We bought our Beneteau Oceanis 381 from Prestige a couple of years ago, and the purchasing process was amazing from start to finish. The Prestige team (led by Tom Pilkington) was courteous, professional, patient - overall Tom is a gentleman to deal with. There were no surprises, and any issues that needed to be dealt with were quickly taken care of. Since then they have reliably and responsively helped me with any troubleshooting or servicing issues that have come up - they even made a "housecall" to my home marina in Westport this past week to help with an electrical issue, that they quickly resolved for me (shout out to Peter who is a great guy and a master mechanic!). My first review was too long, basically a professional mechanic that's willing to work on outdated…read moreinboards is tough to find so Scott gets credit for taking on the job I bought I bought a boat from a guy based off of phone conversation so I'm lucky I was able to start it and drive away. Barely the boat had major issues was actually in danger of sinking thank good Scott fixed all the bilge pumps and checked everything but there's some issues. They're just too much like a pitted rusted after cooler that eventually linked frozen seacock was never serviced with my fault for not checking service records. If ever buy an old boat make sure those service records are complete. Make sure they change that impellers and the bolts have all been lubricated especially seacock. The saltwater flushing for those engines and if it gets stuck in there the engine could get ruined quickly. This place had a lot of parts and it didn't they'd find it for you. They were very expensive but basically it comes to this : unless your a multi. Multi-millionaire not just a millionaire a multi-millionaire don't buy a boat unless you can fix everything yourself because a million bucks isn't going to save you

In each instance he went way above and beyond the call of duty, having key parts shipped overnight from the factory and, in one instance, having one of his team install the part immediately at his facility, and in the other, many miles away, finding the right guy to do it and arranging for him to do it promptly where I was. In each of these two instances Scott was utterly responsive, fair in his pricing, and easy to work with. I'm grateful for how he helped me in tough spots, and I recommend him highly.

Had the craziest interaction at Dodson's boatyard this morning . Pulled in to the dock to gas up…read moreand we were told we would have to move to the other side. No problem....we moved the boat to the other side of the dock. A young man came out and said he couldn't sell us gas but wouldn't say why. He finally said there is a 20 gallon minimum so we said ok but he still refused to sell it to us . When we asked to speak to the manager ,he laughed and call someone else to come out side. She told us we had to wait in the harbor until someone else decided to leave and insisted the young man had said the same thing. No one at the dock was getting gas so I guess we would have had to wait until someone decided to leave.Fortunately we were able to go to Noank Boatyard and receive kind,excellent service at a cheaper price. Dodson's was rude and we will never get gas there again!
