My car doesn't have a spare. I needed a flat bed to get it to a tire store. Contacted AAA and they dispatched Lansing Towing & Recovery. Ed (who is amazing) arrived in 10 minutes. I was still on the phone calling tire places to find one that carried the size tire I needed. Apparently my tire size is odd. It took me much longer to find a place to tow it to than it took for Ed to arrive. He waiting patiently and was very helpful in identifying a tire store. He loaded my car. He as extremely careful. Super friendly. I rode in the truck with him to Discount Tire and he unloaded my car. 5-star review for Discount Tire too. The whole thing was done and I was back on the road in less than an hour. Amazing, fast and super-friendly service. By far the best experience I ever had with AAA, for sure. If it ever happened again (not that I drive through Lansing that often), I'd just reach out to Lansing Towing & Recovery directly. I put their business car in my glove compartment for future reference. I called AAA at 4:19 the said i had to wait 2hrs before anyone could come back. I had to leave work to get there to my already broke down car. Then wait in the cold in the dark in November in Michigan. Their customer service is awful. Save your money. I mentioned a few issues I had in addition to the main problem - wipers quit working. They looked my car over and found the problems, providing me with details and what could be fixed now and what could wait. They provided me details, cost, etc. and kept me apprised of progress. Additionally, they provided me a loaner car. This was a godsend as I was going to daily radiation therapy for cancer. I was so pleased with their care, I also asked them to give me an oil change as I knew it would be needed soon. I feel the cost of the work was very fair and will have the continue with the other things we found and put on hold. Great business!

When finalizing my Towing Service that I had chosen Which was Northside Towing I received a call from Northside Towing letting me know that another Tow Service had picked up my vehicle without my consent!!!!! Don whom works for Todd's Towing care advised me that he was going to drop off my vehicle at his own repair shop on the corner of Grand River Ave and Capital Ave in Lansing which I had NO interest nor intention of having this happen Nor did I even know Don whom had my vehicle on his Flat Bed!!!! Don then advised me I had taken up enough of his time I needed to make a payment for my vehicle tow and my vehicle needed to be removed off his flatbed or he was going to be taking it next to the local IMPOUND!!! I have never been so unhappy, humiliated and been thru this ridiculous unprofessional customer service in my life !!!! I was horrified the fact that I was being treated so horribly ever and was threatened of having my vehicle impounded next!
