Caramel apple French toast
Leah S.

This weekend I went camping with my friends for the first time. We went to a place called lake farm and it was amazing. When we first got there we set up camp and went on a little hike (burn the quads) then went swimming (treading water and burning the core) and then had a nice fire and went to sleep under the stars with mosquitos humming night songs in our ears. We woke up early morning to the beautiful sun and went on another little hike enjoying the wildflowers and plants. It is safe to say we were hungry by the time we arrived at this Bob Evans location, and both Bob and Evan did not let us down. Do not get an iced coffee but other than that tasty food. I was transformed by the caramel apple French toast.

Booths and individual menus.

Employees were very friendly, food was tasty & restaurant was clean. They have put up dividers between the booths, spread out tables and I observed the manager doing an amazing job of cleaning the booths. We felt very safe during our visit.

My country fried steak and eggs / French toast.

Went to this Bob Evans a few times and never had a bad meal. The food comes out timely and the waiters are always keeping up with drinks and anything else you need. I can't really review on the lunch and dinner combos due to the fact I always get breakfast items! But.. All there breakfast food is so good.. I don't expect anyone else to go to Bob Evans and get anything but breakfast.. Totally what there known for. They recently did a remodel of this location so I would go check it out! Never disappointed.

Looks better than it tasted.

Yawn... Another…read morecorporate bruch spot that over promises, under delivers, and seems proud of it. Dry and NOT flaky biscuits. Sausage gravy that tastes heavily of flour. Maybe it was because it was 11am? Who knows. What I do know is that Pillsbury makes better biscuits. Order at the counter, they bring you your food. Dirty tables. Lots of staff. No real excuse. Save your money and hit up First Watch, Wild Eggs, or even Sleepy Bee (with some trepidation). At least you get table service and servings worthy of the cost. Maybe it was a bad day? Maybe they've only been open a short while? Who knows. We won't be back.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn't your average breakfast joint. Their {unique-feature} - let's call it the palpable sense of genuine Southern hospitality mixed with a modern, quirky vibe - immediately sets the stage. It's like your cool grandma's kitchen, but with better coffee (more on that later!). But let's talk about the star of the show: the Biscuits n' Gravy. Oh. My. Goodness. Forget everything you think you know about this Southern staple. This was next-level comfort food. The biscuit itself was perfectly fluffy on the inside, slightly crisp on the outside, and had that subtle buttermilk tang that just makes your soul sing. And the gravy? Forget the bland, floury stuff you get at some places. This was a country gravy, rich, savory, and clearly made with love. The flavors were so spot-on, so perfectly balanced, that when the manager asked how I was enjoying my meal, I practically gushed about the flavor profile! He proudly explained that they make it fresh, on-site, every single day. Amazing. Seriously, I even asked for more gravy (and I'm not ashamed!). The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The welcoming atmosphere is the real deal. It's not just about saying "hello"; it's about making you feel like you're part of the Maple Street family. It's the kind of place where you instantly relax and feel comfortable lingering over your coffee (which, by the way, they have a whole coffee bar with assorted flavors!). The excellent service just seals the deal. From the friendly cashier to the attentive staff refilling my coffee, everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and eager to make my experience a great one. The manager, especially, was incredibly nice and clearly takes pride in his team and the food they're serving. It's clear they've cultivated a positive and supportive work environment, and that translates directly into the customer experience. For the price, Maple Street Biscuit Company is an absolute steal. Whether you're a couple looking for a cozy brunch spot, a family needing a satisfying and affordable meal, or a die-hard food enthusiast searching for the perfect biscuit, this place delivers. Trust me, folks, this isn't just breakfast; it's an experience. Go. Now. You won't regret it.

We were seated quickly on a Saturday afternoon after attending the New Richmond pride event. Ashlee, our server, was friendly and vivacious and made us feel like we were right at home, despite it being our first time. I got the crab cakes (a weird thing to get I guess but I love crab cakes!). They had no right to be as good as they are at that low price. I also enjoyed the sweet potato fries and Diet Mountain Dew (here's the thing, restaurants with Pepsi - if you're going to disappoint me with Diet Pepsi, at least have Diet Dew to save the day. But I digress). It's a ways out of the way but totally worth it to enjoy the cute town of New Richmond, a view of the river, excellent service, and delicious, affordable food. What are you waiting for?

It comes in two sizes and you have a choice of sauces. My grandson ordered the Grilled Mac'n Cheese with Waffle Fries - from the kids menu. My son ordered the Country Fried Steak with the Mac n Cheese and Rustic Mashed Potatoes. I ordered the Cuban Panini and a side salad. My son and I liked the pulled pork nachos appetizer quite a bit. We didn't leave a bite behind! My grandson liked his meal. My son liked most of his. He said the mac-n-cheese wasn't very good at all. My cuban panini was yummy. My son tried it, liked it and said he'd order it. The salad was fresh and I enjoyed it. My son looked at it and said, "You know I hate salad but that looks so good that I'd eat it." He didn't though. He still hates salad.
