer-first. Specialty European repair is expensive. I understand that. What I was looking for was transparency, fair value, and a shop that felt interested in earning a long-term customer. Unfortunately, Eurwerks did not earn my trust, and I won't return.

The "waiting room," if you want to call it that, is an old car bench seat in the office, and you might have to share that with the resident dog. Their location isn't high traffic or convenient. It's out of town, next to a rock quarry and where they park the school buses in Franklin. They don't do any fancy ads or claim any special promos, and if you need a shuttle - you might have to arrange that in conjunction with school schedules and who is doing the lunch run. But if you want a trustworthy mechanic, who earns a fair and honest living for himself and his employees, but isn't driving a big fancy car and living in a McMansion, then this is your place. Hubby and I have had work done on each of our cars over the years, and I've referred several local friends over the years, and have never been disappointed.
