After several unsuccessful attempts to find someone knowledgeable and reliable to complete our home, we were lucky to find Alex and his team. Alex was very responsive to texts, email, or calls with any questions or concerns. He came by every day to check in as the scope of work was extensive. His team demo'ed a wall and replaced the handrails, stair treads, risers, and balusters on our both of our staircases. After 12 full days of work, we finally achieved the look and finish we wanted! While we're taking a pause on more renovation projects for a few months, Alex will be my first call when we get back underway. Photos include before and after shots - enjoy!

They educated me in places where DIY went wrong and were patient. The work was done right the first time with little back and forth and the men were very professional. Ray and Sergio were the best! I had the guys come in for maintenance of the home. This meant re-caulking around tubs and sinks, hanging a chandelier and repairing the kitchen ceiling from a previous leak upstairs. The guys took their time and removed old caulk and materials, leaving me with straight lines, clean caulking and a new chandelier hung in one of the rooms. I am so happy this job didn't take all day and was done with great professionalism that I've already booked more work with them!! Thank you Jay and Sergio for your patience and efforts today!

Reynaldo gave me a call immediately and set up an appointment with me next day. After taking measurements he gave me a fair range and then said he would get back to me with the exact price. We have had many quotes for this door installation and RM Construction was not only a fair and honest price, but the work was done quickly and to perfection! Reynaldo's crew worked very fast and left everything extremely clean. I would highly recommend this company and will be using them again in the future!

Peter worked around our budget along the way and provided us with recommendations and solutions to meet both our vision and budget. We did not hire a designer, however working with Peter, who is also an artist, to design our kitchen and bathrooms was extremely helpful. The crew, lead by Giovanni, were great, respectful, patient with us, and had a great attention to details. The craftsmanship was on point and exactly what we envisioned. The total cost was extremely reasonable for the scope of work we had done, which included, but not limited to; refinishing the hardwood floors throughout our home, two wall removals to open up our kitchen and foyer areas, refurbishing and refinishing our staircase with new balusters and knoll posts, four bathroom remodel (including our master bathroom), refurbishing and painting the basement bar, expanded kitchen remodel, and painting of all walls, doors (with new hardware replacement), trim, and all shutter blinds. I had an ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience with Dave Friedlander of Dave's Floor and More. It was one…read moreof the worst interactions I have had with another person in my entire life. I hired Dave to complete a straightforward renovation of an unoccupied, mostly-empty, one-bedroom condominium. It felt like a slow-moving train wreck that lasted for four months. I made a serious mistake by hiring Dave's Floor and More. I compounded it by giving Dave grace - and a second chance - when things went wrong pretty much straight out of the gate. The gesture was not reciprocated. I should have heeded the red flags and fired Dave's Floor and More immediately. I have thousands of dollars in additional costs needed to rectify issues that occurred during this reno. Dave states that he stands by his work. He did stand by some of his work. However, I am holding the bag for the rest of it. I don't think that qualifies as "standing by your work." I reached out to Dave numerous times, in multiple ways, for him to somehow make good on this mess. I gave him plenty of time and plenty of latitude to resolve things. Dave has not done so to any satisfactory degree - not even close. Based on my experience with him, it seems to me that Dave Friedlander of Dave's Floor and More simply does not care about harm to another person's property and finances. It makes my skin crawl when I think about how he behaved.

They closed all the holes in the walls (no more air coming in) where the old convectors were located; they repaired the flooring so that it looked seamless; and they installed baseboards to mask the gaps left by the new convectors, which were a slightly different size than the previous ones. (The convectors were installed by a different company, so they coordinated with them nicely). They also installed a brand-new lighting fixture on the bedroom ceiling (lots of concrete drilling involved), hung a metal shelf in the bathroom, and closed all the holes in the kitchen left by the previous contractor when the kitchen was remodeled. My husband and I have been taking our time remodeling our home and it was finally time to tackle…read morethe master bathroom. We wanted to make our shower bigger and replace our built-in tub for a stand alone tub. We contacted 3 companies for an estimate. One contractor flaked and called the morning of the appointment saying he couldn't make it. He suggested we do a zoom consultation. When I asked how he would get the measurements, he said it was "just" a bathroom and he didn't intend on doing sketches anyways. His condescension made me cancel everything with him. The second contractors was nice, but had a high estimate, then suggested we purchase low end materials to save on the cost. He gave us the estimate right away, then pressured us to accept it right then. He offered a $1K discount if we agreed before he left, but what's $1K on a $32K price tag,so we told him we had 1 more contractor to meet with. And then there was Mr. Luis. He came in with a smile, removed his shoes and actually listened to all my concerns about my current bathroom and my dreams about my future one. He took his measurements and then repeated back the things I said I really wanted. There was no pressure and he said he would contact me in a few days with an estimate. It took him about 4 days to get back to me. Not only was his estimate significantly less, but it also came with a computer generated rendition of my bathroom space from multiple angles. I had sent him some tile patterns I liked, and he had them in the image, so I could really visualize my new bathroom. He did the rendition 2 more times with different tile patterns I sent him to help me choose the one I really liked. I also want to note that he could've easily charged more because I told him I thought it was going to cost $40K when he came to do the estimate, but he still gave me his honest price. We set a date for work to start after I paid a 33% deposit. His team, led by Mr. Wilson, were punctual and really respected my home. They draped wherever they needed to walk and they walled off my bedroom with plastic so dust and debris wouldn't get all over my living space. Mr. Wilson answered all my questions and kept me updated on everything being done each day. He assisted me in buying some of my products. His team kept everything very tidy when they left each day. He was a dream from start to finish. The 2nd deposit was due when the tile install began. Mr. Carlos did all of the tiling himself. He gave his professional opinion about the tile I chose for the shower floor, which led me to use the same tile as the shower walls and honestly, I like it better. The bathroom was completed in 2 weeks. The last deposit is due upon completion. When all the work was done, they polished and cleaned the entire bathroom AND several surfaces in my bedroom. They wiped down and dusted the TV stand and fireplace (both in the sitting area outside of the bathroom). They had only gotten a small amount of dust on them from the construction, so I just planned to dust when they were finished, but they did it for me without me asking. They also wiped down the bannister as they exited. As a mom of 3 kids under 5, I appreciated that more than they know. I've had people work in my house before who were neat, but I have never had a team clean up after themselves as thoroughly as this one. I'd also like to mention his office manager, Ms. Gigi, handled the administrative side seamlessly. She also answered all of my emails promptly. I absolutely LOVE my new bathroom and I will definitely use them for projects in the future. Anyone looking for honest and skillful contractors should use this company.
