All the negative reviews are coming from folks who are probably not aware of what a freight forwarder is. Ebay uses multiple freight forwarders. What they essentially do is process orders for customers outside of the United States. You will be able to know that it is a freight forwarder when a numeric code follows the customers name on the shipping address. Every freight forwarder will have this. BM uses "BM" followed by a series of numbers, to identify the order # of the international customers address. That's why the names will always be different. If you sell on Ebay like i do fulltime and you utilize the Global Shipping Program, then you would be aware of this common practice. Under Ebay's Global Shipping Program, you only need to ship to this address. Once it reaches this address, your work is done and anything that happens to the package (damage, stolen, lost, etc.....) Ebay covers it, meaning you would get all your money back on the sale plus the shipping cost. Now I'm not sure what protection Amazon sellers have but for Ebay, the Global Shipping Program is a breeze, I don't have to worry about shipping directly to an international customer by filling out crazy paperwork, insurance etc... it's much easier to ship it cheaply to a location in the U.S. and then have the freight forwarder take care of the rest. I've only one issue in the hundreds of packages I've sent to a freight a freight forwarder and the buyer claimed he never receive the package. Because tracking showed that freight forwarder received it, then Ebay covered the entire cost plus shipping and I got all my money back. Some of the reviews where credit cards were used, means something shadier is going on so based on that I would avoid but freight forwarders for me save me a ton of hassle when it comes to international orders. read more

This firm is used by eBay buyers in Central America to pretend they have a US address so they can buy items from US eBay sellers that had no intention of shipping their item outside the US. This firm will repackage your item to try and reduce the weight so they can save on shipping charges to the buyer in Central America. As part of this repackaging process, they will lose key accessories for your item. The buyer in Central America will receive an item without those accessories and attempt to blame the US seller, who had no idea they were sending their item to a third party for repackaging and shipment outside the US. this firm will then support the Central American buyer in blaming the US seller for an incomplete shipment and deny they repackaged the item from the original packaging. There is an eBay scam that runs through this business, so if you ever get someone telling you to ship it here rather than their address on PayPal, DO NOT DO IT. I sold an Amazon Fire on eBay and immediately after the buyer purchased it, they sent me a message that I included as a picture. I thought this was strange as I've sold a few hundred things on eBay in the past and never has a buyer asked to change his address especially not immediately after they purchased a product. If a buyer needed to change his address, they can do so in PayPal, so this seemed especially strange. I was skeptical about this, so I looked up the address and thankfully many others have shared their stories of how they have been scammed by this business in the past. Apparently they lie and will report to eBay that the item you ship to them will either arrive broken or not arrive at all and they will request a refund and keep the item. I then called eBay, cancelled the order and choose the reason as "Buyer asked to cancel the order" so they are unable to leave negative feedback on my account, and had the eBay team member walk me through the process of reporting a buyer. The reason I assume they are able to keep trying this is because they keep creating new accounts, for example, this account was made in 2019 and had no prior transactions. Woke up this morning to a stolen Apple ID. Someone ordered some Apple items using my account and credit card. This is the shipping address. BEWARE!!! I'm thinking the police need to make a visit to this fine establishment. Called the Doral police department and the officer told me that these are people in the Dominican who scam people and then have the items shipped to freight companies. He said they are near the Miami airport and there are many freight companies nearby. The freight company then forwards the package to their address in the DR. I've had some clients that had excellent service in shipping to Dominican Republic and other islands outside of the United States. I have an eBay company that only shipped to the US, and this service allowed for them to receive my products. I believe there was only 1 time that the order was messed up, but I rectified it on my end by replacing the product at my expense. It takes a little longer from a seller's point of view for the person to receive the product, but that is expected. If you are a buyer on eBay and using this service, please disclose it to your sellers in case there is an issue. Returns and exchanges will be difficult on the buyer because you may have to spend extra to send the item back and receive new items. Very frustrating for sellers to have these issues. read more

I just want to post this to clear up some misconceptions. I am a US expat from Michigan but living in the Dominican Republic. This company is one of the largest and most reputable package forwarders in this country. Since the postal service here is extremely corrupt and unstable, this type of company is literally the only way to guarantee you will receive something. They charge by the pound, about $5US. The company has a VERY good reputation and good customer service. The reason you are seeing so many different names is that anyone can create an account there. The BM-XXXXXX number is the individual's account number which is used to keep track of the package and billing. They also offer service to a number of other Central/South American countries. Unfortunately, many Dominicans don't have a good handle on how internet purchasing and postal services work and because of not understanding English, they are quick to dispute because they didn't read well or understand what they committed too. Also many people in the third world think EVERYONE in the US is filthy rich and that it isn't going to hurt you any to lose $200... I know, it's totally wrong and I do not approve. I am sure you are right that there are people who are intentionally creating scam circles, realizing that there is a weakness in Ebay's system and they are taking advantage of it but just to be clear, thousands of legitimate people use this service every day to have access to things and prices we could only dream of in this country. Also to be clear, anything negative that happens to you is not the company running a scam. BM (Business Mail) Cargo is just a freight forwarder. It is the end client that is cheating you. I am terribly sorry for anyone that got scammed, I just felt a responsibility to explain what is actually happening since it seemed like there was a lot of misinformation about this address. We just got scammed by a so called buyer at this address. Used LG phone . Claimed they never received it so naturally ebay took it from our pay pal account. I called ebay again just know . I am going to push them to give me my money ,as their so called investigation was ridiculous . The buyer would not communicate at all after putting in a claim . I asked them if they thought that was a bit weird. I asked them how many complaints they have received from the address , and he said none. I called him a liar . As I know they have . I had packaged the items and was looking up the zip code when a ton of complaints popped up for this very address but many different aliases. I contacted Ebay and PayPal to report this address and the fact they use various aliases. Thank God I noticed all the reports of fraud before I shipped it. I had planned on doing so first thing in the morning. I was able to cancel the transaction and was saved. BEWARE and DO NOT SHIP TO THIS ADDRESS! If they buy anything from you, cancel it and report it to Ebay and PayPal immediately so hopefully they can shut these sick criminals down. I dont make a lot of reviews but felt compelled to make one when I saw all the negative reviews about this company. Most people with bad reviews here appear to be ebay and amazon sellers who got scammed by buyers using the Doral, FL address. You must understand this company is basically a freight forwarder. It is used by people in other countries to receive merchandise purchased in the US and forwarded to other countries or someone who wants to send a package or a box to family or friends in other countries or even a businessman that wants to ship a container to another country. Its unfortunate that some scammers are using it to dupe sellers on ebay and amazon. But as far as the service BH Cargo provides it has been excellent so far. I have a friend in DR who uses this courier service and they have been flawless. I dont know what the solution is for ebay and amazon sellers but BH Cargo is not at fault. Im just saying that the negative stars suck for this company because they dont deserve it im sure those @ssholes that scammed received their package. Maybe BM cargo has to begin creating a blacklist to try and help prevent those idiots from scamming. The rating does not go low enough for this place. Unless you have months to wait for an item, you should probably go somewhere else. I use them on a regular basis ( that is up until now, I just cancelled my account ) I have ordered food and have waited 5 or more weeks ( after it was received in their warehouse ), some was actually expired by the time I received it. This occurs 50% of the time with them, they have also lost countless packages and refused to refund anything. They write that they received it then it's gone and you are screwed. Monkeys could do a better job of handling this business than what they have working there. Don't waste ypour time and money with BM Cargo. read more

I use this company to ship many of my items. I'm sorry that others have had issues with scamming on eBay. I personally buy from eBay and many other selling sites and have my items shipped here. I don't trust regular international mail to get me my items. Especially anything expensive like an iPhone or computer. I will say if your interested in using the service it's pretty good. I've never had a packaged lost.. yet. Hopefully that doesn't happen. The pricing rate is better for smaller packaged items. The shipping time is pretty slow. It's taken more than two weeks to get some of my packages. And sometimes your package shows delivered by USPS, etc. but it may take five or more days before it registers with BM Cargo that they even have it. Leaving you to wonder if it's lost. If that was fixed or the process was faster I would give it a higher rating. read more

Just to clarify, the address is not a fake address, it is not at eBay scam. That is the address of BM Cargo, a courier that delivers packages to Dominican Republic and Panamá, I believe. I use their service to get packages delivered to me from the US. Just last week I ordered a bunch of items from Amazon, eBay and different individuals (using Paypal) and. The BM-xxxxx number that you see there is the customer number of that specific person that you sold to. When the package is delivered to that address, that number is how they know who that package belongs to. Is that specific number that you should be focused on. You should be saying don't deliver to that address with that specific BM number on it, not the address as a whole because that is the location of the distribution center and warehouse of BM Cargo. I have never tried to scam anybody. Yes, there are people out there that are trying to get items for free by opening up false claims. Unfortunately, there's no way for a seller to know who those people are unless the buyer has a really bad score or has been reported by other sellers. The SPECIFIC BUYER that opened up the false claim is the person you should be after, not this address like you're saying. This address is used by thousands of people that use BM Cargo as their courier, me and my husband included. Again, I am an honest buyer that has a great score on eBay and Amazon.
