People were very nice & dogs seemed to get along fine. However, there were several instances of in neutered dogs displaying dominance & aggression toward others WHICH IS DEFINITELY NOT OKAY. Every dog park I have been to DOES NOT PERMIT Un-neutered or unspayed dogs 10k dogs are EUTHANIZED A DAY IN THE US bc people are NOT spaying & euthanizing their dogs. ONE FEMALE DOG AND HER BABIES can have over 67,000 puppies in a six-year time frame! That's because a dog can have three litters a year with up to seven puppies per litter.

Urghhh not so much...!!!! This place is located in a residential area and I drive around on a unbusy Monday being a work day but, it still took me like 30mins to try to find a park just to enjoy the beach. I was thinking I did t make a good choice for a beach day. Anywho finally after spotting a person pull out from a street parking spot, finally I was able to park. Next venture i had to figure out was how to get to the beach now. Because of road blocks, I ended up having to ask 2 men at a hotel and they directed me which way to go. At this point, I'm starting to feel defeated but, I'm determined. At least, close to an hour later...I see the beach. It did had a water sprouting from the ground, a few swings for couples so nice landscaping. Then there was the beach, sadly it was not at all what I had expected as the water was muddy looking. Also the sand-flies were aggressive & everywhere. I sat on a boat for a few minutes checking out the view but, honestly on this day it was not much to enjoy beside the wedding that was about to take place. After only 10mins sitting, the sand-flies won! I left the beach and walked around and went through a restaurant which I noticed a lovely pool and a Tiki Bar next door. So thought I would grab a cocktail to start celebrating my birthday to but, not before getting bite 5-6 times by the very aggressive sand-flies. Warned: The beach does not offer the most easiest access to get to. I would have preferred going to Orange Beach in AL so, for this reason instead of staying the 2 nights I planned on staying...it would t have been worth the money. I only stayed in Hilton Head 1 night!!!!!!! Please put up signage so, people know where to PARK and BEACH ENTRANCE SIGNAGE so, 1st timers will not be defeated in trying to go to the correct area of the beach. It's not fun feeling like you're in a maze when visiting somewhere new.

The park promises to be dog-friendly (assuming you're okay with the alligator signs everywhere) and the water fountain has a dog fountain at the bottom. The parking lot offers little protection from sun, and the environment overall is buggy and hot as one might expect. Nonetheless, as a brief pull-off for a drive through the area, it works pretty well. At night, it would be a cracking atmosphere for an event. I wish there were more easy ways to access the natural environment like this.

This is a fantastic place for family photos and one we've used for a couple of different years now…read more It's clean easy to access well maintained by the city and we really enjoy it. Our photographer is excellent. She does a wonderful job. We're very pleased to have her. She always makes the best family photos. And this is our favorite site to do it. We highly recommend it not just for pleasure and recreation but also for photos.

11-30-24 Saturday…read more Had out of town visitors and they wanted to go to the beach. I normally go to Buerkes Beach but one of the persons in our party cannot walk far. So I chose this beach based on the high Yelp ratings that proved once again correct. Once we arrived you pay the meter based on the time you plan to be at the beach. I chose two hours. You enter the parking space number and pay $1. per hour which is very reasonable. Gorgeous beach lots of sand that has not eroded away. If it was warmer we would definitely have stayed longer here. Will be back again soon.

It's got plenty of room for dogs and kids. There were actually two large areas for you to let your dog run. One was a little larger than the other so many one is for smaller dogs and the other for large dogs? I'm not sure. There was no one there. Except a lady walking the loop by herself. The area is totally shaded so will be perfect in the hot summer. The parking lot is large so no street parking needed. The wide concrete entrance to the park is painting with tons of children's games. Makes me wish I had little ones again. There are lots of okay structures for the children. And there are lots of benches. I'm excited to go back!

The young lady at office was very polite, and the guy driving around on the golf cart picked up trash very morning was and ask us every day if we needed any thing. The only thing I wish they had was 1 cart in the laundry room with a bar across the top to hang clothes on when you took them out of dryer. Still great place to stay.

The playground has swings and slides that our grandson loves, and there's also frisbee golf, tennis courts, and wooded trails for walking or biking. One of our favorite parts is how close the train tracks are--you can hear and see the train go by, which our grandson thinks is the best! He also enjoys feeding the turtles in the pond. You'll usually see people fishing and plenty of birds hanging around the water looking for fish. It's just a peaceful, fun park with a little something for everyone.
