Visited this restaurant for dinner on New Year's Eve. There was a huge waitlist and they stopped adding people to the list more than 1.5 hours before the kitchen closes. So arrive early and be prepared to wait or figure out a way to make a reservation. For appetizers, I ordered the guava flavored chicken wings and mahi fish tacos. Guava flavored chicken wings was an unexpected winner amongst everything I had here. The sauce was delicious. The mahi fish tacos were pretty loaded but lacked flavor. The fish wasn't cooked properly. The tacos were a letdown. For entree, I ordered the tuna fish tacos with peanut sesame slaw and coconut mahi curry. The tuna fish tacos weren't great, the tuna was extremely chewy but the peanut sauce was quite good. The coconut mahi curry came with a generous side of sauted zucchini, carrots and onions which was a delight. There wasn't anything more exciting to talk about in the dish. On the other hand, their service was great and the food arrived pretty quickly. The live band for New Year's eve was simply amazing. Their energy was incredible and it was clear, this was a favorite among locals who came in later to dance. The atmosphere was fun and lively, perfect way to call in the New Year. This restaurant seemed more suitable if you want to enjoy the vibe with some drinks overlooking the beach but the not for the food.

You really can't beat the view from the outside seating of this restaurant. The ceviche was excellent. The piña colada was just OK. It was good to have a break from Cuban food.

Excellent view of the ocean. Service was great and food was awesome. Tuna bites and guava wings are fantastic. Ice cold bucket of Medalla Light. A must go when visiting Puerto Rico.

This was our first time here. Located just across the street from the beach. The biggest challenge? Parking. Even on a Tuesday night. But that's Puerto Rican culture. Everyone is out for a good time. There was plenty of seating whether inside or out. How could you not want to sit and watch the ocean waves. Plus it was easy to see our waiter enjoyed his job. We ordered drinks, me with the Magna lager, my first time trying it. I'm not usually a beer guy but this I enjoyed...enough to have a few more. My girlfriend had to try the coco mofongo. Talk about perfect. Might have been the best one I've had in years. We ordered the jalapeño poppers filled with cream cheese. I could not have made them any better and there was plenty for 2 people. My entree was the blue burger and she had the tuna tacos with peanut sauce. The great thing about this place is that you never feel rushed. That's the bonus. You get to enjoy the atmosphere and the view. The food was outstanding and we already have plans on coming back. Put Boardriders on your list of places to visit. Guarantee you'll be thanking me for this hidden gem. Just remember, parking is the challenge.

Great very laid back little place right on the water. We were looking for something on our first night in Luquillo and this hit the spot. Burgers, wraps, salads, etc. It was good for kids and also many vegetarians options. A mix of tourists and locals. Nice service, and also very well priced. read more

We decided to give this place a try since we were staying so close. The view from our table of the water and surfers was wonderful. Service was very good and on the spot. Price was reasonable however the food, although good, was just the usual type of food that you would get stateside. Nothing spectacular. read more

Must try the onion rings!!! Hand breaded. Amazing. The tuna bites were a great app. Also had the hummus. The pina colada was very creamy. Ocean lab beers. Beautiful view in second story balcony. Our server was so nice. Great spot! read more

If the service was quicker this place would earn a 5! Our server was slow to take our order. We ran out of drinks and needed ice. We had to find him to get our check. Now for the positive. The location is awesome. It sits right on the beach with a view that is unmatched. The dining area was open air and the ocean breeze provided a constant movement of air that made it very comfortable. I ordered the mahi fish tacos. They were wonderful. They were served on a platter with five flour shells, corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, fresh guacamole, and pico. My wife got the mahi wraps. She complimented them several times. The prices were decent. I am very glad that I decided to give this place a try! read more

We called and requested a reservation for 6 adults and 4 kids and they were nice enough to accommodate. We arrived 10 minutes late and found a great pair of tables upstairs waiting for our families. All good was fresh, made to order, and drinks were quick, had a decent "zip" to them and Isaac was great taking our orders and delivering our food fresh and hot and drinks cold. Overall this was an amazing night out while on vacay and we all appreciated the hospitality. This is 5 stars all the way because they met our every need and the food was as described. This is not Michelin star but that is also not what they claim to be. Thank you all and we will surely be back. $4 margarita Monday was nice too!!! read more

This restaurant is terrible. Service sucks and was sooo slow. It wasn't even that busy and our server forgot to bring our us drinks, walked by our table 5-6 times before getting our initially drink order and finally brought us our rum and coke watered down. The atmosphere was cool and the view was nice so we thought this place would be awesome. We were beyond disappointed and will never come here again. I will say my burger was very good and that's the only reason I didn't give them 1 star. Still not worth waiting over 45 min for a burger. read more

Prob one of the trendier places in Luquillo beach right on the water by the condo towers. The atmosphere is really nice and decoration give a good beach vibe. We sat outside when we went here and stayed for a few hours chatting away. Overall the menu is a great selection, something for everyone. I got the walnut cranberry salad and my husband got ribs which he said were delicious. Our waiter was great too, kept checking in, friendly and accommodating. Regarding price ~ extremely reasonable! Definitely check this place out and if you can I'd say go for dinner to watch the sunset over the beach! read more

The Guava chicken wings are off the chain! These guys do the wings right and that guava BBQ sauce hits the spot. I would only order that off the menu and get some drinks. All the other food is good, but nothing to write home about. read more

Honestly-- the food is ok depending on who is cooking. The loaded wedges, sandwiches and burgers are great for lunch and with a cold beer, but that's not the reason to go!!! They make up for the food with a great view, cool vibe, good and friendly service, and staff that notices regulars and makes you feel like welcome and appreciated. They get great live music and Playarte the first Friday of the month is a real contribution to Luquillo. They are a social hub that has brought me back time after time for years. They hold a special place in my heart. read more

This place was amazing. Couldn't ask for anything better. Gorgeous view and tasty food without breaking the bank. And some of the best customer service. I had the tuna bites which were so freaking good along with Mahi tacos and loaded wedges. I'll definitely be back whenever I am In town I'm so happy I made it there but also upset because it's my last day here so I can't try more stuff! Until next time. read more

Fantastic place to have a killer coconut mojito at a restaurant with one of the coolest vibes in the whole Luquillo area. Nice food, great drinks, awesome views from the patio. This place is your idea of an American surfer bar in the middle of Luquillo. They also have live music several nights a week. Highly recommended! read more

Great bar by the beach. We were looking for good, inexpensive food by the water and found it here. This place is very American, but has an island feel. Bob Marley on the speakers, fish tacos on the table, and a Painkiller in my glass - what more could you ask for? Great burgers and fish tacos. Wings were alright. Magnificent food and even better views! Loved being able to watch surfers ride the waves while enjoying some yummy tuna bites and a churrasco and pesto aioli sandwich. Friendly locals created such an inviting atmosphere and I wish we had made it into this place sooner read more

This place has a great vibe. I'd been before, about a year and a half ago, and I swear the same people were at the same tables, obviously regulars. It's sort of a mix of hipster and senior hippies, clearly locals who enjoy the beach and the surf. While eating, you can watch surfers catching waves. This is a joint, we're not talking high-end food and drinks. But guava glazed baby back ribs, excellent. Giant burgers cooked and accompanied as you wish. Great sides - typical for this type of place. How about a guava jalapeño margarita? A variety of creative cocktails and beers are available. Outdoor dining upstairs and street level. If you're in the area, have some time, and are hungry this is a nice place to enjoy an afternoon meal. read more

The rice was well seasoned and perfectly cooked texture. Server was enthusiastic about the food and providing suggestions. Though I suspect everything on the menu is delicious. We came here on our last day in PR and we were bummed we didn't come here sooner! Its right across from the beach, the staff was super friendly, and everyone seemed to know each other. They had craft beers and awesome food. Their prices are great and portions are good. We ordered the tuna bites and house salad and we loved the tuna so much we ended up getting another order. Cool place and awesome food! Tuesdays they have a fish tacos special. Happy hour is from 5pm to 7pm. Ordered a coconut mojito that rocked! Our waiter Oscar was wicked nice! Playing raggae music; Bob Marley, Matis Yahu, Sublime, etc. right in front of the beach. Definitely coming back! read more
