My BMW 328D had some oil leak so I brought my car in. Joseph quickly identified it as a Valve Cover issue. He quoted me a fair price on this part and was upfront and honest that it would take some time as it wasn't an easy job. In addition, he also changed my rear brake pads and rotors at nearly half the price the dealer quoted me. Joseph is the best, I highly recommend him for your BMW and other German car service/repair. read more

Joseph is the goat (greatest of all time) ! I had taken my car to someone else 6 months ago because of an existing problem. The problem continued and I had wondered into Joseph's shop asking for help. He gave me a price and we did the oil change first because I didn't have the money at the time for the full job needed. He said he was worried about the car and I may get a month out of it. Sure enough my car started smoking almost a month to date. I returned to him. Not only did he fix my car but he washed it and even asked permission to drive it for the day to make sure there were no issues. This dude was sent from the Heavens. I'm sure of it. I called BM+ Automotive on my only day to get repair work done. I actually needed a smog check. Joseph answered and had time to fit me in. While smog was going on he noticed some minor items about my vehicle and pointed them out to me. Actually fixed my lights as a courtesy, a nice to do. Quite a pleasant experience. It's really hard to find a mechanic who takes the time to look over the car, not to make a $$$ but just as a true interest in BMW's. And fix it for no charge. I'll be back. read more

Highly recommend. Joseph is honest and professional. He was able to take my old non-running BMW, diagnose the problems, replace the damaged head, timing belt, and defective fuel pump, and get it running better than ever. He stayed in communication throughout the job and invited me to come see the issues before repairing; I couldn't be happier. He even went ahead and verified the car would pass smog which was on my to-do list since moving it from out of state. read more

Have brought my 328i here now twice and have had great service and no issues. Joseph is a diagnostician, which is getting rarer nowadays. At this moment, I need to update my review from last year. Since moving to the area, I have been to 3 other places, this includes the local BMW dealership and BM Plus and now I think this place is JUST MEH. I needed a direct, honest and knowledgeable mechanics who believe in service. BM+ does have most of the above things. However, I thought I can count on always getting the knowledge with reasonable pricing for what was actually done. However, I learned that BM+ is really charging like a dealership, lying and this means it can include hours for things not actually being replaced. Yes, the rate is initially lower, but if you are charging me for time not actually needed to finish a job than, Customers lose confident because that's considered a mark up. It's bogus. Not returning. read more

Joseph helped me out with my 2013 750i. My car is lowered with 1.5 inch drop and he was able to put it on the lift for me and fix my car. I had a slow leak and asked him to plug a tire. There were actually 2 nails in my tires and he fixed it promptly and for a good price. I called the dealer to find out how much a brake flush was and his price was about half so I set up Ana appointment with him. He also changed my cabin filter. Everything went smoothly and I highly recommend him! Nice guy to work with. I also brought in my nsx because my lip was falling off and he helped me fix it! read more

SHADY AS THEY COME. BEWARE DONT COME HERE!!! So I found a groupon for a smog check I set up a time to bring in it and joe gets to work with the smog check. He completes the smog check and the. Tells me there is a plastic cover hanging under my car that I know wasn't hanging there before I drove in I saw him underneath the car in the exact location where the cover was hanging he tells me you have a plastic cover hanging under your car that "came loose" right!!! So I lay on the floor in his shop and try to snap it back in but he broke the tabs off and then has the audacity to tel me he has to charge me for putting it on the lift to take of the piece that he broke really! What kind of shady business is this guy running maybe he was pissed I bought the groupon I don't know but really I come in for a simple smog check and then you break a plastic cover and tell me you have to charge me get real you crooked bastard. Everyone watch out for this guy shady as they come read more

So I met Joe from BM+ many years ago when I was first living in South Bay. I moved away and recently moved back to Irvine....despite being in OC, I had Joe's number and knew he would be knowledgeable given his work directly with the BMW dealer shop. So I reached out to him and figure it would be my best chance at fixing my car - no one I know has been able to tell me why my 2002 325ci's RPMs were going up and down w/o an error code. Long story short, Joe correctly diagnosed the problem and also addressed all the other items I needed to have the car in good working order. He's a great, honest guy! I'll be driving back from Irvine again for anything related to my BMW. read more

Very knowledgeable (BMWs), meticulous and honest, perhaps to meticulous and honest as he always finds something he doesn't like and I need to take care of. I've known and used Joseph for 8 or so years when he did work at his home garage. He only wants to use German parts (and oil) so his oil changes are a little higher; but, you get good oil and the inside of my engine is proof. I have pictures. I have a' 98 540. I see the negative review and I know that he feels very bad. He is a good person and honest as I said above. read more

If you're looking for a mechanic that's honest and won't beat around the bush then stop looking and go to this place.
