    We stayed at an oceanfront property located on Mission Beach from 8/1 - 8/6 for our mini honeymoon. We had the upstairs unit which advertised a full glass wall that opened to the ocean. When we walked in we immediately saw that one of the window coverings was missing and another that wouldn't open because it was broke. In the living area, the area rug had stains as well as the furniture. The TV remotes were sticky to the touch and had hair stuck on them. In the bedroom, the nightstands were stained and the master bathroom sink was slow drinking due to hair and gunk which was visible when using the sink. This is only a small list of issues we experienced during our stay. The worst part of our stay was noticed when I was packing my suitcase which I had placed in the 2nd bedroom, I happened to look up and saw behind the TV that was mounted on the wall a child's pull-up diaper. To think that my clothes and wedding dress were in that room for 5 nights is absolutely disgusting. I would never stay at this particular property again. With a cost of over $6,000 to stay here we feel that we were ripped off because the property was nothing like it was advertised. Extremely disappointing......

    Very disappointed and honestly pissed. I booked my stay through Airbnb, for a staycation for my boyfriend and his family for his 30th birthday. A week out from the rental some of his family members unfortunately got Covid and he also needed to quarantine. Instead of canceling, I reached out to the team to see if we could push the rental to a later date. I was told because it was within one month of our arrival date they were unable to change the reservations and that I could reach out to airbnb to see if they're able to help. I was left with no choice but to cancel my reservation and my refund $300 for a cleaning fee...the full rental charge all theirs.... This company doesn't care about anything but making money. As an owner of a floral business and going through Covid, and having many weddings and events cancelled and giving everyone of our costumers FULL refunds, even though we had to be closed and almost not making through this last year... businesses like this make me sick.

    Everything we wanted for our stay! Home was clean, well maintained and very comfortable - they had coffee and filters - kitchen had all appliances and cookware - (no foil or baggies or cellophane wrap) just something you should think of if you want to wrap or store food. They did supply body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion for each bathroom, there were also blow dryers in each bath. TV's in family room and both bedrooms. Location is amazing short walk to beach, which we strolled down to multiple times a day! Close by coffee shop and 7-11 and stores to stock up on food. I would recommend to anyone and would come back!

    Excellent management company. Very responsive and reasonable people…read more I've been at the same location since 2018 and have been through a number of owners and management companies. These guys are the best by far. Recently we had a pest control company come out for preventive maintenance on a number of units. The pest control company assured everyone that no special care needed to be taken to protect our belongings from an all-day heat treatment of our units. Well the treatment ended up damaging a lot of property, both belonging to individual tenants like me (shoes, computer monitor, etc.), and also belonging to the property owner (such as warping plastic blinds). I've been working closely with Sean and Laura at Advantage Team to resolve the issue. Sean came out to see all of the damage in person and could not have been more sincerely apologetic and reassuring that I would be made whole. And today, Laura e-mailed me to ask whether I'd like a check or a rent credit for my damaged property. While the liability does seem to lie with the pest control company, Laura said her team would prefer to take care of me now so I don't have to wait, and that they'll pursue the pest control company for reimbursement on their own. Really an above and beyond gesture. My experience with virtually every other management company is that you need to be prepared to go to small claims court to be made whole in a situation like this. So it was a huge relief to realize I would not need to do that. Sean and Laura have been nothing but honest, friendly, and helpful throughout this ordeal. And that's also been my general experience over the last few years they've been managing. I expect to be here a few more years and I really hope these guys are the managers for the rest of that time. Thanks a lot, you guys.

We would literally show up to their office to ask questions and no one would be at the office. ZERO COMMUNICATION. They are actually awful I have never rented from anyone worse and I've been renting from different landlords every year from 2019-present. Like they are worse than the landlords I had on SDSU's campus, and that says a lot (if you know, you know). Termites, cockroaches, spiders, an absurd amount of mold and they don't care!!! I don't even leave reviews on anything but they are so bad I had to.

    Someone broke my front window last weekend while I was gone. I called up the Shore, and they fixed…read moreit that day... within hours... and it was a perfect job. Also, pretty crazy what just happened... I just got a message from Shore Management on Yelp today telling me that the windows in my building are going to be replaced in the next few months... I was actually JUST about to call them this week to talk about my window leaking from around the frame during the crazy El Nino-esk storm we just had. So obviously these guys are on top of their shit.

The second one on paper was fantastic, but during my tour I noticed the shower's water pressure wasn't working properly (split between the faucet), the freezer was overworked (really loud fan) but wasn't actually cold--I suspect it needs to be replaced entirely-- and the cabinet paint was bubbling above the hood too, probably from overheating!! The worst part was the yard, completely unsafe for move-in with rotten 2x4s, an old dog house, grass growing through the concreted and a huge hole in the fence. And this is just what I could see in 20 mins!!! As a dog owner, I knew I couldn't bring my pet to this place without significant repairs to the yard, which was supposed to be the selling point of the apartment. When I voiced that I would need to be reassured that these clear issues would be addressed, and put into writing, I kept getting texts from Christine and Alyssa that "these things" could be taken care of, but never would they write in an email about what would be done by my move in date. Of course, they still had the time to email me about my current landlord and other minor things, lol. It's so unethical that they'd send me a lease and tell me I needed to complete my move-in paperwork and can't even list what repairs this apartment needed. I will never be applying to a Shore apartment again!! Save the money and put in your apps elsewhere, folks
