I came to Bobos looking for clip in extensions. The young lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. She helped me decide on a style and brand and showed me several different options. I ended up getting the hair and clips to make my own. That was the most cost effective things for me to do since I won't be wearing these much. A HUGE CON is that the prices here are marked up for other hair care products such as shea moisture. SHOP AT TARGET for hair products, not here. See attached picture so you can compare prices. I came in looking for a wig for the first time and the lady at the wig counter was no help at all. She instantly took me to the wigs with bangs, which I found weird as I didn't mention anything about needing one with bangs, then left me by myself. Every question I asked was met with the most vague answer possible. I've never worn a lace front before and when I asked her how to wear one, she told me to look it up on youtube. I'm a beginner, I expected her to be a little more informative or show me a few helpful items and I got nothing. I guess don't go there unless you already know how to wear a wig and know what you want. I went to their other location on foothill in Rancho Cucamonga and the lady there was great. She showed me different wigs, the hair gripper headband, and even explained about the difference with human hair wigs. I'm going back there to get what I need. read more

I went to the store a few min before it closed, the door was already closed, I opened the door and asked the owner if I could come in, I just needed to grab one thing, and I knew where it was. He said no, we're closed and shut the door it my face. It was not even 7:30 yet. Now I do I understand you want to go home and the end of a work day. However there is a way that you treat people, and it should be respectful every time. And if you don't want to work until 7:30, then close the shop at 7:00pm. Bad service, is bad business. I have shopped here for years now and generally the other cashiers are nice. This is my first time dealing with the owner and it will be my last time. My money can be spent elsewhere. Shopping online you can buy all the same items for much cheaper, I shop local to support businesses in my community. I will not spend my money where I am treated poorly. This place advertises that they sell real 100% authentic hair and so I bought and took for my hair trial. I watched my hair girl curl the hair and it burned; pieces fell to the floor and it looked like thread. I took the hair back to ultimately be told they would give me 30% off WHEN I BUY MORE. The amount of money these people are bringing in is nothing in comparison to what I spent. I wasn't even asking for money back I just wanted another package of hair; give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe chalk it up to it being a bad batch. Nope. They said nothing they could do. This company BOBOS Beauty Supply , located at 5440 Moreno St. in Montclair, CA will not allow you to return items, even when the item has never been opened or damaged in any way, and with a receipt. They are "MONEY HUNGRY". They would rather lose my business over $30.00, even though I spend lots of money with them on a weekly basis. Yes, they have a large beauty supply, but if possible, shop somewhere else. They are not worth the headache. Geeze! Really disappointed in their return and exchange policy. They do have signs posted from what the manager said that all sales are final for hair products. I bought products less than 24 hours ago and they were recommended by a store employee... unfortunately my hair was not happy with these products!! I dropped over $100 on hair products and would have at least like to have been given an opportunity to exchange them for something else. I want to remind you their hair products are not cheap and I only bought 4 products. I didn't want a refund just an opportunity to find something that I knew worked. So glad they moved to a much larger location closer to Montclair Mall. The employees are professional, courteous and do their absolute best to help the customers. They have a huge selection of hair for braiding, weaving , crocheting. There is a vast array of wigs, styles, color and the accessories to personalize your fit. They will cut the lace front off AT NO CHARGE unlike a shop where I was told it was $10 to cut in addition to $300.00 for the cost of the wig. My friend has been raving about her hair extensions and I wanted to check it out. I have very thin and fine hair. As I grow older, I felt like I was losing more hair and it concerns me when I'm only in my mid 30s. A solution is to either curl my hair for a fuller illusion. But that takes about 30 mins for a full curl. Another quick and easy is to clip on hair extensions. I always wanted hair extensions but was always concern if I will be able to match my hair color and thickness. My friend has been talking about her hair extensions for almost a year already. She continues to wear her extensions all the time and it has convinced me that I should get one myself! I was worry if I will be able to find the right color since I have balayage and my hair will fade into different colors. I amazed to see so many different color selections and was so glad I found the perfect match. The sales lady was very knowledgable and helpful! She looked at my hair and immediately found the right color in a few mins. I decided to buy the 16 inch for $150. They also were giving away $10 coupons if you spend $50 or more!! I have wore them a couple of times and was so impressed that they felt so comfortable and gave me the confidence of a model!! I am so happy with them and I do feel like a different person now. I can also curl the hair and it stays curl as long as I use hairspray before and after the curls. The material of this hair is amazingly too. Super soft and fine just like my hair. They are also not high maintenance to take care. You don't have to wash them too often and they feel like new after you wash them!! I am so happy with the hair extension.
