I started off at Cisco Benz n Beemer and had a terrible experience (don't be fooled by their reviews, if you are a female especially, forget them). This is a few months overdue. I had taken my 2011 Mini to the dealer for everything since it was born. I wanted to find somewhere closer to home for some of the "small stuff" since trekking the the dealer is such a hassle. I did a lot of research and found MD's and I am so glad I found them! Let me start by saying that I was really skeptical with the thought of taking my vehicle outside the dealership for service. I was expecting these mechanics to be more pushy and difficult to deal with. I was completely wrong. Mike and Danny were awesome. These guys are honest and was easy to talk to. I've been coming here for about 3yrs with my '08 328i. On a recent trip to the dealer for (count 'em) 3 recalls, I was quoted a price for two services significantly higher than what I paid with Mike and Danny. You have to consider that the high dealership prices are indexed to their overhead and as much as they've been honest with me and delivered great service, I'm sticking with Danny, Mike and crew because they deliver the goods every time. Very pleased with this shop. I corresponded through messaging here on yelp and all my questions were answered in a timely manner. Called and made an appointment for an oil service for my 335i. Full synthetic oil is what my car requires so I planned on paying a little more. With my car on the rack Danny inspected it, gave me some advice to keep an eye on for future service. My first experience with MD's and it was outstanding! And by that I mean that there were absolutely no surprises. Everything happened exactly as they told me it would. This was a 100k mile service so there's were several items that needed attention. They even emailed me a full assessment of the proposed work and exactly what was involved within a few hours of when I dropped my X5 off. That was important because I was leaving town and wanted to get them started soon. Because I was out of the country, we handled everything by email. I found this shop on yelp when the passenger door of my bmw wont close because the double lock got stucked. Got a quote from Mike over the phone then visited the shop right away. He was able to accommodate me even if I didn't have an appointment. So I went to the shop and had the pleasure to meet Mike who used to work at a local BMW dealer service center. He's a cool and humble guy. Also, got the chance to meet his business partner, Danny, who also worked at the same BMW dealer service center. Mike even gave me a ride home, that's customer service. Anyway, everything was fixed and happy with it. Pricing is fair and way below dealer rates. I'm not sure compares to other local shops. But this shop is exclusive to BMW Mini so you cant really compare this to a local shop that caters to domestic and imports. Overall, I'm happy with the service. This is my go-to shop for work on my daughter's 328i. I have been there twice for various repairs and services, and I find Mike and Danny to be honest, reliable, and competent. I trust them implicitly, and I do not say that about any other auto repair facility in the area - in fact I had a terrible incident with the supposed German car specialist that I used before the MD's. Looking through their reviews is interesting, the very few that are negative seem to be with people that didn't actually have service done at the shop. Stuff about a delayed return telephone call is no reason to ding a business owner / service provider with a one star rating - that just isn't right nor fair. It says a lot that the actual customers all leave 5 star reviews and a lot of praise. Mike and Dan are good people and their work is excellent and priced very fairly. I recommend them to all BMW & Mini drivers in the Inland Empire. Nothing but praise from this actual customer of their services. read more

I really wanted to give this place a try since I read all the positive reviews. I just moved back to California from Henderson NV and found out that my old mechanic retired, so I found these guys read their positive reviews and called for quotes. I first spoke to Danny and he advised that he would get back to me. He never did! I had to wait until Monday (today) to call back since I last called on a Friday. When I called again, I spoke to Mike, he just passed me back to Danny and didn't even bother trying to help me. Danny called back and apologize because he said "I slipped through the cracks" who says that to a new customer? He never did call me back again! After today, I feel like I dodge a bullet. If they can't return calls why would I trust them to work on my cars?! Hope they take 1 on 1 classes on customer service so this doesn't happen again read more
