We had drain tile and a 2nd sump pump put in in 2024. I called 5 times in about 10 days and no one seem to care. I told them we are expecting heavy rain soon and nothing was done. Each person I talk to said the basically the same thing," we will have someone call in about 24 to 48 hours. Didn't happen. Now we have water in our basement due to their lack of carelessness. After spending that amount of money, we should never see water in our basement again, unless there was a serve power outage. In fact that is exactly the words they used. Funny how that works. I am dissatisfied with this company.

I thought we interviewed a good company!? Markus the…read moresalesmen was very confident and informed us of the products and installation process. The project price was much lower then 2 previous competitors. BUT!!!!! Here is our experience, we never got a contract stating what the materials and how the project was to be completed. (Nore did the installers) They never called to confirm the date they were coming. Which then was pushed back a day after I called them. The day they started the 2 man crew showed up at 9:45 am, only after I called to see if they were going to start our project. The two man crew did not have any idea what the job was to be done. They did not remove th old material until I noticed they were going to go over the top of it. Only then, after a third call Chris the manager at Erie in Neenah, did they remove the old material, they left large scraps and marks up and down our basement walls. They left dirt and old material on our garage floor and rugs. The Air exchange unit was mounted on the wrong area of the basement (as per the manual they left with us) and this was the first time this crew had ever installed one themselves!!! They asked us were we wanted it. Only after they left and reading the manual did we realize it was placed in the wrong part of the crawl space. The inspection guy who came out a few days later after I called to complain about this fact, tried to make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about and only after I pointed out in the manual and that I would be calling the Head branch of this company, did they finally agree to move the unit. This was also when the inspector pointed out to us that the crew did not wrap the concrete block pillars in the crawl spac. The pillars in our basement were not wrapped after the job was completed, and we were not given any instructions on how the air exchange unit worked. The crew did not know themselves. Now after 2 more called to Chris (whats the total here? 7), my husband has to crawl into the basement to get the model number and the serial numbers off the unit so we can file the warranty information. And if we want to know how it works we have to download a PDF file to get this information and educate ourselves on how to set the units controls.!!! Stay clear of this company they are not a quality or competent company the work is most likely over priced also. I called the Erie home customer service # which is different from the Neenah office and they were upset by the poor installations and lack of completeness on jobs from the Neenah company. I gave this company several chances to right the wrongs but they dropped the ball every time I called. I would not recommend them. I wish I would have read more reviews and not just googles.

My basement flooded every spring and through summer. My house was built in 1946 and no sump pump…read morewas installed, and I live next to a large river so the water table is pretty high. I had water coming up through the floor and coming in from the walls. I had a few estimates to "waterproof" my basement. I knew that it was going to be expensive, so I wanted to make sure I found a company that actually cared about my situation and wasn't money driven. I called ABT and Dan came out within 48 hours to take a look at my basement and give me an estimate. Dan took his time, measured and took pictures of my basement. He gave me an estimate; again, I knew it would be expensive, but the cost was pretty competitive with the estimates I had already received. What pushed me to decide to use ABT was the fact that they actually cared about my situation. I opted for the whole package - sump pump and under floor bleeder lines and baseboard system. Once I gave them the go-ahead, they put me on the schedule quickly. It took 3 days to finish the work and each night, before the Jermellio and his crew left, they made sure to clean up. They were very respectful and explained to me what it was that they were doing each day. On the last day, they explained to me how everything works. All was great! About a week after the system was installed, I noticed that water was seeping through a crack in the floor. I called Dan and told him about it. No hassle, no fuss - they got someone out immediately to fix the problem - no extra charge. Great! About a month after the install, I noticed a lot more water coming up from one section of the basement floor. Once again, I called Dan and he had someone come out and assess the situation. After about 45 minutes of testing the system and taking measurements, it was discovered that the pitch was off on the bleeder system under the floor and the water was not draining properly. Again, no hassle, no fuss, they got someone out to my house - dug up the concrete, re-pitched the bleeder lines and tested it - works great, poured more concrete and it was finished - only took a couple of hours. Again, no charge. Bottom line, ABT cares about their customer satisfaction and will not stop until the customer is satisfied with the results. I will not hesitate to contact ABT again for other concrete needs. I ABT

Lastly argued with me in the phone saying that work that was quoted was actually done and I owe them for it. I would use someone else next time. Edit: they did come back and rectify.
