Decent way to burn some time if you're in the area. If you're an off-road enthusiast than this isn't for you. Average speed of the entire tour was about 8-10 mph. Website says experience required for certain trails but it appears they'll let just about anyone of age operate an ATV or UTV. Cheaper and better was to spend your time and money is to drive yourself up to the top of Clingmans Dome. Much more exciting than this tour. read more

This place would be perfect for inexperienced ATV riders and those who would rather sightsee on trails than experience good ATV riding. The facility is nice, but everything is bound by strict rules. If it sounds like it would be fun, you can rest assure that it is against the rules. For example, if sliding tires (drifting), going fast, and independent trail riding are your thing, go somewhere else. These things will all get you kicked out of the tour. The staff seemed nice, but they also treat you like you are stupid when it comes to riding ATVs. While it is normal to momentarily stand up on an ATV to give your laurels a break, that will get you a "strike". 3 strikes will get you kicked out -- but they start everyone out with 1, so it is really a 2-strike policy. You travel around 8-10mph, in straight-lines separated by 8-10 feet. Get too close, get a warning. Separate farther apart, get a warning. Slow down and speed up.. get a warning. You get the point. Lots of warnings Familes, retirees, and first-time riders will have a good time. Experienced riders will be bored out of their minds. This outfit has found every way imaginable to legislate out the inherit fun of riding a 4-wheeler. Also, you spend time covering the cost of repair items on the ATV, because even though you pay for insurance to ride, it does not cover the vehicle at all. In case you are wondering, it's $28.50 for a taillight. I cannot recommend this place for people who know what they are doing. . read more

Our family attempted to reserve multiple ATV's and UTV's with Bluff. I dont know what was worse the lack of customer service from the lady at the front counter or the 100 rules they have. Way too complicated. We ended up leaving and booking else where. Save yourself the trouble and drive 7 minutes to Jayell Ranch and rent there. read more

Sooo much fun! We went on the hour and half ride. I've never driven an ATV before or been on rough terrain but it was manageable and extremely fun! If you're not comfortable it's best to stick close to the front by the guide. Our guide was Kyle. Really friendly and fun! This is a MUST! We will definitely be going back. The views are spectacular so bring a camera or go pro if you have one. My favorite part was riding through the creek :) read more

Fabulous tour with Ryan they did a great job to be sure we had an amazing time. Great family trip. Do the advanced route. Thanks Ryan!

Be very careful when paying. We presented their discount coupon seconds after we paid with the credit card. They would not re-ring it and give us our 10% discount, which would have been $27 dollars. On top of that we noticed after the fact there a $10.74 credit card processing fee. I told her I would pay cash if she would just cancel the credit card and ring it up agin. She said everything but the processing fee could be refunded. That charge should have been disclosed. Shame on you. read more

The WORST excursion I have EVER been on in my life! Huge waste of TIME and MONEY! First of all, we called in the morning to try to book 15 people and they said you had to reserve it AT the OFFICE and the whole party had to be there. Told us to come in an hour before and they would be able to accompany us for a 2PM ride. After waiting 2 hours in the heat we booked a tour for two days later to be able to all ride single riders. Then the tour itself sucked! Really sucked! If you enjoy riding an ATV between 3-8 MPH up a mountain trail to just get to the top for a picture and then just ride it back down on idle to go back to the post... then go ahead and waste your time and money on this company. And if you try to let the line in front of you go ahead ten feet so you can try to give it a little gas to get over the rocks the guy comes by and yells at you like you are in kindergarten. And when you get back to the bottom there is no soap to even wash your hands. WORST excursion EVER and RUDEST people running it! Unbelievable! So disappointed! Was supposed to be fun. I would rather do ANYTHING else! read more

Very fairly priced. Trails were 5 star and we were on novice. You get a full hours ride. Only knock was helmets a little nasty but I don't see a way around that unless you bring your own. Check in process was real slow one group at a time. Riding was 5 star and better than expected. read more

I didn't know what to expect but when we showed up at the ticket office to enquirer about the experience, I came across a family that had ridden their trail a couple of years earlier and raves about the experience. It was a blast! read more

Although it was interesting, not what we were hoping for at all. At home we are used to riding ATVs and four wheelers. We assumed we would get to drive them freely, not follow the guide in a single file line maxing out at like 11 miles an hour. I'm sure it would be an absolute blast for people who are not used to riding them all the time. Although it was pretty, it was pretty boring. Wouldn't do it again, especially not for the price. read more

Absolutely loved it!!! We wish we could have gone more than once, but we will be back soon! Very fun and different experience. keep up the good work read more

Highly recommend the 4 man UTV and 1.5 hour Mountain ride. Whole family loved it, fast paced 4X4 terrain with a couple stops to admire the views. read more

We had gone on an ATV trail once before in Hawaii, and this one was so good! My 18-year-old brother went on the hour and a half ride while my dad, mom, my friend, and myself went on the hour one. Instructions were simple to follow for first-time riders and the staff was very laid back with everything. Our entire group says that this was their favorite thing we did on our vacation. Overall, I highly, highly suggest planning your next adventure here! read more

As a family of 4 who are all new to ATVs we had a great time! We did the family course, which is very entry-level and perfect for a first run. I would love to do the 1 1/2 hour trip next time! The guide was friendly, took a photo of us on the bluff (beautiful view). A definite "must do" on your trip! My only advice is wear dark &/or old shoes!! read more

What a ride! Me and my adult sons took the custom ride fir our weekend. It was a great experience! I have taken a lot of ATV tours before but this was by far the most intense one ever! It cost a little more but it was worth it. We spent 2 hours of riding hard through rock beds, trails, creeks, and gulleys. All while at a very strong pace which is unusual for most tours, but safe as well. Great time. read more

Was talked into doing this by a friend, I have never rode an ATV before so I was super nervous, I chickened out a bit and opted for the Rhino instead, which my friend drove. We did the 1.5hr tour (I believe this is the 2nd option on the list). We had a blast! Our tour guide (I think his name was Rocky?) was awesome!! He took us off the course a bit and showed us some neat stuff, we took some pretty cool pics at the lookout point at the top. We were going pretty fast too, about 10 - 15mph up steep rock and it was SCARY but a ton of fun! Rocky did a good job of looking back to make sure we're all good. Overall it was a really fun time. One quick note, if you have never rode an ATV before I would opt for the Rhino because the 1.5 hr option we did was INTENSE. As soon as i got on the trail I was so happy I didn't get the ATV, I probably would have had to sit it out. I think for first time ATV-ers do the family intro tour although that one looked super boring. The 1.5hr was a lot of fun and you're going up a mountain the entire time but definitely pretty intense so beware! read more

Signed up for a one hour ride and based on the advertisement expected to be able to ride along the ridge and see mountain views. Well we didn't get over 10 mph and were never more than 600 yards from the garage. The best view I saw was the rear of the atv in front of me. No mountain vistas anywhere nrar where the guide took us. If you have ever been on an atv before stay away. No way was this worth $55 a person. read more

A must do activity when in the area. Feels a little expensive to start with, almost 70$ per person including taxes and insurance for an hour ride but it is definitely worth every penny. Our guide, Kyle was friendly and took us through some great trails, including one through a creek. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back to try a different trail. read more

Worst experience ever. You go about 4 miles per hour. Complained to guide about the speed and he did nothing. Yes, the sites are great, however the speed made it unbearable. We were in a group of 10 and everyone was miserable. Definitely do not recommend them. The biggest waste of money. Do yourself a favor and find another atv adventure to go on. read more

This was so much fun and was the highlight of our 3 day trip! It was well worth the money. The guide was very friendly and even let me use his gloves when my little mittens weren't warm enough. We are experienced ATV'ers and figured this place would be cheesy and run down but it was beautifil and a fun ride! It's up the mountain with a lot of rocks so you can't really go fast. We went in February so there was still snow on the ground and fresh snow up on the top. We played in the snow (we're Floridians, so it was a big deal) and had a great time. All of the ATVS and UTVS are well maintained, automatic and easy to manuever. For Novice or expert I would HIGHLY recommend this place. read more

The service at the desk is entirely to slow. We missed the ride time we needed because their was no sense of urgency from the women at the ticket desk. It should be taken into consideration the customer in line and the length of the line. Their were two women available but only one helping the line, the one was giving detailed descriptions of a lunch place to each group making the wait excessively long. We were third in line and it took 30 minutes to even get to the desk. Maybe two employees should be at the desk if they want to give this type of experience so it does not cause people to miss their ride times. read more

We had a good time, however as with any guided tour you get people with mixed level of experiance. We had one person on our tour (which was intended for more advanced riders) that slowed the rest of the group down. He had an expensive camera without a case and wanted to be sure it wasn't damaged. While I understand it's great to take pictures, it did make me enjoy my experiance less. If they offered it we probably would have opted for the private tour to avoid this sort of thing, but due to the number of reservations they weren't offering it at the time. They also started the tour a bit late waiting up for late arrivals, which always bothers me, since they tell you to show up 30 min early. If I take the time to show up early I shouldn't still have to wait for the people who don't. read more

Here for spring break! Our family of four loved the ATV tour. It was a great experience from start to finish! Our guide was fun and we always felt safe! Loved the experience! Thanks Ryan! read more

Let's start with the negatives. We had seen online before arrival that there's an hour and a half tour that said nothing about having prior ATV experience. It's called the Mountain Trail Adventure Ride. (Not to be confused with the hour and a half ridge run that is specifically for experienced drivers) That's the one we had planned to do all along and even before had I had emailed them about wanting to do that and they said all we had to do was go to the ticket office and buy our spots. When we got to the ticket office, the woman refused to allow us to do the hour and a half tour that shows more of the mountains and is much more fun of a ride, even though me and my boyfriend are in our 20s and he's had motor cross and ATV experience. She put us on the hour family ride and would not allow us to do anything else. We were literally going to pay more for the longer ride and we feel singled out, because this is our one time to ride the ATVs through the mountains since were on vacation, so we wanted the best experience and it was kept from us. Now to positives, On the ride, our guide, Chandler, was awesome and talkative and told us a lot of information about the area. We love him. We learned that the ticket office has let people with NO prior experience do the hour and a half ride. (Like people have literally tested out the course and decided not to follow through in the past or have felt comfortable and continued as it is their choice as PAYING ADULTS.) Yet we were not allowed. Which is quite obviously unfair and inappropriate to apply different standards to different groups. I guess my tip would be if you want to do the hour and a half, lie and say you ride ATVs all the time or else the lady at the desk could very well ruin your vacation plans. read more

My husband and I really enjoyed our ride today. Mike was an awesome and knowledgeable guide.

I can not say enough great things about this adventure. Dennis was out guide and he was funny, attentive and knowledgeable. I ask to get a little dirty and he accommodated. The views from the top of the mountain were gorgeous. I will 100% be doing this again and I will recommend it to everyone. I will say, I wish I knew that the guides accepted tips, I would have had some cash to give to Dennis. The front end at the office were great and very thorough with directions and information. read more

Had the most AMAZING time with Chris!!!! Worth every penny! Thanks for making our trip!!

This trip was AMAZING! My husband and I lucked out and we were the only one's on our trip. We took the hour and a half trip on the Ace's. Did I say it was AMAZING? Rocky was our guide and he was great. We got to see so much and the view was beautiful. This was by far the most fun we had on our entire trip. If we had time to do it a second time we would have. Can't wait to go back and take the kids. Also, the lady who helped us in the ticket office (wish I had gotten her name!) she was wonderful as well. Such friendly and helpful people. I highly recommend this company and this trip! read more

This was a total waste of money! I am not an experienced ATV rider but my boyfriend is so we got a rhino so he could drive. It was the most boring ride ever! The two points that we stopped at to look at the view were nice but that was it! The little stream that we went through to get back to the building we started at was nothing. The website is more exciting than the actual ride. Our tour guide was somewhat rude and the rules are very strict. We literally went no more than 10mph at any given time. read more

My boyfriend and I came here in March on a vacation to Gatlinburg. We opted for the two seater ATV and the 1 1/2 hour ride. The pricing was reasonable, and it was a blast! Our guide was very friendly and there were two awesome lookout points/photo opportunities. A lot of the trees were still dead because it was still cold outside but they didn't stop it from being gorgeous. Absolutely recommend you come here. read more

Absolutely amazing experience. My family and I were in town for the week for vacation and we decided to do the single ATVs and doubles! Ryan was our tour guide Monday and was absolutely incredible. I cannot express how great of a time we had and how awesome Ryan and Bluff mountain adventures were! I highly recommend them! read more

Rocky was awesome! He made sure that we had a blast with our 11 year old in the 3 person ATV. We are not regular ATV riders & it was an easy enough, but an exciting enough 1.5 hour trail that we were laughing, screaming & hanging on! It was the highlight of our vacation week. We got some beautiful pictures & we will definitely be doing this again when we come to town! You will get very dirty, especially if you're in the back of the tour like we were, but it was so worth it! We would have been thrilled with just the trail, but Rocky made it even better than we expected! read more

SO MUCH FUN! We had a group of 10 and they accommodated us well. We had 4 on single 4 wheelers and 6 on "Rhinos". It was a little foggy and rainy, but that just added to our fun. The "trails" are rough and you really get the off-road experience. We were climbing over boulders, racing in streams and splashing through puddles. I just wish there would have been a few more places to stop and see the view! read more

We had a blast today! The whole staff was extremely helpful from when we signed up to Ryan, our tour guide. We had a group of four and one of us was very hesitant and had a great time and said that it was worth every penny and would go back and do it again. The views are stunning and give you an experience that is not common to the Pigeon Forge tourist attractions. I would highly recommend Bluff Mountain. read more

We were totally misinformed on this adventure as we thought it would be a true ATV tour through the mountains. What we got was a super slow, non scenic tour. The maximum speed we went was only 7 miles per hour and the guide was only like 15 years old and a horrible tour guide. I would have had more fun riding the go-carts in town, I and our entire group only recommend this trip only if you're a child or senior citizen as there no true adventure in going so slow on an ATV tour! read more
