Crepes came out with the wrong filling and they were room temperature and the sausage patties were severely over cooked and room temperature as well. The pot roast was room temperature at best. The potato soup was hot and very good. The turkey dinner was Luke warm but tasted good. The western omelette looked like a picture and came out warm the hash browns were over cooked. The everything breakfast was warm and the hash browns were completely burned or all the way crispy and not requested that way. Our waitress brought one refill on a drink at the table. I came to Orlando with my family and after Animal Kingdom early in the morning we were starving inmagine 3 teens. Look at breakfast near me on goggle and this place was the first to came out. I just came off of a long early flight, no breakfast, no lunch and I expected quality food from this establishment. To my surprise when my food came out I was in utter shock, the scrambled eggs were horribly burnt, the hash browns seemed as if they haven't even touched the fryer, the pancakes were ice cold and the sausages were the color of concrete. Not to mention the extremely drawn out wait for our food, I've never been as frustrated with a wait. The only redeeming trait regarding this meal was the service, she was friendly and refills were promptly addressed. Well I haven't gotten to the food yet - but so far this is the WORST Bob Evans I've ever been too. There were 30 + people waiting. No hostess was no where to be found, later we found out that she was busing tables as needed. She was only interested in seating large groups. Groups of two or three waited while groups of 6-10 passed us. There were at least 15 booths or tables available for smaller groups. All were covered with food from the previous party - and stayed that way during our entire meal until the next group was brought in. There was zero reason for the wait. While focusing on the large group at LEAST 30 customers turned and left. This place needs a new manager and a busboy. read more

On One such day, the Mrs. wanted to eat Meatloaf. We selected yet another restaurant we used to dine at in the Midwest. We actually drove to the restaurant and placed our order to go. If you're looking to avoid long lines at Denny's or IHOP, this is the place to be. Not open 24 hours, but they serve breakfast all day. The food quality is what you would expect from a diner chain, but it's the customer service that sets this place apart. Kamy was our waitress and went above and beyond the normal customer service we expected. One of our tribe imbibed too much the night before and Kamy took notice. Nothing particularly wrong with this location. Restaurant was clean and tidy, varied menu and lots of room for guests. They were accommodating to my dad who likes to 'create' his own breakfast and servers remembered us from the last time we visited. My breakfast was scrambled eggs and hash browns. The scrambled eggs looked more like an omelet and slightly undercooked. The hash browns were on the 'sweet' side, I don't know how and why but I found them close to inedible. We visited this place twice for breakfast on our way to the parks as we heard positive stories about it. First time we enjoyed, good food and service was okay. Second time however, what a drama. No order could be taken correct. All our dishes had things incorrect or missing. Finally we didn't receive a portion of pancakes. After asking we told we would be the next up. Well 30 minutes later still no pancakes. Shouldn't be so tough to make for a breakfast restaurant. Only explanation we got was they had many new staff and they did their best. Oh how I wish we had Bob Evans in Miami, lol! I had such an amazing first experience yesterday morning and if I wasn't leaving Orlando at 6am I would definitely go back! First off, I walked in and was greeted with a smile and sat down right away. Minutes later, my waitress Rita brought me some amazing coffee (perfect taste and temperature)... I like cream in my coffee, which she brought, but I liked that there was a little bowl of a bunch of different flavored cream packets, nice touch!! Now, for the main attraction... THE FOOD! I ordered the "farmers choice" and man, never knew it was so damn good to eat like a farmer lol. The farmers choice came with 2 eggs cooked to order, hashbrowns or home fries (get the home fries, so good), bacon/sausage/ham- I got the bacon extra crispy (A+), and 3 pancakes (or 2 slices of French toast). Let me tell you.... This breakfast was perfect and left me stuffed for only $8.99!! *jaw drops* this is one of the first chain breakfast places I've been that cooks bacon the way it should be cooked.. amazing potatoes, fluffy pancakes.. Earlier this morning, I came to this Bob Evans with several members of my family. My plan was to drive off to work shortly after I finished eating breakfast. Instead, I waited over an hour, sipping peach tea. When we asked our waitress when the food was coming, she claimed that there was a different, larger party elsewhere in the restaurant who the cooks were focusing on first. My breakfast never actually came; so much time passed, that I had to leave to go to work, driving away with two slices of Bob Evans' banana bread and an energy bar from my mother. The most frustrating part of it all was rushing to work as fast as I could, and clocking in a minute late! A restaurant has one primary function: to bring food to their guests and this restaurant FAILED SPECTACULARLY. He waited on us, you could tell they were under staffed, but waiting over 2 hours for your food is ridiculous and then for it to come out and it's wrong and burnt. I was going to give this location 4 star but I reduced to 2 star because of cleanliness after we ate, and observing 6 to 8 employees hanging in a corner with what I believe was the manager (a middle aged heavy set man) they where all talking about drinking alcohol and going out. none of them where cleaning any thing just talking. I guess they never heard the saying "if you have time to lean you have time to clean". We had several hours to kill before our hotel room was to be ready. we got here during lunch rush (approx. 12:30 and didn't leave till almost 3:30) during this time they had plenty of help, but no one did any cleaning. the floor in the dining room was dirty, the bathroom had no soap and had a mess of paper towels on the sink and floor, and the floor in the service area was absolutely filthy. The food flavor was what I have experienced a other BOB'S so no issues there. the service was from a seasoned employee, so no issues there. but I would not go back to this location, because if the front of the house is unkempt, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like, which of course we don't get to see. I would fire the whole staff including managers and start fresh. I is very apparent that the people who work here are just there for the check and could care less. I will use this experience to ever consider any other BOB'S again. read more

We sat close enough to the food coming out of the kitchen to see our order sat in the window for 12 minutes before another employee called for Diane to come and get it. My husband asked her if it was hot because we saw it sitting up there so long. She basically dismissed us. Of course the food was not hot and my toast was burned. Then to top it off we saw this same waitress Diane take a French fry off of a cheeseburger plate in the heat window and plop it in her mouth! Someone's order and she ate off of it! It is fairly accessible from the 192. Enough available parking. Wait - We ate here twice. Saturday morning @ 9:30a, we had a less than 5 min wait. Monday morning @ 9:30a, also a quick wait. From order to table - This was where I took away some stars. It took a significant long time to prepare our food. Service - Excellent. Kept my cup full of coffee. Friendly staff. Price - Reasonable. Came in at 930 am on a thursday for breakfast. Not that busy right now. Greeted when we got in by employees that were even going home which was nice. Our waitress, Tracy R, was absolutely amazing. She was a total sweetheart and never let our coffee go empty, I had about 4 to 5 cups. I saw her always moving and making sure everyone else was well taken care of. She gave a lovely comment to us about how nice we were and about my wife's ring. Even the manager was out bussing tables as well. Me and my wife both loved our food and coffee. I had the country fried steak. It was cooked just right, now soft but not hard. She had the Brioche French Toast which she thought was great as well. For all of that and two coffees our bill plus tax was only $21.25. Great deal in my eyes. It beats going to ihop or dennys. Sadly we are from California so we can't come back. Oh boy, where to start. We visited on 9/1 at around 3pm for an early dinner/late lunch. We were nervous as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, because we only saw maybe three cars there. Anyways, we were seated quickly, and that is where the positives ended. We waited almost fifteen minutes just to get our drinks. With only one other family sitting down eating I was amazed it took that long for drinks. I watched as my hamburger sat waiting to be picked up for almost 10 minutes. I grew up in Ohio, where Bob Evans originates, which means this place tastes like weekend mornings growing up. Service was excellent, from the host to our server. We were well-taken care of and our special tweaks to our orders were handled appropriately. Food was good and served quickly. First time checking out a Bob Evans restaurant. Not disappointed! The Pot Roast was delicious as was the Turkey Dinner. We also tried the Candied Bacon (as our waitress said; its dangerously good). The twisted mozzarella sticks are probably the best deal ever - you get 7 for around $4. The banana bread is great! We left with 2 loaves. Our waitress was the nicest ever - Leisa. Last year I was able to get my thanksgiving plates aside from having to wait a bit longer to get my order once I arrived. Probably 15 minutes, no big deal. But this year was messy. I understand there are shortages & things can get out of control but they really dropped the ball this thanksgiving for those who preordered meals for pickup. My father who lives out of state ordered thanksgiving meals for my partner & I. We both work full-time & are in school so we don't have much time to cook or family to be with. I arrived there during my window & once I got there the manager said they were out of food to fulfill the online orders. It sounded like they oversold. Luckily I do not have a family or kids to feed at home so I wasn't too stressed but a bit let down that I drove out there to come back home with nothing to eat. The manager offered me nothing & said they'd be in contact & I MAY get a refund. Okay...I guess?? I can imagine those that do have families to feed or relied heavily on this meal for their day were very upset and stressed. Not a good look. As someone who has worked in restaurant service, you need a better system of expediting orders from the walk ins.
