For dinner, I chose the dry-aged strip, which was perfectly cooked. The server was also great about telling everyone ordering how their chosen way of cooking would turn out (e.g., warm w/ red center for medium rare), and it was all spot on. We had mashed potatoes and asparagus as sides too, both also really good. I wasn't able to finish it there, so I took the rest back, which the servers packed for me - wow. Using cured lemon was a very clever idea as the sauce was not too strong but still had depth; the saffron and turmeric were well balanced. The fish itself was NOT overcooked and flaked perfectly. The vegetables were also executed well and cooked so they could be eaten with the same bite. The star of the show was still the cook on the fish with the wonderful sauce. The sever gave us some Moroccan mint tea which was also wonderful. We will be making the drive from the Maine Line to just to dine here again.

I lived in Maryland for 30 years and had crab bisque many, many times. This was the first crab bisque that wasn't tomato based - it was a brownish, creamy version. It was more like chowder - although when I looked up 'bisque', it most certainly can be creamy. I might have been fine with the 'creamy version', but it lacked any crab flavor and had no crab in it - not one shred. I've never had any fish soup that had no fish in it. I took a few spoonfuls and left it. My partner tried it and came to the same conclusion. The entrees came next - I got the Seared Branzino and my partner got the Shrimp and Scallops. The Seared Branzino was okay - there were bites where I had a very fishy taste - and it was a very small piece of fish. My partner's Shrimp and Scallops came with steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. The Scallops were tender and cooked perfectly - they were in a delicious sauce and had a very nice sear. However, the Shrimp were tough and chewy - we were both very surprised to have one item (scallops) so good, and another (shrimp) on the same plate, that was so bad. The menu looked both Thai and Japanese, with larger plates and smaller snacks. We chose Steak Hibachi with Noodles and Curry Puff Chicken as an appetizer. Both were very good. The puffs were with a mild yellow curry and ample chicken wrapped in a deep fried dough, and came with a sweet/hot dipping sauce. There were four to an order, and enough to fill me for several hours. The hibachi was small pieces of decent steak, veggies, medium Thai spicy over very tasty noodles. Rice was an available option. We found both dishes very much to our liking. Service from the friendly, accommodating truck owners was all we wanted, and they were responsive to our questions and clearly aiming to please. The pink package van outfitted with complete kitchen, had cherry blossoms painted all around and two red paper Chinese lanterns hanging above the window. Perfect for this Age of Barbie.
