Like many others I was also recommended to try this program by a few friends. I'm glad I took their advice. My teacher was Branden Frankel, who also taught my friend. I took the classroom course in April and continued with the online course after in preparation of this coming September exam.
Branden's class was nothing short of awesome, incredibly helpful and very informative. Amiable, approachable, kind, accommodating, patient and caring. He is attentive of his students and their needs as a whole and individually.
He uses many methods to explain the challenging information. Visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners, have no fear. He demonstrates the questions, solutions and study tools- draws them out, explains them and makes you practice and work through them. Whatever it takes to get you to understand, he will do.
He's also hilarious. So the class never felt boring. I had fun, laughed a ton, enjoyed myself and learned not just about the test, but also about law jobs, schools, scores, applications, practices, and even about myself as a person and student. He's a very effective and efficient teacher.
Branden definitely went above and beyond for his students. He always made sure to stay after class to answer questions and help out. He'd also come early to class which offered even more time to get extra help. Endless respect and appreciation for him.
Course:
The course really helped me understand the nature of the exam, which helped me reach the right mindset in order to face the test with a cool head and a calm heart.
It helped me understand how to tackle the test strategically. By thoroughly explaining the types of questions, how to work through them, how to approach each individual section, and helping me pin point my strengths and weaknesses. With Branden's guidance, I was able to use all that info and play my strengths to my advantage and improvement. This allowed me to work through my sore spots and improve them with more time and less stress.
Long story short. Blueprint definitely provides the tools necessary to better understand the exam and efficiently complete it to the best of our abilities. But how you perform is entirely on you.
So voila. I highly recommend the classroom course. I recommend taking some extra time using the online course too following completion of the class. Be patient and honest with yourself. Don't give up. Have a little faith. You'll do great.
8 days until my test day! I feel calm, collected and so much less stressed. I feel prepared and maybe even a little confident. While I'm hoping luck will be on my side, I know that I'm ready and I don't actually need it. I've got this.
Ps: suggestion for blueprint. The mobile apps need a little TLC. Had issues highlighting when practicing. Would be cool if the stimuli was on a page formatted as an open image file. One we can work on.
A tool bar on the side maybe. So that we can highlight while reading, but also have options for a pen, circle and underline tool.
That would allow us the option to underline, scribble or write in and around the stimulus with our fingers or accessories like stylus pens when using our phones or tablets- much like how we would when actually taking the exam. read more
