Surprise fees are not a fun housewarming gift--especially when it's money I did not budget for. The whole thing felt incredibly unprofessional and honestly pretty scummy. They also attempted to hook up my washer and dryer. The first time we used it we ended up with a flooded laundry room. Another bonus feature I didn't request was one of the helpers spending the day constantly farting--inside and outside my new home. Nothing says "fresh start" like walking into a cloud of regret.
