Unfortunately, because of a time zone issue in their booking system, the appointment was apparently entered as 12:00 PM instead. I use Square regularly in NYC and have never experienced this kind of confusion before. What made the situation especially frustrating was the complete lack of accommodation or understanding when I arrived. I was simply told the issue was noted somewhere on the website, but if this is a known problem, it should be made extremely clear and impossible to miss -- especially for out-of-town clients visiting Napa. They also stated they called me around noon, but I never received a phone call or missed call notification. The experience felt disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. Napa is known for hospitality and customer service, and sadly this business did not reflect that at all. I hope they improve both their booking communication and their willingness to work with customers when issues like this happen.

Doing the trial was really helpful as there were some changes I wanted to see from the trial (Bella Bridal airs on the side of more natural makeup and I wanted it a little less natural for an evening black tie wedding. I also wanted the hairstyle a bit more classic than boho) they were SUPER receptive to all feedback, and it was obvious they were genuinely invested in making me feel confident, happy, and beautiful on my big day.
