Haven't visited Bob Evans for years. Today my wife had a doctor's appointment in the afternoon. We were starved when she was finished with her doctor visit and since we had eaten little we thought we should try a late breakfast. The farmer's breakfast was the just the ticket and we pigged out. Pancakes with extra syrup, hash browns, eggs over easy, maple smoked bacon and plenty of black coffee. Everything was really tasty. It was cleaned and not crowded The service was excellent and everyone was pleasant. We will visit next time we want to overdose on carbs and a few eggs. read more

This is one of the best Bob Evans I have ever dined in. I was greeted promptly and upon being seated I was asked for my drink order. I had barely taken off my jacket and my coffee, creamer and water arrived. It was during the breakfast hours, but I had a hankering for their Wildfire Chicken Salad since I've been up long before sunrise that day. So I asked if that was possible and to my delight I was told, "No problem". I was served promptly and my salad looked gorgeous. And it was delicious. The chicken still warm, all ingredients looking and tasting very fresh. And my server kept my coffee cup full at all times, which is important to me. I see a lot of less than stellar reviews here, but my experience was great. read more

Late Sunday night did not feel like cooking. Really was craving chicken noodle soup and Bob Evan's was the only restaurant nearby with it still open. It was very tasty and perfect for carry out. Large portion and good price. Will definitely do that again. Everyone was very friendly as well. read more

The fish filets were like 3 small fish fingers about three inches long for 12.99 with fries and slaw not worth it. Dont order the fish.

No wait and service was friendly and quick! Breakfast was so good with a huge amount of food. We really enjoyed this place. Prices were good as well. It's a busy diner but felt like a local place even though it's just off the freeway. read more

It's been a while since I went to Bob Evans. There is no doubt their breakfast is awesome and above par, but this time I tried their banana bread and it is also out of this world! read more

I shouldn't have expected much for a chain like Bob Evan's, but my Patachou addiction has made me look down on all other omelettes. Wanting something fresh and healthy, I ordered the garden harvest omelette with spinach, onions, etc. What came out to me looked nice, but I quickly noticed 1) it was greasy looking and 2) it was smothered in hollandaise sauce. So much for being healthy. The veggies were scant and sad, and there was too much cheese. Service was friendly but a slow...but then she gave us the bill when I wasn't done eating like "hurry up." The few highlights: my dish came with a good cup of fresh fruit (grapes, pineapple and cantaloupe) and the biscuits are delish! Plus it's conveniently located right off I-69 for travelers. read more

Coming here at 7 pm on a Saturday evening we thought it wouldn't be busy, considering they closed at 8! We thought wrong. Little did we know they sat an 11, 8 and 5 top before us. Our server took about 7' to come to our table for drinks but we knew what we wanted and ordered everything. This was approximately at 7:10. By 7:40 we still didn't have our food. Server stopped by to say it was taking awhile due to those larger tables. They also didn't have their food, and the massive amount of to go orders they received. By 7:56 we finally got our food, COLD, Missing ingredients and looked like it was haphazardly thrown on the plate. It was a major let down. Tracking down the server we told him about it and he offered to remake the loaded fries. Manager walked by and we said the food w items etc and she offered to remake it. We agreed but wanted it to go since it was 8 pm. At this same time the 8 too also asked for their food to go as they waited so long they couldn't wait anymore. The 5 too has kids and they were starting to get restless too. Finally by 8:15 we had the to go order which the manager explained she personally made herself. I glanced in the bag to make sure it was all there, not opening each container, paid the bill, because nothing was compensated, and left. Side note the 5 top just got their food and the 12 top was still waiting for theirs at 8:15. We get home my daughter opened her bacon cheeseburger box only to find there wasn't any bacon!! So I called bob Evans spoke to the manager and she offered to have a free one Sunday if we wanted. I realize they were busy. I realize they could have been short staffed but to have to go through all that trouble and wait that long shouldn't have happened. I think if the dinning room is busy to go orders should be cut off until they're caught up with patrons that decide to sit and eat in the building. Worst experience for a first time ever. We won't be back. read more

ordered food from there and missing stuff almost every time I order food with waiter on the way from this place.

I got tired of throwing store-bought lettuce or salad mix away every week, and feeling guilty about wasting money. So now, almost weekly, my husband and I order a family sized salad and a family sized green beans to use as a meal, or go along with a main dish we make at home. Being keto - we love that they offer these to-go. The salad is always fresh and the green beans have the best flavor with nice sized chunks of ham. I order it on the App and it is ready, almost always, within 10-15 minutes. Very convenient and tasty. Thank you, Bob Evans! read more

The service was amazing but the food was terrible. Some seasoning would have been nice. The chicken was so dry it was almost like jerky. Not everyone eats their food plain. read more

We were at the Bob Evans in Indiana when we were at the Auburn Auto Auction. The restaurant was very busy, however, the service was awful. Although our server was nice (Allyson), we waited and waited for our food. Perhaps this was the fault of the cooks, no idea. After waiting for close to an hour, Allyson comes to our table to tell us my pancakes disappeared. She believes another server took them (whether accidentally or not, she said) and they would have to redo the order. I sat there while my party ate their entire meal. When my pancakes finally arrived they were not yet done - mushy and liquidy inside like they weren't fully cooked. The meal was taken off the check but we're still unhappy with the experience at Bob Evans. I had complained VIA the Bob Evans website and was contacted by The Director of Operations, Cassie Kleeberg, who apologized but didn't do anything to make it right, and so I won't be returning to any Bob Evans ever again. read more

Place stinks like mom's britches..no joke, has a funny smell. Uhhhhh yes average at best .mm

This place is incapable of getting my order correct. Today I ordered a plate with the angus and the sesame chicken. They charged me for both but didn't put the angus portion in the meal. No sauces and they didn't include a straw for the drink. I would estimate that they do not include all of my order but still charge me for it 30% of the times I have ordered here. Additionally, when I call to tell them about my experience in hopes that they take the feed back and make improvements, know one answers and I am directed to a voicemail. No one has ever called me back to offer a solution. I will not eat here anymore and would not recommend this location. read more

Something has happened to a once good place to get a good carry-out breakfast. Four times in a row over maybe a 2 or 3 month period we have been shorted food we ordered and paid for. I don't know if it's a staff problem, but they can't seem to fill the order properly any more or don't want to. My husband has decided to give up on them. read more

Your typical Midwest breakfast place. As a chain, they are all corporately owned and each place is exactly alike. Food is okay. It's a busy place on the weekends and therefore service is kind of slow - but the manager came by multiple times to see how we were doing and check up on other tables. This location is clean (I.e. Menu's aren't sticky, tables are wiped down, floor doesn't have hash browns all over the place) and the servers are friendly. Portions are huge! Biscuits are great! They also offer coffee to-go at the end of the meal which is unique to most chains. read more

Don't order ahead from here if you are looking to have your order ready on time. We placed our order for 11:30 AM pick up but I'm still sitting waiting at 12:30 PM. I understand labor shortages but value your customers' time and let them know if you are running an hour behind. read more

Horrible horrible horrible. Honestly i think this is the worst service ive ever had anywherre. I would give a 3+ if there whoud be an option. For four of us we ordered farm market salad and beef veg soup, omelet and blueberry crepes. My grandma asked for a spoon for the coffee. Went to Bob Evans Village of Coventry 11/26 around noon. As I walked in the greeter was seating a party of four or five people. There were two other people in the lobby. I told the greeter I was a party of one. She told me it would be one to one and a half hour wait. Bob Evans doesn't take reservations so I could only imagine that the morning of Black Friday had been stressful and they wanted a break. I left Bob Evans and went to a Culver's near by. I had my food in five minutes and it was hot and delicious. Next time I think about going to Bob Evans, (My wife and I usually eat there every weekend), I'll just go to Culver's instead. read more

For lunch, I got the BOB EVANS WILDFIRE™ CHICKEN SALAD--Wildfire fried chicken, BBQ tortilla strips, corn, scallions and cheddar cheese top mixed greens. Served with Bob Evans® Wildfire Ranch dressing. The description is a lie. There's not such thing as mixed greens in this salad. Just iceberg lettuce that was starting to rot. Yep..but I'm not surprised. The BBQ chicken was pretty tender and juicy, and I loved the BBQ sauce. Very tangy, and a bit of spice. The cheese and scallions really complimented the salad and made it bearable to eat. Next time, I would just go for a sandwich. read more

It's Bob Evans - consistent. Which is good. I've been here mostly for breakfast. The breakfasts are about like everyone else's - competitive price, wide menu, and tasty. The staff has always been friendly and prompt. Good with the refills and check. Keep BE as one of your breakfast alternatives if you are in the north side of Fort Wayne. read more

I was really looking forward to trying another Midwest breakfast staple, and was hoping that it would find itself above the likes of Cracker Barrel and the disgusting place called "Perkins". Unfortunately, I was yet again disappointed, and kind of disgusted. The staff were friendly enough, the food was standard (and greasy), the service was quick- as well as the nausea that quickly came upon both my husband and I as we were leaving. I hope that this was unique to this location and this time, but my hesitation to trying it again is still palpable. read more

Online order is an epic failure here. Told me my food was going to be ready in 35 minutes and I paid. When you show up and wait 20 minutes without people looking you in the eye and refusing to acknowledge you. It's like they are holding your money hostage since they refused to issue a refund if I cancel my order. If they had given me a one hour promise time I would have showed up when they told me. And then if it isn't ready when they say... they need to acknowledge you and make sure they get you taken care of. That's customer service. Instead they refuse to meet your eyes for 20 minutes and when you demand their attention they tell you 20 more minutes. I heard you take a phone order for 20 minutes 10 minutes ago. Will theirs be late too? Be realistic! If this was something I could come back for sure. But you are offering a good/service that is time sensitive as to how long it will be good after it's cooked. Timing is critical. Get it right. Get better customer service. Promise times are promise times. Better management training needed. Manager was completely unhelpful and said I would need to contact corporate for my refund when I decided to abandon the order because I couldn't wait another 30 minutes. read more

Don't come here for the evening shift. Nobody is at the door and you stand there waiting to be noticed and seated. Once you're seated they don't come back for over 5 minutes to get a drink order in. Once they take your order she came back 3 times to clarify what I already told her. Then there wasn't a fork in the rolled up napkin. Servers just stand around up front and loudly chat in front of guests, they clean around your table like they're closing just to get out early. I've gotten take out here and they always forget something in the order. The value on the food is good and there is variety but the management and staff here are so unprofessional that I'm done with this place for good. read more

The food was fine, but we waited 20 minutes for it. There was a clock on the wall, so I know that it was 20 minutes. During those 20 minutes, the server came to our table once to give me a coffee refill, but never said anything about the wait. The table next to us came in after us, ordered after we did, received food before we did, and were about finished eating by the time we go our food. Also, we could see our server was being friendly and attentive to her other tables, but never bothered to check if my husband needed more water, even though his glass was low. After she brought us our food, she did not come back to our table until after we were done eating, and she gave us our check. Also, it should be noted that it was not busy. This was around 11am on a Monday. Overall, even though the food was fine, the service really ruined it for us. read more
