Christa and her team were wonderful. They did make up and hair for me, my 5 bridesmaids, and the two moms. The bridal preview helped immensely. Christa was very responsive and looking to do everything she could to make sure I looked perfect. I wear makeup on a regular basis, but bridal makeup is just a whole different look. Christa is absolutely amazing! We hired her for our recent wedding and she did the makeup and hair for my wife and her four bridesmaids. She accentuated each individuals unique characteristics and made them shine. One thing to note, our wedding venue was changed at the last minute from Napa to San Francisco due to the fires and Christa did not bat an eye. We saw her bright and early on the day of the wedding. We are extremely happy that she was able to make the location change on such a short notice. Down to earth kinda girl... I originally found Christa through craigslist after hunting high and low all over the internet. I has so many referrals of make up artists through word of mouth or a friend of a friend, but I just wanted to be sure I didn't miss out on any hidden gems. I am glad I trusted my gut and eventually stumbled on Christa. I viewed her website and found her prices to be very reasonable, a huge plus! I originally contacted her through email and she got back to me right away! After a few emails back and forth we decided to meet for a trial and Christa was willing to drive practically anywhere to meet me. Upon meeting we hit it off right away. What I loved about Christa was her professionalism, but she was also very easy to open up to. She listened to what I was looking for and added in her own suggestions. I ended up having a secondary trial for my bridesmaids and that's when I knew she would be perfect for the job. On the big day Christa arrived early and got right to work. She worked at a good pace considering she had to tackle 3 bridesmaids. She also faced a challenge of making sure my bridesmaids felt comfortable with the make up they had on especially since they are not heavy make up wearers. She came the day of with everything I could possibly need and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I am sooooooo incredibly glad that I picked Blush for my BIG DAY! Christa was so easy to work with and really helped ease the stress I was feeling. My skin is naturally bad (oily and with acne) so I was really worried about having makeup that would make my face greasy after a couple hours. I was also really afraid that I wouldn't look like ME. Christa is amazing! When I reached out to her she was able to accommodate me on very short notice (next day) and was able to come directly to my home to do both my hair and make-up. I booked Christa about two months before my brother's destination wedding in Hawaii. She and Heather were very accommodating to our needs, including attending our rental home at 4am the morning of the wedding to get myself and four other women ready for the occasion. They did a fabulous job on our hair and makeup, and checked in with us throughout the session to ensure that we were happy with our look. They were very sociable and expressed interest learning about our cultural traditions. Our hair and makeup stayed in place throughout the hot August day - the ceremony was outdoors and in direct sunlight so I was a bit worried about getting too dolled up for the event, but our hair and makeup was perfect.
