He then wanted to ask me why I would want a second key. 7 o'clock at night during the dinner hour he asked if I could speak I said briefly. We had left a message yesterday. Why he would want me to have to explain and like make a case for why I would want to key was quite surprising. Then he said he didn't need all that detail. Have you ever felt like you've just been punked?! Then he rattled off the cost which he could've done immediately especially when I told him I only had a minute. He was then like are we done and I said well since you're my service manager I'd like to have a new service manager. He promptly hung up. I don't know what's going on with him but Service is not what he should be doing right now. It can be trying times for people with or without Covid. There should be a little grace and he was very short with me. I even brought up the point of this , But it obviously didn't get through. Thus, after trying to work things out with him and he clearly doesn't seem to care, I feel it is my duty to share my experience. Hopefully my situation with him was just a one off but when someone says they only have a minute and would like the information you don't come back at them trying to get them to justify why they would want to purchase a second key for the car they own. !! read more

Came in to look at a car. Wanted some assistance and asked one of the secretary up front named Riley for some help. the guy was just plan rude almost stand offish from the beginning. He showed us where the car didn't even help us get in contact with a salesperson. We eventually just left. Weird vibe. read more

Brought car in for 10:45a appointment. They said oil changes take 90 minutes or less. I didn't get car back for well over this time. And then tried to pay they tell me they have no cash. Took another 20 minutes for him to find cash. Front desk staff were not knowledgeable of general service. I asked questions like whats the avg price for v6 engine. They didn't know... honestly will drive farther to go to bmw nw in fife where i have had a far better experience. I went to get my rear brakes done and there's still squeaking. I texted the repair person and they had an auto reply to text someone else. Don't you think you should at least reply. It just tells me that you wanted my money and didn't want to take responsibility for the shitty work done. I'm afraid now that you guys probably didn't change my oil correctly. I wouldn't go here to get work done. Maybe buy the parts but take it elsewhere. My trust in this place is gone. The time before this last time I was here, I got new tires from them and the tpms was being crazy. They kept telling me to drive it off and I did and kept coming back. They've eventually fixed it but was a hassle eating my time. They don't complete their work thoroughly and just rush it. Also, Please put the stuff back where it belongs when you're done. I saw the Google reviews but figured that since this location on Airport Way was closest, I would give it a chance and I really wanted to get down to the bottom of why my check engine light was on. I arrived to drop my car off by my scheduled appointment time at 11:30a and did not have to sit in the waiting room for long. Right before 12p Andrew called my name, we walked to his desk and I shared that when running a diagnostic on the car, the mass air flow sensor code came up but I had removed and and cleaned it on my own which made the check engine light go off for most of the day before it popped back on. He shared the price for them inspecting my car, had me sign their documentation, sent me a text that I could use to ask questions and sent me on my way to get my Uber credit. I made my way home and heard nothing back but it was a little before 4p. So I text and heard back from him a little before 4:15p saying that his initial text message for me to pick up my car did not go through. I made my way there by 5p and when I got to the front desk they asked me to pay but no one told me what was done to my car or what came back on the inspection report. The front desk confirmed that Andrew was responsible for conveying that information. So I asked the front desk if I could go see Andrew myself. I did and he fast talked his way through the issue and said oil was found somewhere and needed to be cleaned and something was resealed. I read the paperwork and it says oil was found near the crank case ventilator. t Andrew 1. Had terrible customer service and 2. Intentionally did not/ completely forgot to text and tell me that my car was ready. Something about him was off. I just can't put my finger on it. Overall, my check engine light has not come back on and THAT is what I needed but I will not be going back to that location. read more

I needed to get a tow hitch installed on my BMW X5. I took it into the service center located next door to the showroom. They were nice but I was disappointed that they damaged my car in the process. They said they didn't do it but I look at my car everyday and I know for certain that the dent and those paint scratches were not there the morning I took my car in. Then they tried to argue with me saying they have video proof that the scratches were there before. I doubt it and for all I know, the technician could have taken the video after the damage was done to show that the damage was there before. I just felt creeped out and slimy from speaking with them. I guess I would have expected this from a regular car dealership, but from BMW? I was really shocked that they would be that way. It kind of creeped me out. You don't have to believe me, but if you have the choice, I would go somewhere else. Bellevue also has a BMW dealer so maybe you can try there. This review is for the service center: We bought our bmw with 15k miles on it, one previous owner. The chassis destabilization warnings went off one day and the car went into limp mode. First experience with bmw Seattle, but they were willing to fix the issues under the warranty even though it was about to expire. Took it in- they said it was the battery, not covered under warranty which is fine. They decided to upgrade the software at the same time, broke the whole system, and the car had to stay there for an additional 2 weeks while they waited for the part. Not a huge deal since we had a loaner that was nice and big enough for all of us. $600+ For the battery and on the way home, chassis destabilization warnings go off and the car is in limp mode. Back to the shop it goes. They do another inspection and many, many days later they call to let us know that the 'steering harness' has been damaged and taped. Normally, this would be a covered part since the line was a known issue with this type of car. But for some reason the previous owner, while their car was under warranty and bmw offering a free repair for a known issue, decided to electrical tape it instead, not easy to do btw- and it's no longer covered. Now it's an $1800 fix, so we ask for pictures of the damage. Something seems off, but we've now not had our car for a couple of months (no one was forthcoming or getting back to us, especially when asking them for the proof on the line) and just want the ordeal over with. We do ask that they drive the vehicle for an extended time after the replacement, make sure it doesn't happen again. Finally we get the car back, get it in the driveway, and notice that both front bumpers have been damaged and the rim on the passenger front is chewed up. Someone obviously hit it into something, we contact the shop again, and they say that video proof of it being driven away and no scratches are seen. This we can check out for ourselves with the manager by driving back down there during business hours. So on top of $2500 repair, 2 months + without our car, a super fishy steering harness (they gave it to us, a chunk has been very obviously cut out, completely untape-able), the car is damaged and we of course did that ourselves on the way home? On both sides. Our car was pristine when we dropped it with them. Wish we had gone anywhere else. We will be complaining to bmw and bbb, because that's just bad business. So, I was having such a great experience with BMW of Seattle. The process was smooth, even fun. I got to select all the options I wanted, and the car even arrived sooner than promised. What's more, they gave me a fair price on my trade in, and generally made the transaction easy. I received the car, and it is a fantastic ride. But here is the problem - getting my registration. I emailed my sales guy a couple weeks ago, asking when I could expect the registration - Copied below. I asked him to mail it to me; it doesn't make sense for me to burn an hour of my day to drive over there. Unfortunately have to downgrade this review to a 1-star, or less. Had the most difficult time getting my starter replaced, and had to fight against over $200 of fraudulent/faulty charges and the service advisor totally treated me like some a$$hole while I am just trying to get a fair shake. The arrogance and incompetence of this dealership is so high that I am at a loss for words right now. Argument was about whether or not I needed to pay a $200-300 "core deposit" for getting my starter replaced. The way it works is that if you buy a new starter from the parts department, and replace it yourself, then you have to pay this deposit and get the money back later. Well I was getting the existing starter replaced, BMW was keeping the old parts, so obviously I should not have to pay. And that's fine - but having to argue (and I mean really ARGUE) the point with a service advisor who was pushing me to pay the whole bill - well that is just BS. AND to add insult to injury - I walked across the street yo talk to the sales manager and I told him that I plan to buy two new BMWs - likely an X3M40 and a 240i but that I have had several bad experiences with the service group - and his answer was - "ok, we get that a lot, sorry, but there are other dealers to work with if you are not happy here" ... OK - MESSAGE RECEIVED!!!! Good luck to anybody still working with this dealership! - if you actually care about money then you should check and question EVERY charge on your bill. What I didn't say was that they charged me almost $1K to replace the starter which equates to about 6+ hours of work while there are YouTube videos that should it came be done in 30-min. This review os for the Service Department, not the Sales Department. (Sales was great to deal with.) Shannon (the service manager) replies to negative reviews here - sounding totally concerned and willing to help. This is just "theatre" in an attempt damage control. Some of the staff here is completely dishonest. BMW Seattle thought they would get away with driving a customer's car over 200 miles (kept saying it was waiting for a part for over two-and-a-half months - ?!), and when I brought up the added mileage, Shannon actually admitted to 25 of the 200+ added miles, and claimed 25 miles was a "reasonable amount for a test drive." Then he accused me of waiting a month to post the photo showing they put on over 200 miles, when they KNOW that isn't true. The photo was taken just after I picked up the car, and I tried to give them a chance to remediate the situation before posting the negative review. Instead, they doubled-down. The hash/metadata on my photos shows when they were taken, and Shannon offered photos which were taken before they put the majority of miles on my car, claiming this was proof that they couldn't possibly have put miles on the car - absolutely ridiculous. I took my car back in to have the items fixed that were broken while they had my car. Shannon was intimidating, accusing me of putting mileage on the car when I was stuck at home with a sick kid. I felt intimidated enough to walk inside where there were other customers, and Shannon completely changed his demeanor and started speaking very softly. Then he tried to get me to go into his office, whereby I politely declined and told him I felt safer out in the open. Shannon handed me a $600 check today stating it was "overpayment from [my] insurance company," but he refused provide any written itemization explaining this, or any further explanation as to how this was an overpayment. My insurance company adjuster told me today that the payment they submitted to BMW Seattle reflects the amount of their estimate, so she was really confused. Again, no explanation for the $600 check he handed me. Completely unprofessional, bullying affect, and arrogance. Read the other reviews - the service department treats a lot of customers in an arrogant manner, damages property, refuses to take accountability, verbally berates and lies to customers, and is just generally terrible to deal with. read more

This is probably my least favorite dealership and the service department was unfriendly + unprofessional. Brought my car here for regular service a few months back and the technician informed us there's a puncture on the passenger side rear tire. BMW Seattle quickly patched the tire but we are observing gradual tire pressures drop every week and eventually the low tire pressure alarm fired. Texted the store twice and called them multiple times but couldn't get any response. Visited the store in person and it's all downhill from there. 1. We were told the tire is no longer patchable and we received a quote of 1200 dollars to replace all four tires. 2. 30 minutes later. We were told the tire is not patchable but BMW can try to patch it again. 3. 1 hour later we were told BMW Seattle can help with replacing just one tire for 200 dollars. 4. 30 minutes later, we were told the tire is not leaking at all and it's perfectly safe to drive on the road. With all the contradicting theories from BMW Seattle and drastically different quotes from the service department, we've decided to steer away from this Dealership and find a real professional to reassess the situation. The folks at BMW Seattle know how customer service works, and I'm happy to tell you why. I bought a new car about 3 weeks ago and a week into having it I noticed there was an issue with the sunroof. I took it in right away and they assessed that it needed a new seals which they soon found out they had to order from Germany because there wasn't any in the US. The first order came in damaged and so they ordered and second set. By now my car had been there for over a week (in the shop longer than not for the amount of time I've owned it). I began to be concerned by the length of time and if they'd actually be able to repair it, plus the car was new so I was feeling uneasy about the fact that my new car was in the shop so long... was this the start of a lot of problems? Well, the general manager was concerned too and called me after I sent an email explaining my worries and he let me know he's very sorry and the car would be done by the next day. I appreciated the call, but that was just the start of their exceptional customer service. Not only was it done the next day, but they offered to deliver the car to me instead of me having to go pick it up. He also said he was going to look into remuneration from BMW, and I've been told I'll be getting a check for a half months car payment. The experience went from me be worried to feeling assured that they care about my uneasiness and wanted to make it right. I should be hearing about remuneration soon, but BMW Seattle really knows how to take care of their customers. They went above and beyond what was expected and they've won over a customer for life. They also had given me a loaner car the entire time. It's been a great customer service experience and I highly recommend BMW Seattle. Don't go to an Auto Nation store... My first BMW had an issue a couple weeks out of warranty, instead of charging me for the repair, the service advisor got the factory to cover the cost, minus 5%. More recently, I had a service indicator light come on. I went to BMW Bellevue and was quoted over $3,000 to get my car up-to-date. I decided to go to BMW Seattle, and asked the exact same question. I was quoted $300 dollars or so to service that was NEEDED. I was told that I didn't need the "70,000 mile service" that the Bellevue location told me I should get. At only 53000 miles we are replacing our BMW X3 with a Toyota. We bought this car brand new and took extremely good care of it but it is a lemon. I suspect the EGR cooler recall wasn't done early enough to save my car. Do not buy a modern German diesel. They optimize for gas mileage with a design that inevitably destroys your engine. We took our car to a couple different diesel specialists and found out we should have been cleaning the diesel system. Now it's too late. Don't buy a BMW. Definitely don't get your car serviced by a dealership. If you have a diesel BMW, take it to a specialist and consider getting a carbon clean. BMW not going past 53000 miles is a joke. read more

This dealership and service are deplorable. Impossible to talk to a live person now to schedule service appoint. Phone system is in loop. I've had two prior experiences with this dealership - both times communication is awful - calls never returned. They encourage texting but the service advisors never respond in a timely manner. All these new automated processes are to save the dealership money under the guise of providing better service. Done - never going back to this business. read more

One of the worst post-sales experiences I have ever had. We purchased a brand new vehicle from out of state; we were assured by the sales person this was not a big deal and everything would be handled. We were transferring plates and brought them up with us, as we were pretty familiar with plate transferring- even after asking if they needed a photo of said plates, they did not confirm or reject the notion. We get transferred to the finance gal after the car came, and this is where things start going downhill. After signing the papers- seeing the line item that says "transfer," we assumed everything was being handled. Asked her if she needed a photo of the plate being transferred, and she took one on her cell phone after commenting on the personalization. They take a pretty huge deposit up front, promising to refund the rest after DMV processing. Weeks go by and new plates show up in the mail with 4 year tags. Like a $500 expense, when a plate transfer was $6. Start emailing and not only does the finance gal insinuate "we imagined the interaction about the plate and the picture," we never got our money back. Asked them to pull surveillance footage of the interaction, because it sure did happen. Long email chains, no resolution. At one point, it seems they forgot the whole issue... and it still remains forgotten. They even had the gall to throw their sales guy (who was great) under the bus. If you dare to deal with these folks, especially when completing paperwork - get everything in writing. Never again, and I will not recommend this dealership. read more

My husband and I were in the market for a new SUV. BMW X5 was at the top of the wish list. Our Saturday cleared up and we decided to go do some test drives. We went to Bellevue first, but they didn't have any X5's that matched our criteria. We were looking for a 2018 with white or grey exterior, black leather, with under 5k miles. I jumped on the Car Guru website, and found a match to what we were looking for. I called ahead to make sure it was still on the lot. Blake answered the phone. He took my number, and told me he would call me back once he verified it was there. He called me back within 5 minutes to tell me it was there. We made the drive across the pond to the Seattle dealership. We got there and asked for Blake and he was at the front desk waiting for us. He took us back to see the car. It was beautiful. There were features on this X5 that were non existent on the one we test drove in Bellevue. We were impressed and instantly in love. So we said to Blake, let's do numbers! Although being a very seamless process, it was still a process. Not only were we buying but we were also trading in my husband's car. Of course being caught up in the excitement, we hadn't eaten lunch on our way to Seattle. (Obviously we didn't know we'd be leaving with a new car.) I had mentioned I was hungry. Blake said they had pizza in their break room, and asked if we wanted some. Since we had been there about 2 hours at this point, we agreed! Talk about A++ service! We closed on the car, and while we were signing paperwork; Blake had the car go through detailing one more time, and filled up the gas tank. He brought my husband's car to the garage so we could get everything out of it. He even supplied us with nice BMW mesh reusable bags to do so! I went on line to find a BMW 3 series car. Found one that I was interested in that was in stock. The online chat popped up asked if they could help I said yes. Clicked on the verify in stock. Got confirmation the car was in stock and a link to schedule the day and time for a test drive. Picked that day at 1:00 and submitted. I received confirmation of the time and date. When I arrived at the dealer at the scheduled time I learned that the vehicle I was interested inn was not available. I was also informed that the vehicles on the web site including the ones that say in transit are already sold. That you need to special order the vehicle and it will take about 3 1/2 months to arrive. Why not post this on your web site and be honest. After spending over an hour to get to a confirmed appointment I didn't even receive an apology. What a waste of time. read more

I had a great experience interacting with all the professionals here and esp. so with Karl Enemark. Karl helped us make a decision on which car (X1 22) we wanted to upgrade to by providing us objective information. With a 5 month wait period for the vehicle, he kept us updated on the status if the vehicle all along the process. Finally, I was really looking forward to picking up the car on a particular day in June (for a road trip the next day with family). As the date came closer, I was feeling less confident of getting the car on time, but Karl worked with me and his team at BMW Seattle to turn around the car from arriving at the showroom to I picking it up in a matter of hours. I'm sure BMW Seattle is going to be my first call when I want to change up to a new car! read more

First, this review is focused on the service department only. I've been bringing my bimmers to this location for service for quite a few years. The service has been consistently excellent. I really appreciated the service reps, I still do especially Josh, but this new service model with multiple part-time shifts just doesn't work. My last few experiences have unfortunately been poor. One was unscheduled so I understand they were trying to work me in but in both cases the repair completion estimates were missed significantly due to delays waiting for parts and/or impacts from having to fit the completion work into the other part-time team's schedule. While I waited for my vehicle today I overheard two other customers being told that their vehicles were not ready. This seems to be a chronic problem. I want to be clear, this review is not a criticism of the professionalism of your services reps. or the quality of the repairs. If you read this and decide the solution is to get on your staff you missed the point. IMHO, you need to return to your old service/staffing models (and yes, I understand the headwinds that most businesses are facing with staffing). The service reps like Josh, and I'm sure the mechanics, are being put in the position of having to either work overtime or fail to meet their customer's expectations. read more

on 1/19 we flew from CA to purchase a 2021 Ford Explorer Hybrid this place had advertised. we have family in Seattle that test drove it. Our son in law noticed in a photo that the front end bumper was missing, then saw it wrapped in blue wrap & tossed to the side. My husband called before leaving to p/u and asked the salesman Zac to have them install it & he apparently never did. he landed to pick it up & had to drive back in two days to get back to work. the bumper was tossed in the back of the car :/. The reason? there was a HUGE dent in the front that was not shown. there was also a small dent in the back bumper not shown. there was also a NASTY stain on the front seat that was not shown. yes. we could have left it. but at this point we had paid CASH for the entire amount except for 5,000 & we flew out there to get it! For whatever reason he was talked into getting the "no risk, free cancellation" extended warranty. $6,275. as soon as he got home, obviously we contacted them and cancelled. we were told we had to send it in the FED X envelope provided so we did. MANY PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS LATER, 62 days later after contacting corporate office we finally got our money back. They also overcharged 400 , yes FOUR HUNDRED dollars on DMV reg. We also finally got that back Wayyyy after license, registration, tags etc... 66 days later. Neither corporate office or BMW of Seattle will return any call or email in regards to putting this bumper on and they could have done it in less than 1/2 hour. its not something that can be done at home without a lift. UPDATE: after my initial review, I wrote a letter to BMW Seattle and BMW North America regarding the problem with our X1. I received calls from both, and several days later a technician drove a loaner to our house and picked up our car for service (its 7th for this issue.) Within a day they had identified the problem, a faulty AC vent near the steering column. They brought our car back on Monday of this week, and so far the rattle hasn't reappeared. I am pleased (although still wary it will return) that it has finally been resolved. Unfortunately I discovered a bunch of mysterious grease/lubricant spots all over the interior driver's side after this 7th service visit. So not only didn't they go the extra mile and detail my car after all of the problems we've endured, but they left it like this. We bought a brand new X1 in December 2016 and within a couple of months, started noticing a distinct rattling noise coming from the driver's side dash/steering column. To date, I have taken it to the service department SIX TIMES and it hasn't been fixed. The first five times, they thought they identified and fixed the issue (by applying felt tape to contact points) but the sixth time they claimed to not hear anything and said I'd have to come back a 7th time if the rattle returns (which it did, literally on my drive home from the service department.) Maybe service is a just a rough gig to be in, Parts - Needed a new FOB, was helped with superior attentiveness through the entire process . Parts was also ready to program the FOB to the car for gratis, though the car wasn't there - the extra effort was appreciated. + 1 Atta Boy Star BMW- Hate to Love, or Love to Hate? The visceral experience of driving their cars is mildly offset from the financial and emotional drain of ownership. read more

This is a review for the service department, not for sales. Minus a star for charging me $180+ tax for a "diagnostic " to see why my sunroof wouldn't open (needed a software reset). Minus a star for charging me $10.62 for "materials and provisions" aka when they use a shop towel or a paper floor mat. Come on Seattle BMW, this isn't the dollar menu. You charge ludicrous prices for service so you can cover the cost of Windex like every other car dealer everywhere. Minus a star for quoting me well more than twice what the most expensive independent shop asks for front and rear brakes and rotors and a battery. Bonus, the shop I took it to said the brakes weren't in dire condition, just needed replacing fairly soon. Minus a star for telling my the car was "almost due for oil service" (it isn't) and adding $560 worth of other services it doesn't currently need. I'm giving them back one star because most of the staff is pleasant. That doesn't make up for price gouging and padding service requirements. read more

I have to say I had a more than pleasant experience here. Unfortunately my car had a recall for 3 separate parts! So last week I finally dropped it off at the Seattle BMW location to get those taken care of. One word of advice: make sure you make an apt about 1.5 weeks ahead of time and if you need a loaner, 2 weeks. Their schedules fill up fast. Mine was going to take a whole day so I asked for a loaner. The main entrance/exit for this location isn't ideal but it is also downtown Seattle so don't be too surprised. It's right next to an intersection, so if there is any traffic it could cause some trouble getting in. Luckily I made an early morning apt on a Saturday and I didn't have much trouble. As soon as I pulled up someone greeted me, took my keys and directed me inside. The front desk people inside were prompt and within mins I was sitting in the lobby enjoying the fresh pastries and tea provided. The lobby is pretty big, tons of seating that is fairly comfortable. They also had the World Cup on so the 10 mins I waited flew by. Then I was directed into the back where I spent maybe 3 mins signing some papers. After that I was directed outside to my loaner car. It was a pretty quick appointment which I appreciated. When I went outside to get my loaner, I was a little worried they would stick me with a less comparable car than my own. I was excited when I found that they were giving me newer version of my own! A little perk for having to get a services done that wasn't planned. Around 5pm that same day I was notified that my car was not ready and quite possibly that it would take until Thursday/Friday. Though that timing is much longer than expected - I appreciated their communication. They also informed me this was not normal and with the holiday week (July 4th) they were short staffed. I'm not bothered by it though since I get a little extra time with a nicer car lol. read more

This review concerns the BMW Seattle service center: My car was broken into and the driver's side rear window was smashed. I called BMW Seattle to schedule an appointment with Jay Caley. Jay told me I could come in the next day at 8:40 AM and that I would get a rental vehicle while they ordered parts/performed the repair work. He quoted me for the diagnostics test ($200), cost of 2-hours labor ($400), and cost of the new window ($325), which they would have to order and wouldn't come in for a couple days. I showed up for my appointment the next morning and was told by the service center that I had no appointment after a few different staff searched for my name and number. When nothing came up in their database, I told Louis at the front desk that I had made the appointment with Jay, who had scheduled everything for me. He replied that "Jay often miscommunicates with customers." Louis took my information down and said I would be able to speak with Alex, a service representative, in 20-30 minutes. I called Jay and left a VM telling him I was on site and asking what happened with the appointment he scheduled. A few minutes later, Louis called me back to the front desk and said that the window wouldn't get repaired for a week, and that BMW would not get me a rental vehicle. I protested and he instructed me to continue to wait to speak with Alex. I proceeded to call Jay again and spoke with him. I asked what was going on. Jay assured me that I'd be taken care of, that I'd get a rental, and we ended the call. When I eventually got called to speak with Alex, he took my information and quoted me for the diagnostics test ($200) only, advising me that the ultimate cost would exceed that. He asked whether I'd be paying out of pocket/up front or using insurance for the repair work. I indicated that I might seek reimbursement from my insurance (Progressive) for anything beyond my deductible, but that either way I'd have to pay BMW out-of-pocket and up front for the repair work because the dealership does not deal with insurance directly, and vice versa. Alex informed me that BMW would not provide a rental vehicle and that I'd have to go through my insurance for a rental. I told him that was unacceptable and informed him that (1) either way, I am paying the dealership up front, (2) that Jay had promised a rental, and (3) this was an unacceptable outcome as my car is not presently drivable. Alex instructed me to wait while he spoke with a manager. In the meantime, I called Jay to tell him that, contrary to his assurances, I was being denied a rental car. Jay asked whether I was "going through insurance" and "what I had told Alex," and that he'd "have to check on what I said to Alex" and then get back to me. I told him that response was unacceptable. He had promised me a rental vehicle with no caveats, and I reiterated that regardless of whether I later sought reimbursement I was paying BMW up front. I asked him to please fix this mess so that I would not have to deal with further frustration and setbacks and concluded our call. I went back inside to wait for Alex to finish speaking with his supervisor. After several minutes, he returned, gave me paperwork authorizing a rental car through Enterprise, and instructed me to go to the front desk without apology for the multiple inconveniences to this point. Louis at the front desk called enterprise and I waited another 30 minutes until Louis called me to the front. They could not get anyone from Enterprise to come to the service center, so they decided to issue me a loaner vehicle. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience and well below the expectations for excellent service I have for BMW Seattle. Please do better. read more

Had a super smooth purchasing process last year of a new custom ordered M340i with salesman Chris Brown, manager Cameron Powell, and finance manager Rachel O'Sullivan. Got MSRP as promised with no dealer installed accessories, and they were sure to follow explicit instructions on vehicle arrival processes that I provided. They were happy to communicate on and accommodate requests for signed documentation on everything I needed for peace of mind to prepare to take vehicle delivery. Came in knowing exactly what I wanted and did not feel pressured into anything in the finance office either. Overall a great experience so far. Josh Logan in the service department was also been great to work with, and was very communicative during our first oil change service. Will update this review if any issues arise with the dealer or service department as ownership continues. read more

Just purchased my third BMW with BMW Seattle. They won me over with great pricing in 2016, and I've, ever since, for both purchases and service driven right past BMW of Bellevue all the way to Seattle. It would be way more convenient for me not to do that, but such is the power of great customer service and customer retention. Great experience purchasing two BMWs with Zach this year, where I was only really planning on getting one. I'd only consider Bellevue if Seattle messed up really badly in some customer service aspect, but I think they do a great job with the people they hire and possibly train on staff. I do very much like that the financing office offers stuff but there's no overt pressure or hard sell. Any place that does that would be a total turn off for me. Having almost all the documentation digitally signed and delivered is also a plus for me. I can't say I've come across anyone at BMW Seattle in sales, finance, service that has not been customer centric. I guess the only downside with all dealerships is that trade-in values aren't that great especially in a market this hot. I sold what would have been my most recent trade-in to Shift.com who straight off the bat offered me 20% more than Seattle's best offer and picked the car up from my door. read more

5 stars for Service Staff is not enough for that crew. So the 5 stars goes out to the people who get your car fixed. And Ben is the man you wanna see. He's the best **** However the sales staff sucks! **** Total bunch of aloof sales a-holes and the biggest is ( Mark Harrington ) ! Let just say this, he's the Napoleon Bonaparte of this dealership and I'm talking in size not power! Leadership is not his finest quality and his favorite subject is himself or so he'll tell you so himself if you have the unpleasure of dealing with him. Be careful with this dealership, it may say BMW but there still cars sales people! That's my BMW moment and I'm sticking to it! read more

HORRIBLE service experience. My car was stolen, crashed, and recovered. I have been trying to coordinate a mechanical inspection/estimate with BMW Seattle (I had been a longtime customer) while waiting for the body work to be done at Metro Auto Rebuild. It's been a nightmare dealing with BMW Seattle's Service Department. I have repeatedly been told conflicting things by different service agents. For example: (1) the first recommended they perform a "compression test" as part of a theft recovery inspection; another later sarcastically said compression tests are "never" recommended; (2) the first told me to bring the car in for inspection while waiting for Metro Auto to take the car in; another told me the next day BMW should not do anything until Metro took the car in first; (3) on Tuesday (11/21/23) one service agent told me the inspection could be completed the next day, or if not then by Friday 11/24 at the latest; when I followed up on Friday afternoon, I was told there were "no techs" in that day to do any inspections and nothing had been done on my car; (4) I was told at the outset we would work out the date for return of the free loaner car once the inspection was scheduled; then I received "invoices" showing daily charges for the same loaner car, before the inspection was scheduled (let alone completed), including charges for 140 miles driven (I've driven it no more than 20 miles and have not even returned it yet). My assigned service agent was out for five days, and the agent that was "taking care" of the absent agent's customers simply ignored my multiple voicemails. My voicemails to the general "Service" mailbox were likewise ignored. When the assigned agent returned, it was clear he had no idea of all the activity that had taken place while he was gone. I attempted to contact the Service Department through what I believed was a human being ("Quinn Johnson") who had reached out in response to an email from me asking for help. After several interactions I realized Quinn is a bot (but not disclosed as such). When, after several exchanges, I asked "Are you a bot?", she responded "Hi, I'm Quinn Johnson, sales assistant at BMW Seattle. How can I help you today?" Unbelievably insulting. BMW Seattle lost me as a customer. I highly recommend you not subject yourself to this kind of "service," unless you enjoy being ignored and insulted. read more

Service technicians disconnected my dash cam and damaged a wire (rear camera wire) to my dash cam. It's a screw-in wire which appears that the technician pulled it out without realizing it's threaded. They didn't even have the nerve to plug-in the other wire which is for power. Unplugging the dash cam seems a little suspicious. My Dashcam starts recording as soon the car is unlocked (BMW). The way the Dashcam records, it is without reasonable doubt, the memory card was removed and files were deleted. If you have a nicer car, be suspicious. read more
