Love this place! They have an awesome spot in the mashpee commons. The prices are reasonable. The lobster mac and cheese is the best. This place never disappoints me! read more

Love the atmosphere, service, location, menu and good. We had the fish and chips special, burrito, and the chicken salad sandwiches. All were delicious. Love the local beer selection - had Wachusetts blueberry which they normally serve with fresh blueberries but they did not have any at this time. The beer was bottled but still delicious. Love the friendly bartender staff and waitresses. Always a welcoming feel to this place. Highly recommend. read more

Staff was friendly & attentive. We only had appetizers & drinks, played a little keno & watched the Red Sox. Last visit we had lunch & was average pub food. Not bad, good pub atmosphere, comfy. read more

Terrific food, great prices, great outdoor bar. What summer on Cape Cod is all about!

A convenient spot when shopping in the commons...good for both lunch and dinner. Staff is friendly, service is quick and food is good..portions are pretty large too! The salads are delicious and super filling read more

Been here several times found the food to be excellent and the bar staff to be very friendly . They even know how to pour the Guiness right. The crowd there is allways nice, thou it's funny to see jersy shore rejects showing up there. Will be going back to this place a lot ,have nothing to bad to say about this place. Slainte read more

My family's new favorite place is Bobby Byrne's. I've been a few times before and suggested to them that they try it out and now they tend to opt to come here when asked where they want to go. The nachos are the best around. Oh and their lobster mac and cheese----yummmmmm read more

The wing-dings are awesome. Everything else is not so awesome. Don't bother getting the fajitas or fish tacos. It helps to know what a taco and fajita are before putting them on your menu. Stick with the basics here, like beer. read more

Good food in casual atmosphere. This place is a staple in Mashpee. Good place for family, good size portions and reasonable prices. Bar is good place to watch a sporting event. read more

Don't ask for lobster here, whatever you do. We made that mistake and were told rudely that it was not on the menu - except once in a while in the summer for a special or maybe part of a weekend. But it was summer and we wanted to know when Cape Cod's most famous offering might be offered here. Who knows? Before we could ask again, the manager was off with her Windex bottle spraying every bit of glass she could find - including services in the food service area. Barnstable Public Health Dept - where are you? read more

Do you ever feel sorry for the wait service when they serve bad food? Well, this is certainly a place that you'll get that feeling. We ordered mussels and fried calamari. How exactly do you mess up mussels? They tasted like swamp clams. The calamari was just bad (under fried and covered in salt) read more

Drinks and drink options are weak. Food is OK, get the Nacho platter (superb) for 11$ and that is a meal in itself.

I was visiting in Mashpee today and was hungry. The problem is I'm Gluten Free. I went through the door and asked the hostess if they had anything that was gluten free. She looked at me like I just sprouted wings and treated me like I had the plague. She handed me a menu and told me to look in it. I said do you know if they know about Gluten Free and with that she practically grabbed the menu out of my hands and told me "NO". This girl had horrible customer service and I wouldn't eat there now if you paid me. Being a hostess means you have to know about food allergies no matter what type of restaurant you are in. Do yourself a favor and eat in the pizza place across the street, Wicked (something) has a whole Gluten Free menu. read more

Great portion size for the money. Bartenders and wait-staff are very friendly. I have never been disappointed.

Bobbies is almost always crowded so be aware of that. However the food is good and the prices are alright. The bar staff is great

Went for a bite to eat after I got out of work. Food was decent. Service/Management was disappointing.

Decent drinks, apps were pretty good. Dinner sucked, got a lobster roll and it was honestly like getting one from D'Angelo's. Noone else in my party was impressed by what they got. I'd go back to drink at the bar, wouldn't order dinner there again. read more

Jeffrey M. and Mike M. are probably husband and wife with Mikey trying to save hubby's job. Great manager posting only positive reviews and ignoring the numerous negative reviews on this site. Booby Byrnes is in good hands, probably not. Oh and Mikey better stop drinking all those soda refills. I think they're making him daffy. read more

Finally a good pour on the wine. Everyone seems to nudge the 6 oz line. This was very generous. We live on the Cape and have been all over. We like pubs. We always come back to Bobby Byrnes read more

Ok - service was good and everything was reasonably priced. The chicken in my Caesar salad was not very flavorful, but the broccoli slaw side with my wife's sandwich was quite tasty. My impression is things are hit or miss here. read more

Currently sitting at the outside bar with 3 others and Tim the bartender has made our night. He was so friendly from the start and has participated in all of the shenanigans we've put him through (I.e singing with us, listening to our jokes) and has smiled and continued to do his job well, still serving everyone's drinks quickly. We will come back JUST to be served by Tim. The atmosphere he has created with the entire bar has us all feeling like family. read more

On July 10, 2016 approximately 5:30 pm, I went to this restaurant with my family including my 85 year old mother. We asked for a table for 5 in a warm area. It was a cold damp day, 67 degrees, but they still had outdoor seating and had the door open. hostess #1 told us it was very warm in the upper level away from the door and told us she would set a table for us and asked us to wait. A party of 6 then arrived and spoke with hostess #2. Hostess #2 went and spoke with hostess #1 and was told to give the table she was setting up for us to the party of 6 and sat them before us. Then Hostess #2 took us to a table directly in front of the open door. When I asked what happened to the table Hostess #1 was setting for us, she would not even acknowledge my question. When we refused the table we were told rudely to go back to the waiting area as "she couldn't have people standing in the middle of the dining room." I reminded hostess #1 of our conversation about a table away from the open door, she would only reply that they would go and set up another table in the upper level. I told Hostess #1 how horrible we were being treated, that she wouldn't acknowledge giving our table away to the other family and that she was being so rude. Her response was " I am not being rude at all." She then sat us at a table for 4 with a chair moved over to the end of a very small table, directly in front of the kitchen and wait staff work station. All the while, there were numerous empty tables in the upper level. After being treated so horribly, we decided to leave. A blonde woman approached me and introduced herself as the manager. She asked why we were leaving. I explained our experience. Her only response was that there were other tables available on the upper level if we wanted a different table. She never acknowledged that both her hostesses were rude to us and treated us horribly. No apologies, nothing. Needless to say, we won't be back! I wanted give 0 stars, but it wouldn't post without a selection. read more

Great lunch specials today! We had the fried shrimp and cod platter. Delicious! The cole slaw was just the way I like it- crunchy cabbage, light on the mayo. Huge mound of yummy fries that I finally forced myself to stop eating. Good draft beer selection. Minus one star because the service was a little slow and our table was near some flowers that were attractive to the bees. Nice breeze while dining out on the patio. read more

I am giving them a 1 because I have to give a star. This place is completely incapable of serving an allergy. I told the waitress I had a shellfish allergy and confirmed I could not have any fried food (which is often in the case for me in restaurants). I ordered a southwest salad and French onion soup. Clam chowder was placed in front of me which someone at my table had ordered. This made me question if they understood my allergy. It was passed to the person in my party who had ordered this. Then I ate the French onion soup concerned it wasn't really okay for me to have. I then get my salad which had tortilla chips. I thought these might be fried. So I asked my waitress and she took my dish away. I SHOULDN'T have been served it. I was extremely anxious at this point. I told them about my allergy and they agreed to tell the kitchen. At this point, my life is in the server and kitchens hand to carry through. You can agree not to serve me, but when you do agree I EXPECT you to do your due diligence that my life is safe. I then talked to the manager who told me she didn't know and that I should only eat food brought out by her. Well how was I suppose to know that? I write this because education needs to happen, staff need to know from the kitchen to manager to the waiters and waitresses. This is not okay and for the safety of others I write this review. read more

Gotta say I was greatly disappointed today when attempting to place a lunch order for our office which we have done once a month for about 5 years. We were told they wouldn't take our order because it was too large, for 7 people???? Yes, too large! Duh; thought they were in business to do business. Guess Customer service has gone out the window! They finally and reluctantly accepted our order but had it all fouled up! Last time we order lunch from them, apparently they only want the seasonal business. read more

I recently moved back home after a year in Ohio. This was always my favourite place to go and I am absolutely shocked at how much it could have changed in such a short time. All of my favourite bartenders are gone. Apparently 6 of them quit at the same time. The ones left over are miserable and slow. The food is horrendous. Cold fries, soggy bread and I had to wait 45 minutes for it. This was my third time back, hoping it was an off night the other times. This will be my last time. Sad to see what used to be a fun laid back pub with good grub turn into such a lousy place. I can see why all the employees left when they did. I honestly have never yelped before, but am so disappointed in this place I had to. read more

We went here last night after visiting Mashpee commons. Staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic. I had the spinach and shrimp salad which was the best salad I have ever had. Reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit. read more

My girlfriend and I were extremely disappointed with this restaurant during our visit. We came in to order their "complete meal Tuesday" special and found the quality to be that of a frozen meal. I had the Turkey dinner and my girlfriend had the Salisbury steak. My Turkey tasted like a frozen meal and to say that of the Salisbury steak is an insult to hamburger helper. We also put in an order for an appetizer that never came out. When we asked, the waitress she said she put it on hold and forgot to put it through even though we asked for it to be made as soon as possible. The table near us had small children who ordered cheeseburgers that came out burnt on the outside and pink inside. The waitress asked if they'd like it remade but the family had been waiting so long they didn't want to wait any longer so the parents shared their meals with the children. When it came to desert we didnt know if we'd like it so asked if it could be substituted for something cheaper and the waitress said no. We tried it anyway and it was just nasty. Won't be visiting any of their locations any time soon. read more

great choices on the menu. love the big salads, staff is fun to joke with, great place to watch the Red Sox's or the Patriots.
