We, my son, my wife and myself, ate here for the first time today, for lunch. First, parking was great. My son uses a wheel chair and the entrance and the floors were very easy to roll on. And nice clean open dining room. 2nd, the staff greeted us and made a quick accommodation to get a chair out of the way so my son could easily roll up to the table. 3rd, the staff was timely and attentive without hovering. 4th, the food. Yum yum. Started with a half order of their nachos. So good. Definitely big enough for 3 as a starter. My son and I had the carna asada tacos. Lots of flavor, not too spicy, but had some heat. The chimichura sauce was excellent. The 3 tacos were definitely enough, especially after the nachos. My wife had a big salad with steak on top. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. My son and I, each, only finished 2 tacos and my wife, who never takes leftovers home, took half of her salad home. I had the oatmeal stout, very smooth with great flavor. My wife had their in house homemade, craft root beer and my son had the craft cream soda. Both were excellent. Based on my first experience, I definitely recommend this place. Worth a trip from afar. We love stopping at this restaurant on the way to and from the Finger Lakes from the NY City area. Excellent service by Taylor. I love the tuna tacos. Yummy sweet and sour slaw. Ordered the tuna rare. Comes as a set of three tacos. Supposed to come with a spicy mayo. Did not use the mayo that I requested on the side; the dish was tasty without it. I can't wait to return and have this dish again. Also enjoyed a glass of hard cider. Warning: GPS tells you to turn in the wrong place. Met friends here after work on a Thursday night. Did not disappoint. The atmosphere is typical of a brew pub: large vats, high ceilings, tall tables. The servers were buzzing around the room, happy to help answer questions and making sure everyone was served. Brooke helped us and was great. I ordered a Celestial Lotus IPA which was delicious! For dinner, coconut shrimp. The shrimp was a little spicy and very crunchy=perfect in my book. Highly recommend. And when traveling you always hope for good food and service in an unfamiliar area and Bluestone did not disappoint at all ! I like to visit local breweries when I can. Bluestone has a nice clean facility that is only a few years old. The beers are good with a variety of styles that should accommodate everyone. What really amazed me was how good the food is. The menu is small but I think the items on it must all be really good. I had a cup of squash soup and the fried bologna sandwich. All local supported farm food items. If the beer doesn't get you back, the food will. Additionally the staff are very friendly read more

We stopped here on a road trip based on good reviews. For us it was a total letdown. The food was very generic and all obviously pre-packaged. They don't even serve fries with burgers because they don't have a fryer. The chips were totally stale. The service was not very friendly or engaging. To top it off there are multiple notices throughout the dining room and even on the receipt that there is a 3 percent discount for paying cash. We paid with cash but we're not given the discount. Not worth the uncomfortableness of addressing but obviously we won't be back and we won't recommend it to our friends coming through for the same event we are attending. 2 stars for being conveniently located off the highway and because it really do try to support all that is local. read more

We came here today after a hike and this was the best spot to come. We were dressed really casually and didn't feel out of place. We sat and ate indoors. But they do have an outdoor area where they do drinks only. It is a family family place and dog friendly outdoors. He food was really good. They did have a smaller menu, but they had a variety of options. My boyfriend doesn't eat beer or pork and he still managed to find something on the menu. My best friend is a vegan and they had vegan and vegetarian options. That's something I really appreciate. The beers were really good. They had a good options of beers, cider and seltzer's. I'm Not sure if it is seasonal or all year round but I really enjoyed the options. I ended up taking home a growler of the maple beer which I really enjoyed. The flights were good sized portions along with a nice set up plan to go from lightest to darkest beers. If I'm ever in the area again I would come back it was a place that I really enjoyed. Catching up on Yelp reviews from my New England vacation back in mid-October. We stopped by Sayre, PA on our way home back to Chicago. The staff at the Hampton Inn recommended Bluestone Brewery for dinner, which was right next door. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Friday night and were seated immediately. They had a nice outdoor patio with heat and the place was pretty nice on the inside. I ordered a flight of beers. My favorites were the Howlin Pumpkin and Blue & White Ale. The others were decent, but nothing spectacular. The Strawberry seltzer was very good and probably the best seltzer I have ever had! I've only had whiteclaws, trulys, and high noons and Bluestone was the winner as you could actually taste real strawberries and it did not taste artificial. The Ahi Tuna tacos were excellent! The pink tuna was kind of a turnoff as it looked super raw, but it was very fresh and had a ton of flavor. The tacos were pretty big too so it was very good value! Prices were cheap and the food was great! I think the flight was only like $10 and five 2-3oz pours. Overall, Bluestone Brewing was very good! I thought they had some decent beer and some great food! I thought it was a kind of random place to have a brewery, but it is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area! read more

Brews and burgers! The burgers here are awesome! The black bean burger is a great option for vegetarians. I enjoyed the steak salad and the portion was generous. Start with the pulled pork nachos! The beer list has some fun flavors I went with snickerdoodle which reminded me of cookies! :) There's live music on Saturday nights. The beer is made on-site (I don't think they serve others' brews). A nice selection of beers, including porters, stouts and 2 Nitro beers. Home brewed soda is on tap. Today they had ginger and root beers as well as orange soda. They also serve PA wines by the glass. Try their 8 oz burgers. They looked fantastic when we were here. Or go for one of the chalkboard specials. The food and atmosphere are both really nice. Outdoor dining is available. They're located right off interstate 86 (old rt. 17) at PA 220. Very easy on and off the highway, if you happen to be traveling along either highway. Closed on Sundays. Open for lunch and dinner. read more

Great place for dinner. I had the Jalapeño BBQ Bacon Burger and was very surprised when a gourmet style burger came out. The patty was thicker than a hockey puck! It was cooked just the way I asked (medium) and it was juicy. Although, the flavors stated in the name were a bit underwhelming. I'd recommend just getting the regular burger because the patty was really the star of the show. One complaint I'll make is about the side of kettle chips. They are very clearly store-bought. Why not make house made chips or even fry some fries?? While there are some areas for improvement, I'd very much recommend stopping here for a burger and a drink! I'd go back again! read more
