A huge thank you to Jocelyn at Bella Bridal Napa Valley for helping on such short notice…read more  I was deep in decision paralysis and Jocelyn and her team came highly recommended. A consummate professional she focused on quickly booking an artist that could help with such short notice (2 weeks!). The contract and website were easy to navigate.  I worked with Yajaira who was lovely, hilarious, and creative. After checking out my inspo photos and getting to know me. We decided on a classic, glam, and down hairdo with waves as it fit my relaxed summer wedding vibe (and my undercut is still growing in). My hair was easy to manage, looked spectacular and stayed in place well into the night. Absolutely great service, I've attached a picture and may add more when the final portraits come in.  Thank you so much for helping me when I felt so out of my depth and for making the morning of my wedding reception go so smoothly.

Brittany was amazing and we cannot recommend her highly enough…read more The bride and groom had a last minute wedding we planned in two weeks due to the bride's health condition, and we weren't sure we could find a makeup artist in time. Brittany rose to the occasion, making the time for us (even though normally she was done for the season). Brittany was so empathetic and understanding of the bride's condition as a cancer patient, and went above and beyond to be accommodating, flexible, and make this day so special. Because of the bride's condition and the timing, we weren't able to do a makeup trial, but sent Brittany the bride's pinterest board and a few photos of the bride. The morning of the wedding, Brittany came bright and early to the hotel room, fully prepared. She gamely rolled with all the punches, and flexed to accommodate the unplanned for needs of a bride who was sick - from letting her rest in-between hair and makeup, to doing a last-minute change to her hairstyle so that she could take naps during the wedding day without messing up her hair, to putting on the makeup on the bride on the wheelchair and when she was resting on the hotel bed. Brittany took it all in stride, calmly and patiently, while giving the bride the most encouraging words and making her feel beautiful. The bride looked so beautiful the big day - it was amazing to see the bride light up because of how beautiful her hair and makeup was, when we showed her what Brittany had done. Throughout the big day, it was amazing to see the bride and groom the happiest I had ever seen them. And from the pictures, the bride looked in full health and glowing - a testament to the artful and skillful hands of Brittany, who made her shine and look her best possible self. I can't recommend Brittany enough - if you've got an event and you want a makeup artist and stylist who is talented and who cares about you genuinely and deeply, Brittany is the perfect person for you.

So the fiancé and I are looking for a hairstylist and make-up artist in Napa for our upcoming…read morewedding. There are lots of salons in downtown napa. You don't want to pick just anyone. You want to be comfortable with the person or team that's going to be working with you on the big day. First impressions are everything. To me that's where the comfort begins. We probably walked in 7 or 8 salons. The feeling we got with most of them with first impressions, were on the stuck up side. Didnt really feel like they wanted our business. More like we should be greatfull we walked in their door. About 2 or 3 were nice, showed interest in us and said they would call to better acclimate themselves with the information for the wedding. Now my thinking personally is, if you want someone's business, you show them great customer relations and attention. My fiances bridal party contains 10 woman. That's a lot of money to be made! It took a week for someone to get back with us. I called my wedding site coordinator and asked if she knew of a hair and make-up person in Napa. She said she was just in a wedding and loved this lady and recommended her. Her name is Cecilila of violet hour. She gave me her information and my fiancé called. So just on a phone call conversation, she was very interested and excited for the opportunity to work our wedding. She said she would call back with more information and a time to come and do a trial. She called back the next day to set up a trial with make-up as well. We get to the salon and its a cute little salon. Clean, vibrant and welcoming. She was a joy to talk to. As well as the make-up artist. This were first impressions are kicking in. My fiancé is feeling very comfortable with them and is very happy. I left during the trial session as to not see what the bride to be will look like in the veil and everything. But from her accounts she was thrilled. On my return she looked more beautiful than ever! Hair style was prestine and make-up just stunning. As we left Cecilia said she would call with price quotes for the bridesdmaids and bride. She called back in a couple days with the pricing and it was very very reasonable. We booked her for our wedding and glad to have met her. The wedding hasn't arrived yet, so can't review day of wedding stuff, but on a first impression status she is a 5 star all the way.
