In Orlando at the nearby Gaylord Hotel, our party of five had some time on a Saturday morning before we needed to be somewhere, so we headed to IHOP for some breakfast. I was pleased that there was not a wait to get seated and we were able to get coffee and water pretty quickly. I ordered my go-to, an egg white omelette with veggies and an english muffin. Five star service from Nate at IHOP in Kissimmee today! We were promptly seated for a late breakfast. There is more than adequate seating at this location to handle the crowds. The place was bright and clean. No sticky tables! Nate took our order and even offered menu suggestions including combos. I had the French toast with a side of fruit. My husband had a Colorado omelette with a side of pancakes. The omelette was packed with meat and veggies. We also had blueberry pancakes and coffee. Avoid this place. The service here is terrible from start to finish and it is a complete rip-off. When we first walked in, we stood at the front for 15 minutes and nobody showed up to seat us. We literally had to go search for a staff member just to get a table.After finally getting seated, we waited over an hour for our food when there were only two other tables occupied in the entire restaurant. On top of the massive delay, they failed to bring out our entire order. When we asked to have the missing items removed from our bill, our server, Dan, gave us an awful attitude. He refused to adjust the check and flatly told us he would just pack it to go instead. The staff is unfriendly, the service is non-existent, and the billing practices are completely dishonest. Horrible service from Tina. Only one time she asked if our food was okay. The salmon was so salty I couldnt finish it. She refused to let me speak to a manager after asking her several times. I also complained and refused to give her tip because the only thing she did was bring our food to the table. The manager finally came to checkout area in which so incompetent. My visit to this IHOP was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. We had to wait forever for our food, and the service was extremely poor from start to finish. We didn't even get straws until 10 minutes after our drinks arrived, and we didn't get napkins until we were nearly done eating. Our server, Cameron, was not attentive or welcoming. When the food finally came, my mother's sandwich was made incorrectly -- it had bacon on it even though we had specifically asked for no bacon due to religious reasons. Cameron said it would be remade, but it was back in five minutes and completely cold. It was obvious they just scraped the bacon off instead of making a fresh one. When we asked if it had actually been remade, Cameron just said, "the manager is coming out" without giving us an answer. The manager who came to the table was short, very sweaty, out of breath, and looked extremely unprofessional and honestly gross. He insisted it had been remade -- which made no sense because he also said the item had already been taken off the check. If it was truly remade properly, why was it removed from the bill? He then walked away without even offering to remove the cold sandwich from the table. Throughout the rest of our meal, we could hear the manager yelling loudly at the staff from the kitchen -- completely unprofessional and uncomfortable for customers to hear. When it came time to pay, we tried to use a 20% off discount offered through our resort. The server told us we couldn't use it on both checks and went to ask the manager -- only for us to hear the manager screaming from the kitchen, "NO STACKING COUPONS." We weren't stacking coupons -- we were trying to apply the same promotion to two separate checks, which is completely standard. Then another manager, a bald, round man, came out and told us we needed a physical coupon from the resort -- even though our resort clearly stated that showing a room key was enough. Only after we showed him a picture of the promotion did he finally apply the discount. Overall, the workers were incredibly unprofessional and the service was awful. I used to work at IHOP myself, so I know how things should be done -- and this was unacceptable. I will not be eating here again and I suggest you don't either. read more

This is based off of take out service! It's Sunday, it's busy, everyone wants breakfast on Sundays so all of the lockal brunch/breakfast joints are packed! I tried to get ahold of them by phone but no lunch so I went online and ordered and for my first time ordering online there's a code for 20 % off!(ihop20) and I put it in I was skeptical of the time it would be ready but low and behold when I got there it was actually ready! The parking lot is a bit small, it looks like it may have been an old Pizza Hut buffet spot but none the less they were buy! I'll start off by saying we went in a bit crabby this morning. So I may be more critical of some things than I may have been tomorrow. However there were definitely some issues. For starters I was watching as they tried to get a group of four people (two VERY obese) to fit in those little booths. They looked uncomfortable, the woman was embarrassed. Don't put fat people in booths. She took our orders, mostly water with lemon. She did remember the lemon, which is nice. For food we ordered a bacon omelette, a pablano omelette, a poblano hollandaise and a Nashville hot waffle. The bacon omelette was just ok. The cheese sauce was grainy and tasted of flour and preservatives. Guessing the cheese sauce came from a tube. Would have been better without that. Or with a slice or two of real cheese. As a side 3 blueberry pancakes were ordered. They came with about 4 blue berries and just a touch of blueberry sauce. Couldn't find our waitress for refills or butter, or syrup. This came out first, the other items took a while. By the time the other food came out my meal was cold. The second thing to come out was the pablano hollandaise. In the picture it comes out with a big pile of peppers and onions. In practice there was about a teaspoon on each egg. Had to ask for more, was brought an additional teaspoon. Was charged for it. As a side crispy potato's were ordered. They came out white and mushy. Lastly - and this may be picky, but there were not poblanos or sliced Serrano in either pablano dish. It was apparent that all of the peppers were substituted for bitter bell peppers. It lacked salt and was quite bland. This dish was also cold by the time the fourth dish came out. At this point we still hadn't seen the waitress for hot sauce, butter, syrup or refills. The third thing that came (delivered by our waitress this time) was the pablano omelette. Like the first pablano dish, only bell peppers, lacked salt, an anemic amount of peppers and onions. What I did like was the excellent portion of avocado. The side for this dish was a stack of strawberry banana pancakes. Compared to the first stack this one had quite a bit of strawberry syrup. Unlike the first one it was unpalatable. Tasted of artificial strawberry's. It had plenty of fruit on top too, which is why I noticed how anemic the blueberries were on the first dish. 30 minutes in we finally got refills on our drinks, napkins, hot sauce and syrup (the butter NEVER came). This dish was also cold by the time the fourth dish came out. Our drinks were never refilled again. We didn't have another visit from the waitress again till it was time to pay. We could however see her up at the register chatting and having a good time with her co-worker. The fourth dish - when we ordered it came with a disclaimer. If you order it, you can't return it if you don't like it. You're stuck with it. Fortunately we have had it before and we know Nashville hot is spicy, honey, and a little hot pepper powder. The potential for gritty, too spicy chicken didn't faze us and we ordered it anyway. It was the only one that was eaten hot. Everyone agreed it was the best thing we ordered. However it wasn't spicy at all. We had to drown it in hot sauce to be able to detect any heat. I found it a little saltier than your standard Nashville hot but my nephew loved it (with hot sauce). As to service it's worth mentioning again that in a bit over an hour at the restaurant we only had one refill, that we had to track the waitress down to get. We never got the butter. 3 of the four dishes were cold by the time the fourth one came out. When we wanted the bill we had to call the waitress over from her perch by the cashier. All totaled we paid $86 plus a tip for sub par food and service (as compared to other ihops). The restaurant wasn't busy, there were maybe 6-7 tables seated. Maybe 25% of the dining room. As to ambiance it was clean, which was wonderful. It looked relatively new and inviting. This was the reason for the third star. It was really well taken care of in an area that doesn't seem to care. Get the food and service under control and you'll have an excellent thing here. read more

Absolutely horrible experience at IHOP last night with my two children. Service was extremely slow even though we were one of about three tables. My son ordered the Rooty Tutti Apple waffle combo and we had one TINY apple slice on top of the waffle. It looked nothing like the menu picture. We actually took a picture of the waffle as soon as it was placed on our table because we couldn't believe it. I'm posting that picture in this review. When I brought this to the attention of the server, she said that's all we could have. She said it was a 2 ounce portion, which I made very clear to her. It was nowhere near 2 ounces! When I told her that's not what the menu picture represented, she reluctantly said, OK I'll give you one more this time but I won't do it ever again. I've never been treated like this in any restaurant. We waited forever to get our check. She was clearly unable to handle the few tables she was given, and she knew NOTHING about customer service. Extremely disappointed. Emma will not be back. I'm posting a picture of the menu item that we should've received along with the waffle that we actually received. One tiny apple slice, which actually looks bigger in our picture because it was closer to the camera :-( UPDATE-I'm going to amend my review from a one star to a three star because shortly after posting it I received a call from the manager. She was very apologetic and encouraged us to come back in so we could give IHOP another chance to show that they do have good service and good food. It was really late and we decided to visit this IHOP on Hwy 192. Our server was super nice and attentive. I learned that after 10pm, they swap out their daily "big" menus with their smaller menu with limited items. That is, I was looking for their fried steak but it's not on their after 10 menu. This was your typical modeled IHOP that's standardized nationwide. That's ok, it gives patrons that feeling of comfort and familiarity. Also familiar was the "sticky" floors at the booth where we sat, There were hardly any other customers at 10pm so our server was very attentive. Their smaller menu still has plenty of omelets, waffles, pancakes, etc. She brought us our drinks and took our orders swiftly. She did get Sarah's order wrong by bringing her a regular smiley face pancake instead of the chocolate chip, but she rectified it bringing her correct pancake. It did take a little longer than she promised. My breakfast sampler was acceptable. Sunny side up eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and bacon. Everything was delicious except the bacon tasted strongly of the used oil it was fried in. April's mozarella sticks were large and decilious. Anthony's hamburger was nicely cooked on a large bun. Tammy's veggie egg white omelet was also delicious. The food here tonight was what I expected from an IHOP and they did not disappoint us for the most part. They do have a large breakfast menu, so we took our time reviewing our choices. I ended up ordering a double decker BLT. Our food came quickly, and everything was hot. The BLT had lots of bacon, maybe a bit crunchy for a sandwich, but it was OK. We did have trouble getting more coffee, but eventually it came. Cleanliness - out of 10 I would give this an 8; tables were cleaned very well and quickly, but the rug as you walk in and area was a little dirty. Open 24/7! Late night pancakes after closing Magic Kingdom park last night. Located across Celebration on Route 192 it was a welcome sight after spending a long day at the park surrounded by annoying brats, obnoxious parents with their baby carriages banging into everyone, tourists and local Floridians with bad body odor, while also worshiping at the altar of The Rat sucking my money away. Clean, spacious with plenty of seating, friendly service, and a full menu full of IHOP staples. So many pancake and breakfast combos to choose from. Even when you build your own omelet like I did it also comes with a stack of fluffy pancakes. Yum. Hey, even the bathroom was clean and smelled good. What more needs to be said? It's freaking pancakes. It's freaking hot coffee. It's freaking breakfast served at all hours of the day. It's affordable. It was tasty. It's all good. We rolled out of here fat and happy at 2AM, then went to bed in a pancake coma. read more

I just want to do a quick update here to bump them up from my previous 3 stars to 4 stars. When we go to Orlando, we usually eat here for breakfast at least one of the mornings (if not more) during our stay. We are always seated quickly and service is excellent. They do a great job at getting people in and out because they know most are heading into the Parks for the day. It's also nice to see the servers so friendly and attentive since they have to deal with mostly tourists the majority of the time, and sorry, but a lot of the tourists can be a real pain in the ass! Trust me, I know this from experience because we lived there and my husband worked at Disney. The food is always consistent. There's nothing really special about it, it's IHOP; however, it's always tasty and hot. We've never once had a problem with any of our meals. Two thumbs up for this location! read more

So, this review is about this particular location. IHOP is IHOP when it comes to food, but the service can be different depending on where you go...especially in Orlando. I've found that since Orlando is tourist driven, (especially in the Kissimmee area) you can get really bad service because restaurants know they'll get business no matter what. The focus is not on repeat business. I'm in Orlando several times a year for conferences I work, conferences my husband works and meeting friends who "vacay" in Orlando. This location actually gives you great service no matter what. I actually looked for this particular location on my last Orlando stay. As soon as you walk in (whether busy or not) the manager greets you. He pays great attention to the hostess stand and tables coming available. During one of my husband's conferences that me and the kids decided to use as our "schools out" vacation it rained a lot. So I dropped the kids off in front and told them to go ahead and get seated while I park. When I walked in the manager immediately knew I was the parent and said "your kids are in there on the right, mam." (SIDE NOTE: my kids don't look like me....I look like I'm the nanny). Serious attention to detail! Kudos to the manager (he's a tall, serious-looking bald guy). I don't know how I remember people's faces and not names, but I was seated with a middle-aged server named Daniel or Dave for the 2nd time since last year and he is the best server in the joint. I am really crazy about my eggs...you may have seen from other reviews that I take my eggs over medium...I get all excited when the cook gets it right...I can't stand it when I get an over easy egg after asking for over medium! I explained to "Daniel" that I need the middle to be creamy...that when my fork or turkey bacon touches the yolk, I want it to stick, not run off...he told me that he'd talk to the cook. My eggs came out perfect. "Daniel" is personable and he even joked with my kids. Although "Daniel" is the best I have had good service from every server I've encountered at this IHOP...and they tend to get my eggs right. This IHOP isn't in SIRIs GPS as of this writing. If you do use SIRI and happen to be on this side of Irlo Bronson, You may pass this one on the way to the one 3 miles down the road. This location is closest to the big starbucks with the great outdoor seating and a golden coral about 3 businesses down. The manager also never forgets to tell you goodbye and have a good day when you leave. read more

It's pancake season! Breakfast or lunch or make it your own brunch. IHOP, you can never go wrong with simple and wallet friendly meals. This store is always full but you are never really waiting long. The staff is constantly moving and they have a variety of pancake options. There's a strawberry and banana option. A Belgium chocolate, which is super chocolate, a blueberry one and at least 3 more options. It's not trendy or chic but the food is consistent and fills you. read more

Great location on Irlo Bronson with lots of parking. The restaurant is very busy but the staff always seemed up to the task. I love the pot of coffee on the table to speed things up. I always get scrambled eggs (I'm told they put a dash of pancake batter in with them to make them extra fluffy) and a side of their delicious pancakes. Never tried a burger, but that's on my "to do" list. My only suggestion would be to offer an app that I could pay on, or a cashier to pay on the way out. Bringing me the bill, picking it up, cashing me out and bringing me a receipt is a lot of wasted steps and time for an otherwise busy server. read more

IHOP's can be tricky sometimes they are good and sometimes not. This one on 192 near Celebration is a good one. The cooks always put out a good product breakfast and lunch. The staff is friendly and efficient and they keep the restaurant clean. There is some tourist traffic from the nearby hotel, but a lot of regular locals as well. The bacon omelette is my favorite breakfast and of course hamburgers for lunch. I live close by so we will be back many times until we move from the area. read more

On the final day of a family trip to Orlando we decided to have breakfast at this location before heading home. We had been given some gift cards for Christmas and free breakfast sounded great! The restaurant was pretty busy but thankfully we were seated immediately. The server was not overly friendly but was polite. Food took a little long, but it was understandable due to the crowd. The waiter kept up with us and made sure we always had everything we needed. Everything arrived hot and was pretty tasty. The restaurant was kept nice & clean and appears to have been renovated in the past few years. Restrooms were clean, too. Overall, you may think all IHOP's are alike but I disagree.
