Tried the Generous Pour wine tasting and dinner pairing and it was FABULOUS!!!! 10/10 definitely recommend, particularly the first course...OMG!!!!

Lots of the menu was pre-selected, and everything was really good. Bread box had a great selection of bread options, including a really good hard flatbread thing. Appetizers were calamari and prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella, which were both tasty, as well as the salad starter. Good wine choice for dinner too, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. For dinner, I chose the dry-aged strip, which was perfectly cooked. The server was also great about telling everyone ordering how their chosen way of cooking would turn out (e.g., warm w/ red center for medium rare), and it was all spot on. We had mashed potatoes and asparagus as sides too, both also really good. I wasn't able to finish it there, so I took the rest back, which the servers packed for me - wow. Definitely a good spot, and would definitely opt in if there's another chance to go!

I'll start off by saying that I truly want to give them a 3 1/2 star review, but since we know that…read morecan't happen I have to go with 3 stars because it wasn't close enough to a 4 star review. People love this place ... I say that because we were there late afternoon during the week and it was busy ... and it kept getting busier. I do understand why folks love it tho, because there's no other real seafood "shack" in the area specifically where folks can get their blue claw crabs. It truly does look and feel like a seafood shack because the wooden walls, brown paper on the table, paper towels on the table and overall decor scream "We are at the beach in a small southern town in the middle of nowhere where" lol Our server was great! She was very attentive and made recommendations... she was also very patient with us given that this was our first time here and we're a bit undecided on what we wanted to order. Now on to the food - this is honestly where I was underwhelmed. The broiled seafood had a whisper of flavor, the crab cake left a lot to be desired and the garlic buffalo shrimp were overwhelmingly buffalo sauce on top of fried shrimp. Now the clam chowder I had was amazing and I even ordered some to go. My friend enjoyed her crab legs meal overall and perhaps if we visit again that's the route I'll go. Oh and it's also a BYOB , so, be sure to grab your favorite bottle and bring it on in.

The sauce was amazing! I love fried mushrooms and not too many restaurants still have them so they were a perfect side for me, the mashed potatoes were good just needed to be added to the butter garlic for an amazing taste. Definitely a must go to restaurant. Seating was kind of tight being directly at the door but all in all an amazing experience

I honestly had a really good experience at Seven Seas Mediterranean Seafood Restaurant. The vibe…read morewas chill and welcoming as soon as I walked in, nothing too fancy but still really nice and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and checked in just enough without being annoying. The food was the best part for sure. Everything tasted fresh and actually well-seasoned, especially the seafood. You can tell it's not just thrown together--it had that real Mediterranean flavor. The portions were good too, I definitely left full. There's also a nice variety on the menu, so it's easy to find something you'll like. Overall, it's a really solid spot. If you're into seafood or just want something different with good flavor, I'd definitely recommend it. I'd go back for sure.

We were looking to try a different restaurant this weekend, and decided to try Seven Seas…read more We started with a yummy roasted eggplant remoulade with tomato. I put it on the fresh pita and it was an excellent starter. We ordered the Caesar Salad - it was very good - fresh, green leafy lettuce - crispy croutons, a sprinkling of grated cheese, and a delicious dressing. Next up, the Crab Bisque. I lived in Maryland for 30 years and had crab bisque many, many times. This was the first crab bisque that wasn't tomato based - it was a brownish, creamy version. It was more like chowder - although when I looked up 'bisque', it most certainly can be creamy. I might have been fine with the 'creamy version', but it lacked any crab flavor and had no crab in it - not one shred. I've never had any fish soup that had no fish in it. I took a few spoonfuls and left it. My partner tried it and came to the same conclusion. The entrees came next - I got the Seared Branzino and my partner got the Shrimp and Scallops. The Seared Branzino was okay - there were bites where I had a very fishy taste - and it was a very small piece of fish. My partner's Shrimp and Scallops came with steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. The Scallops were tender and cooked perfectly - they were in a delicious sauce and had a very nice sear. However, the Shrimp were tough and chewy - we were both very surprised to have one item (scallops) so good, and another (shrimp) on the same plate, that was so bad. The steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes were very good. While our Caesar salad, Scallops and side dishes were very good, the rest of the meal was lacking.
