    Menu - April 2026

Delicious food at a cheap price, like the to-go curry for $6.50 or pho for $12. It's a rundown inside, but this doesn't affect the taste of the food. Great, affordable drinks too! Parking - medium plaza

Introduced to this establishment after eating egg rolls at a retirement party! Super affordable and the taste was solid. We ordered the following: #1 Special Pho #12 Special Banh Mi Remember this is a no frills restaurant and because of the price don't expect service.

$10 minimum. No one was there. Service was fast. Small place. I just bought the pandan honeycomb. Approx 4 piece for $5 ea. pricing isn't that bad.

Today's dinner. Remember, never to stick chopsticks into meal vertically.

I'm back again. Today is Monday. Pho Ga on special. Now when a bowl of noodles is usually over $10, here is a sizable bowl of noodles with real chicken for less than $10. Can't get better than this. Service is quick. Food came out hot and in less time than for me to update mu review.

I love coming to this location to grab spring rolls or sesame balls for a quick breakfast in the morning. They have a lot of other ready to grab items, like mung bean cake, rice dishes, and vermicelli bowls. I really liked the #2 banh mi, it was made fresh in front of me in 5 mins. It's also buy 2 get 1 free, so 13 dollars for 3 sandwiches! Overall all dishes are priced very reasonably, and I will most definitely come back to try other menu items

BANH MI = my favorite thing in the world My friend and I stopped by BMC Pho after the gym and I just discovered their amazing buy 2 get 1 banh mi deal. We ordered two of the banh mi's and got one for free -- one for me, my friend, and my friend's sister. This is such a steal and their banh mi is very tasty ! I believe it was about $13 for 3 total. Their banh mi is very tasty + you get what you pay for but it's soo good. This has always been a spot my family goes to before we go on a road trip because banh mi stays good for so long. I will be back soon ^.^

This place is one of the primary staples of the El Monte location. Located in a plaza next to Yoshinoya, this place has been the cornerstone for cheap Vietnamese eats. For less than 5-7 bucks, you can get a delicious plate of chicken rice, porkchop rice, or porkchop with shrimp. HIGHLY RECCOMEND coming here near closing hours for cheap deals (I got the last plate for $3 compared to the original 5-7). Where else can you get such a deal? They also have other deals such as $6.50 for beef soup or curry chicken soup , which I highly reccomend with a side of rice prep. Additionally, they have banh mi combos, which go for 6.50 each ( buy two get one free). They also offer hotpot, vermicelli, pad thai, and egg rolls for sale as well as traditional Vietnamese sweets and drinks. If you're on a budget, this is exactly the place for you. Quality is good, however don't expect it to be fine cuisine. You get the biggest bank for your buck, but avoid eating the pickled vegetables and carrots after 1-2 days, it spoils quickly. Definitely a staple throughout my current college school year.

A mess of an egg banh mi. They literally will kill me.

TLDR: if you have allergy and want to live, dont eat here. They will gaslight you for their wrongness. Went to this location today. Ordered an egg banh mi. Requested for NO CARROTS, extra cilantro and jalapeno. Lady said ya ya ya. Order came out, it has the whole pickles and carrots. Talked to them, lady said I was in the wrong for not requesting it and want extra pickles she said. I had to remind her that I did tell her that I don't want carrots and I did ask some extra CILANTRO AND JALAPENO. She gave me attitude and told me to sit down. She brought me back the banh mi - but instead of making me a new one, she just took away what she could. Luckily I opened the banh mi before I eat it because I have carrots allergies. It still have carrots in it. I gave the banh mi to a relative so it wont be wasted. But this is unacceptable. I could have gotten serious allergy attack.

I come back here occasionally and it's always comfort food. The banh mi aren't the best that I've had but they aren't bad. Buy two get one is still a solid deal so you're getting 3 banh mi for $12. The counter items are always really good and very reasonably priced. The egg rolls are quite good and they are only $1. Will say it was a bit awkward having to wait in line without any sort of communication for almost 5 minutes. A line started up and we all eventually got to order.

    Happy hour menu

Satisfactory food at a decent price. There is a minimum ($10?) for credit card use. Overall it's a great place to grab some ready made items, or order freshly prepared items.

I've been somewhat a regular customer at this location since moving to this side of town 5 years ago. My family and I would get their hot pot which they stopped serving unfortunately since the pandemic. I'm a fan of their iced fruity tea and milk teas too, although they're on the sweet side. Aside from the hot pot, their rice plates are also a great value. Another specialty they don't get enough credit for is their banh mi. My favorite is #1 which consists of 2-3 different cold cuts. Their baguette is so soft on the inside with a satisfying crunch on the outside. Service-wise: well, they haven't messed up any of my orders. I haven't experienced a long wait either. I come here for the delicious food of appreciable value and not for service such as of fine dining.

Initially, I thought this place was a big sit down restaurant. On the contrary, it's a small place where you can grab and go. Yes, there are a handful of tables if you rather eat your food right away, but I get the sense that's not what most people do here. This place offers ready to eat Vietnamese entrees, hot and cold. If it's not offered out on the tables, there's also a made to order menu. I picked up a few ready made dishes before heading into work. Not pictured were spring rolls that I enjoyed. I'll be back again.

Noodles were thin and cooked properly. The bone rib was a hard miss. It was very chewy and almost hard, as if it was old. Cooked a while ago and sitting for someone to order it. The rib itself is 4/10, if 5/10 meant acceptable. I ONLY recommend this spot if you're on your lunch break and gotta stay in the area for work. Otherwise, you should make the drive to eat better. I assume the good rating they have is due to lack of competition in the immediate area. They have a B rating as if 9/25/2024! 1.5 years and they still haven't made the effort to get right? I've eaten in many hole in the wall spots and have pretty normal standards for cleanliness as I understand how things get. But this place made me feel dirty. I'm a dude who can just stand and piss over any drain, but the restroom was disgusting. If my family was with me I would feel horrible allowing my wife or kids to have to use it. Washing your hands would make you feel dirtier, that's how bad it was. Bottom line. 6/10 If you must remain in this area, go for it. The pho is good enough. If you have options and time 4/10, steer clear from here until they put in the effort. If the bathroom didn't gross me out so much, I woulda took a photo.

It is a nicely stacked bowl that has everything but the kitchen sink in it - roast pork belly, catfish, squid, eggplant, and stuffed jalapeno with fried fish cake. Very filling and reasonably priced! The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of 5 rating is because you can only order certain items from the menu when they open. Service was fast and the restaurant looks mostly the same as before, but the food itself was just alright. Here's what I tried: Pho Chin Bo Vien - Portion size was generous and very filling. The broth tasted okay but nothing memorable, and the noodles had a slight bite to them. Solid, but not standout. (3.5/5) Com Suon, Cha Trung - This dish was also just okay. The rice was mushy, likely from too much water. The pork was a bit fatty but decently seasoned. The egg portion was very small, though it did taste good. Overall, nothing special. (3.5/5) Would I come back? Honestly, probably not. With so many great pho spots nearby, this visit didn't stick with me the way it used to. I used to frequent this place, but this time it fell a bit flat.

New experience alert…read more My good friend Ben shared with me this Vietnamese place. I've never been to a place where they specialize in the catch fish where it's prepared Vietnamese style. You make these rolls with the fish with the sauce that you create along with all the side raddish's, carrots, and lettuce. We got the medium fish and it filled the 3 of us. The service was great. Our server got us everything we needed whenever we needed it. It feels like a bbq place and there's definitely a like so come early. My friend pre ordered the fish because it takes some time to prepare. Super delicious meal. You've got to try it.

Our server, Kevin, truly made the night memorable. He is hilarious and charismatic, ensuring we were well taken care of while keeping everyone laughing throughout the entire meal. The food was fantastic, especially the large catfish we ordered along with several other dishes. A helpful tip for anyone planning a visit is to order the catfish in advance when you make your reservation, as it is a popular item that takes some time to prepare. The dining style is interactive and fun since you wrap your own rolls using the catfish and various meats accompanied by fresh vegetables and vermicelli. We were there celebrating a friend's birthday, and the staff was kind enough to keep our cake in the fridge until we were ready for dessert at the end of the night. Everything was delicious, and the service made the celebration even more special.
