I have mixed feelings about this Bobbi Brown store. My first visit was great; the makeup artist(?) was very helpful in finding the right color of lip gloss and a mascara I was looking for. She showed me different products by trying them out on me. However, when I went there for the second time, it was an unpleasant experience. I wanted to get a foundation or bb cream. First, no one seemed to be interested in assisting me. When I finally asked, a lady showed me the different items. I asked basic questions about the difference between bb cream and tinted moisturizer, but she could not give me an answer. It felt more like she didn't want to answer. Not knowing exactly what I was getting, I decided to get a sample, which she gave to me. Later I asked about the liquid foundation, and this is what she said "that's not for you..." When I looked at her, she said, "that's for the people who have no texture in their skin... Like this photo". She was pointing at Katie Holmes photo. I thought,' what! I know I do not have a clean skin texture like Katie Holmes, but that's kinda rude.' Well, she didn't elaborate on what will be a good product for me or anything, so I decided to leave the store, feeling unwelcomed and uninformed. read more
