I had one of my most disappointing Red Lobster experiences at this location recently, mainly due to our server. My cousins and I stopped by for an early dinner. Our waitress didn't seem happy to be there and had a cold demeanor that carried over into the service we received. She took a long time just to take our orders for drinks after we were seated even though that's usually the first and quickest thing a waiter does. I'll note that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy either. Once our orders were in (for drinks and appetizers), we had to remind her to bring the biscuits. We had to remind her again to bring a second round of biscuits after we finished the first basket. We've never had to remind wait staff at Red Lobster to provide the most basic service, so that was really annoying. Once our meals were served, I don't recall her checking on us at all. She seemed completely uninterested in providing the bare minimum level of service. Only when it was time for us to pay did she seem a little more chipper and she made sure to point out the tipping guide at the bottom of the receipt. A couple of us needed to-go boxes and I also requested a bag of biscuits. She gave us a bag with literally only 2 biscuits in it... for our party of 5. Our experience with her didn't seem to be unique as we noticed a neighboring table (who our waitress was also responsible for) complaining to the manager at some point. We would've done the same, however the manager was nowhere to be found toward the end of our meal even after waiting a bit to see if he'd come back around. read more

The food was great, The Ultimate Feast was enough for two people. We had the shrimp scampi, crab legs, cheddar Bay biscuits, shrimp and linguine sauce, mashed potatoes salmon and broccoli. I have loved R.L since I was a little kid. That was our go to place for special occasions. Now as an adult, I go there whenever I need a fix and I usually order the same thing every time. This time, I had to try the seafood boil that they have been talking about for a while now. Although most of their reviews have been negative, I'm glad to say that this boil DID NOT disappoint. The only thing missing for me was a small bowl of hot steaming white rice to dip into that garlicky Cajun sauce. Service was good from the host to the server. The restaurant was clean and there were a few persons in there. They had light music playing so you could hear your thoughts as well as your server. They have happy hour drinks! Come on Red Lobster, I'm loving it. I grabbed a happy hour classic margarita, and an extra spicy sea food boil. I don't even like to eat their biscuits and I ate 3. Probably my second time at this location and everything was great! It's one of the very few locations left in our area. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and for the entree, my sister and I both got the pick 4 shrimp combo. The value was great for all the food we got! Do not sleep on Red Lobster!!! I am a huge fan, but hadn't visited in a while. Back to be home!! We had the chicken bacon ramch flatbread for the first time- geezzz!! Wasnt expecting the corn to be so good with bacon. I'm obsessed and need the recipe. The endless shrimp will always be my favorite- the crispy dragon has just become my top shrimp. It's not too spicy, but you will feel it. The linguini can always use a little bit more sauce, but that's just my preference. I end up adding some of the scampi sauce to the pasta and WELCOME TO PARADISE. The key lime pie was a nice surprise (we always get the chocolate cake). The service is always top notch- i forgot to check the name for the blonde server today during lunch, but she was AMAZING! PLease never take out the dragon shrimp or the coconut one. Decided to pick up my online order at this Red Lobster after spending some time at Old Town. I was a few minutes early, but the hostess assured me that my order was being prepared and will receive it when it's ready. I ordered grilled shrimp and shrimp scampi with some orzo rice which was served with some cheddar bay biscuits. The food was cooked nicely as usual. We went there for our Anniversary, got over served cooked Calamari we had to tell the waiter. He said oh I see it's over cooked. I asked for a Moscow Mull drink, bartender made it in rocks glass, not a copper cup. My Arnold Palmer was made with Raspberry tea and lemonade. Then the waiter said they only gives the Veteran discount, $3.80 on a $81.00 bill. He doesn't give a discount for the whole meal, just what the vet eats. There are not enough words in the world to convince me that what they promote their food to be is what they serve. I saw the picture of the lobster and shrimp mac & cheese online, as well as their menu and thought to myself "hmmm I only ever ate here once as a child, maybe things have changed and I should give it another shot" but boy was I wrong. #1) this restaurant is dark and dingy and I will never understand why a restaurant will have carpet flooring (it's makes the restaurant feel dark, it's just , and it just makes the whole establishment smelly). #2) the tables were extremely sticky and disgusting (i had to ask for a set of paper towels to clean the table because I didn't trust the dirty black rag the waitress was carrying around). #3) how can you advertise such a colorful & plentiful dish and serve the most bland looking plate... and if you don't believe me, check out my side by side photo... & you guessed it.... the dish tasted just as bland as it looked (maybe even worse to be honest). I do have to say now that I'm on keto my favorites were no longer an option. Popcorn shrimp is my lifelong favorite. Today I went for the lobster, shrimp and salmon and every bite was super tasty. I really love going to Red Lobster and this one is far more outstanding than the others. I was seated in the tables where Sandrine was my server. I was mesmerized by her guest service. She was so friendly and professional. She treated me like a VIP. Sandrine immediately took my drink order and immediately I ordered the Friday special: Fish and Chips served with coleslaw. I substituted the fries with Lobster Mashed Potatoes with an upcharge. I'm so glad I did because it paired well with the Garlic Cheddar Bisquits which I used for dipping. The Lobster mashed potatoes tasted delicious with its white gravy. The coleslaw was sweet to my taste in which I enjoyed. Finally the best part was the crispy fried fish. It was a large piece of cod which I covered with malt vinegar and Red Lobsters signature tartar sauce. During my dining experience, Sandrine was very attentive with refills and always asked how my meal was going. Sandrine is totally an asset to the Red Lobster Restaurant company. I recommend all my fellow Yelpers and locals to visit and to be seated in Sandrine's section. There is a 10% military veteran's discount.. KUDOS Sandrine. First of great job John our server. He was awesome. When we came in yesterday there was no one at the door to greet us but as soon he came to the table he introduced himself then apologized for the short 2min wait (really wasn't bad). The service was top shelf, to the point where all questions about meals and descriptions he gave was to the "T". Great job to the chef on the cook of the meals. My steak was exactly as requested and all of the meals that was ordered was delicious. 1 con for me was the lighting was a bit too dim but other than that great spot. This last visit was great and the service was good. Sadly I do not remember our servers name. The meal was so good we left nothing but shells left over. We had the ultimate feast and it was ok for me to substitute the scampi for the sea scallops. Here is the only down fall:......When we asked what the up charge would be the server said she wasn't sure and never came back to tell us. So we found out when it came time to pay. I decided to come to this red lobster for the first time with a few of the individuals that I work for. We were all there and we just ordered food and drinks. Food came out at a decently prompt time. But probably just as good if not better than the food was the waitress, She was extremely courteous. She checked on us so much just to make sure we were OK. She also corrected any mistakes that were made on our part or better yet just cleared up any confusion. She was awesome and we tipped her well for that. We normally really enjoy Red Lobster but they are so hit and miss with their customer service. Tonight we decided to have dinner so my Mom and bestie could enjoy the Endless Shrimp before it ended. After being seated straight away we waited for almost 10 minutes before our server Mario came over to greet us and take our drink order. Once he delivered our drinks along with some biscuits we placed our orders. Mom and the Bestie chose endless shrimp and I asked for a little bit more time. He went and put their orders in and after a few minutes he came back and I opted for the petite shrimp and lobster roll sans the bread. Before we knew it our orders were being delivered and Mom and B were reordering more shrimp. By the time they received their refills I was done with my entree. While he took the time to clear their dishes he left mine sitting in front of me and he never asked if I wanted anything else. When Mom and B requested shrimp refills after the initial refill his reaction seemed as though we were putting him out by ordering more and he actually forgot to put my besties reorder in. He did make up for it by putting in for multiple orders of his shrimp but he also never offered drink refills unless we requested them and Mom had to ask for more water 3 times. The biggest issue I had with the only meal was I ordered the Key Lime Pie to go and when he brought it out I opened the box and found a prepackaged pie with a use by Sept 4, 2019 stamped on it. Seriously? He could have at least unwrapped the pie before putting it in the box. I'm pretty sure the pie isn't served to dining in guests, plus there was no berry puree or whipped cream like in the photo. I think I will take a break from Red Lobster for now.
