I absolutely love that they come to your house and that the session is an hour and a half, which provides enough time to make progress. I am already planning on using them during the summer so that our daughter doesn't lose much knowledge in that time off. Our tutor Austin Rosen was extremely helpful with working with our son who struggled in Chemistry. With his 8 week session, he went from a 50% in the class, to excelling and passing the course with an 85%. He was patient and very helpful and flexible with our needs.

The tutor suggested tutoring via zoom to my Client. I told the tutor I didn't want tutoring services via zoom and that's not what I paid for. She told me that she would not be providing services in-person unless her supervisor told her she had to. I called the supervisor and haven't been called back. I'm not clear why the employee of the company feels they are in a position to changes services with a minor and not first consult with the person that paid for the service and signed the contract. Completely outrageous! She tried to tell me she agreed he needed in-person tutoring but felt this was a good way to build rapport. This is completely maddening. Especially when I can't get a timely call back from said "supervisor" on the issue.

My son Cameron started Kumon when he was in first grade, over five years ago. Since then he has always been in the top of his class for math and reading. My daughter Eden started in kindergarten four years ago and she is currently dividing and multiplying fractions and she is also reading close to a seventh grade level. From the very beginning it was clear how much Priti and her husband care about their work and making a real difference in the academic lives of the children they work with. Numerous times they have made special arrangements to get together with my son who is working on very challenging algebra that my wife and I are no longer able to help him with. Priti's husband has gone out of his way to spend countless hours with the kids and also privately advising us about all the things we can do to prepare them for the SAT and future collegiate plans. I have been moved by the amount of passion they have to help kids succeed. If you're serious about education and giving your kids a leg up in our fiercely competitive academic atmosphere, I would highly recommend checking these guys out.

I was referred to Danny's tutoring by a friend of my son who spoke very highly of the individualized tutoring their family was receiving. After we reached out to find out more, my son was paired with a tutor who was also a student at a college on the other side of the country. I was concerned at first about the time difference but the tutor has been exceptional in every way. I put my son, the tutor and myself on a group text thread (after meeting with the tutor) and for months now, it's enabled my son to independently and responsibly manage his time, his tutoring schedule as well, taught him to be at the his laptop in a conducive space in order to respectfully maximize his time with his tutor each week. In addition, the tutor is amazing and customizes each session with content relevant to what is going on for my son in school that week. We are now getting through finals and I found him doing his tutor's recommended worksheets on a Saturday morning without prompting or asking him to do so. Danny's Tutoring is the kind of organization that empowers the students, helps the families, and doesn't charge you an arm and a leg. I truly believe they have the students' best interests at heart, and they care about helping these kids learn how to study, how to build self esteem in subjects they struggle in, and give them a sense of ownership of their individual process. My son's grades have gone up in Math and Spanish, two subjects he was really struggling with 8 months ago. I can't say enough great things about them, and especially about Makena our son's tutor. She is accommodating, flexible, and knows how to inspire and encourage my son to be successful with this entire process. Highly recommend for any family anywhere. Thank you Danny's Tutoring and Makena for making this year so good for my son, for our family, for alleviating all of the previous anxiety and test stress. And for being genuinely supportive and helping through the toughest of times this last year. We are so appreciative and so happy to have found your team!! The BEST!!
