Went to this location the other day and it was a great experience! Our waitress with the short spikey hair was super sweet (don't recall her name). Everyone's food came out hot and was tasty! Good service... but took well over an hour to get our food AFTER ordering. Not to mention, it took 10+ minutes to get seated. To add to the story, I was not feeling my best and very hungry. So hungry as it was near lunch time and my food wasn't prepared in competent time. In the end the food was alright for how much time we had to wast waiting for our food. I am very disappointed in not only the service but the food I was provided as a curbside order. I placed the order an hour before I needed it, arrived 10 minutes before it should've been ready, called in to let them know I had arrived, and THEN had to wait another half hour for my order. I would've been sitting there longer had I not walked inside and gotten the order myself. Lo and behold the order had been sitting at the to go location the entire time I had been sitting there. I ordered curbside due to a broken foot and had to walk in anyway to pick up a cold, incorrect order. I do NOT recommend stopping at this restaurant as there were only a handful of tables occupied and no one was out front to greet people coming through the door. I brought my food home and fed it to my dogs; it was that poor. Can I give this place a 0 for effort as well as everything else? read more

Came in for dinner, saw only two cars in parking lot...thinking my family of 5 could get a table at 7:30pm on a Friday night. Hostess said it'd be 20 minute wait, they had open tables everywhere. We waited 20, then 30 minute. Weird, had a full staff of cooks, online order takers, hostess, but only 2 waitresses. It got awkward cause they started looking at us, like they were surprised we were going to continue to wait. We got the hint..we left after we saw a group of three whispering to each other, then looking over at us. It was like they wanted us to leave. Dirty, dirty, filthy. Seriously, this location needs to good steam clean. Everything is sticky and greasy. I have dined in other local establishments and witnessed the employees methodically scrubbing down the tables and chairs and thought perhaps that should take place before the restaurant opens or after hours. This super filthy Bob Evans location has completely changed my opinion on cleaning during open hours. I ate here because it was the choice of others I wished to dine with. If it were up to me I would never visit another Bob Evans restaurant. The food is mediocre and expensive. The waitress was attentive but extremely loud. My girlfriend and I ordered pickup. I got the food and brought it home. They messed up my girlfriends sandwich. I ordered chicken strip meal with mashed potaatos and gravy. I wanted corn but all they had was corn with peppers and some kind of glaze on it. We ordered coleslaw. We got 2 very small styraphome cups that were only half full. Not a good sign when you stand at sign saying wait to be seated with staff walking by ignoring you completely. This went on so long I finally caught the eye of lady behind counter and asked if I could sit anywhere. Just then the "hostess" came up and said, "Just hold on - I'm here, I'm here." (and not in a nice way) Ordered coffee with cream first, but when it was served, no silverware and nothing to stir with. Took too long to find waitress again and finally asked a lady bussing tables nearby for silverware. Again - not a good sign of things to come. I drank a whole cup with no refill brought before the food arrived and by the time that finally came, all I can say is it was certainly not worth the wait. To top it all off, the refill cup of coffee was cold! I ordered bacon "crisp" and to the cook that meant "burnt." I know this is not touted as "fast food" per se, but still - it really took quite a while given that it was not rush hour and the place wasn't really that crowded. From entry to exit for one of their "quick" breakfast items being about an hour was excessive to me. No more Bob Evans for me - or at least for definite sure not this location! read more

This chain is similar in price range, menu, and style to a Denny's, IHOP, etc. But I find Bob Evans to be quite good. Maybe it is because I grew up on it. But even when I go home (or somewhere in the Midwest like Michigan), I still always stop by and leave satisfied. The best part of Bob Evans is the breakfast--which is good and very reasonably priced (I don't care for the tasteless pancakes though, but I've heard they have gotten better). For breakfast, it is all about the Biscuits with Sausage Gravy. For lunch/dinner, I go for the boneless fried chicken with gravy. read more

On Friday night around 9 pm me and my husband went to your location on western ave and ordered chicken noodle soup and rolls. It took the servers 45 min to get the soup, it was severed ice cold and we only got one drink refill after I chased down the server. Other people who came in got free rolls and was served way faster than me and my husband. It was the worst time we ever had at a restaurant. The soup was re-served only barely warm and the rolls were under-cooked and raw in the middle. We loved going to Bob Evans and now I guess we won't be back and tell our friends to avoid the store. read more

This place is absolute trash. It used to be good but now this ain't it. The potatoes were so under cooked it tasted like earth! I could taste the plant of the potato in my mouth. I got the crepes and they were so under cooked the batter was spilling out. And the sausage tasted so squishy like a sponge I can't describe it and the pancakes felt so weird it took 45 minutes to even get our food and it was not worth it the only good thing that they had was soda pop! I don't think it's open anymore. This place has lots of coffee so that when you order, you at least get your share of coffee. When I was forced to be here I'd already stopped eating meat a while ago. My meal was cafeteria lettuce, cheese and carrot juliennes. This was their veggie salad. This salad was watery. I give them 2 stars because this food product appeared to be washed. Ordered garden salads and a loaf of blueberry Bread The chicken noodles were not hot The blueberry Bread taste like it was burnt. This was just not a good carry out order.
