If you're indecisive, like me, then even better because Stonehouse Teas is the only place in Campbell River that offers BBT. The shop has a large selection of loose leaf tea, tea ware and tea accessories (ranging from tea infusers to tea cozies). They have everything (and more) to make a perfect cup of tea. They also offer a selection of freshly baked pastries. Their BBT selection is also huge! I opted for the strawberry slush with pearls. Coming from a place where bubble tea is widely available (ie. Vancouver), my high expectations for BBT in a small city (ie. Campbell River) seem a little unfair. I'd have to say the the pearls were disappointing; they weren't soft and chewy. It's the same pearls that I'd get if I saved my BBT overnight in the fridge. The slush itself was good though. A for effort and I was happy that I was able to find BBT in Campbell River! I have faith that their BBT will improve! Until then, I probably wouldn't get BBT unless I was really craving for it. We just came back from a truly delicious meal at Rhythm restaurant…read more We tried eating there once about 4 years ago: the interior of the restaurant was very dark, it looked and felt stark and not very inviting at that visit, food wasn't that good. Maybe the owner and the chef changed since then. Our trusted food, especially Asian, source told us that the food is good there. We have tried a couple deliveries from Rhythm Restaurant, and the most of the dishes that we have ordered were good. So we decided to eat there tonight. The restaurant looked brighter, more cosy and inviting. The servers, a couple young Asian women were very kind and attentive. We ordered pan fried dumplings, beef noodle soup, green onion pancakes, and sautéed mixed vegetables with tofu. First came the mixed vege with tofu. It was fresh, beautiful to look at, and delicious. Tofu was house deep fried to crisp which mixed very well with sweet cabbage and other Veges, sauce clear and beautiful flavor. So well cooked. Then came the beef noodle soup; the noodle had a great chewiness, which made me think of a home made noodle - it was made at the restaurant according to a server - broth delicious and hot, the rich flavor of beef broth nicely countered by some vinegar. Many tender slices of the beef and sweet cabbages. We enjoyed it till the last drop. Then came the pan fried dumplings; homemade skin, not queasy at all, good filling and the sauce. We asked for the hot sauce which gave a nice kick to the delicious dumplings. The last dish was green onion pancakes, ample of them it was delicious, but we brought most of them home because we were happily full. In recent time we had delivery of chicken with scallion oil, shanxi cold noodle, beef & soy sauce fried flat noodle, they were all excellent. We are delighted that now we have a favorite Chinese restaurant so close to home, and look forward to further dishes. All the dishes that I mentioned taste authentic and good care goes into this chef's cooking. The dishes we were not crazy about were Har Kau and sticky rice wrap, basically some dim sums. I would like to give them a try again to see if it was a one time thing. So thrilled to say that we do have an authentic Chinese restaurant. Thank you Mr. Han!
