If you need to obtain or renew your BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, I can think of no better person to help you than Amber. Her class was very streamlined, there was no wasted downtime. She is also a very good instructor, and made things easy to understand. I had my entire office come in for training and all of us had a great time in what is usually a not-so-fun environment. read more

Amber is an awesome instructor. Very accommodating to your schedule. I took my PALS with her. Lots of good info. Highly recommend.

I took the american heart association portion online and the skills course in person, all through Amber. I loved it! The online course is so much faster than watching the videos in class. The online course and training in person took about an hour all together vs my last traditional class which took 4 hours! It was a lot cheaper too. Perfect for anyone! Amber is fun yet very effective in making sure you understand what you are learning. She lets you leave confident that you can save a life. Plus she brought the training to my house which was super accommodating. Her equipment was all new and really high quality. I recommend this to everyone. read more

Lockhart 4 Life - Star of the show - CPR Classes Near Me - Newhall, California

Just completed my second class with Amber (BLS & ACLS). Great information, and Amber always keeps it fun and stress free. I've been elsewhere for my BLS but Amber's website, classes and ease of registration was far and away the best ( and less expensive). Both Amber and her husband bring lots of experience to the classroom from their jobs. I highly recommend Lockhart 4 Life!! read more

I took my ACLS and PALS (1/14/19 & 1/16/19 respectively). Amber (ER RN) and her husband Kevin (paramedic) did well in teaching the content, making us critical think, helping us in the hands on skills and preparing the group for the exam. This has been a really helpful certification class because it just puts together in a full circle the basics and pushes it to advanced level. Super happy I took it and would happily recommend to everyone! read more

Amber is Amazing! I've taken my BLS and ACLS with her. She is VERY informative and knowledgeable of the content. The location is convenient and her class is clean. She even provide snacks and drinks to help you get through those long hour courses. I've learned a lot in both classes and I will most definitely go back to her when it's time for my PALS certification and/or any recertifications. Amber is friendly and passionate about what she does. I would highly recommend her for any certifications and recertifications. Go check her out...you won't regret it! Thanks Amber! read more

PALS recert was fast, painless, and informative! Amber is a great instructor and accommodating. Highly recommend!

My ACLS and PALS certs were expiring soon (literally a in 5 days) after calling multiple locations and not getting any luck, I was in full panic mode. I called Amber with Lockhart 4 Life and she was able to get me in the next day! She made special arrangements to meet with me one on one. I was able to renew my ACLS and PALS in the same day! Amber was very knowledgeable and had tons of real life examples to help support the material we were going over. The location was very well kept and there was lots of parking available. I highly recommend this location. My favorite part was running the real life scenario codes, it really helped brush up skills in the Peds department. I'm most definitely coming back in two years when it's time for renewal! read more

Awesome BLS class. She is so friendly, very welcoming and teaches an amazing class! She gives additional information about things that aren't normally taught in a CPR class which was nice. It's through the AHA which is what most schools, hospitals etc want. read more

Loved this experience! Pricey, but so worth it. I took a 12 hour EKG/ACLS and BLS cert course. Got a great deal coming in with a big group! I highly recommend getting 13 or more people in the same class for a large discount. Amber the instructor is wonderful! Free lunch and snacks were provided and she tells the funniest stories to break up the boring stuff. read more

Very informative and thorough certification class! The reference materials provided are very useful beyond the classroom. Will definitely go to amber again! read more

It is vital as a mom and as head of a Kids Club to keep my CPR skills up to date. I am a busy mom so having a condensed, flexible CPR class fit my life perfectly. Amber was very informative and answered all my questions. She had a wealth of knowledge from her nursing and ER background. The format of taking the class with friends made it fun which I think will solidify the knowledge more. Additionally, when out with my friends, I know they have general CPR skills and we could work together in an emergency. I will be recommending this to my friends and my church. read more

Highly recommend! I renewed my ACLS and BLS at the same time, and on very short notice. Amber really knows what she is talking about, and I enjoyed seeing actual rhythm strips of things rarely seen in the hospital. It felt less intimidating than other places I have taken the class. I plan to use this place again, and will recommend to my friends. read more

I am so grateful to have found Amber for my ACLS/ PALS/ BLS needs. I recently had to obtain my PALS cert for a new job on very short notice and Amber was very accommodating to my schedule. She was always very easy to get a hold of and most importantly, she was a fantastic teacher. She really put my stress at ease with the code/testing situations, which allowed me just to relax and focus on the new skills. I will definitely be back. read more

I am so lucky I found Amber's ACLS/ BLS/ PALS/ EKG classes. The classroom is a low stress and comfortable learning environment. We watched videos, then Amber reiterated in detail what the video explained, which was VERY helpful. Plus we got hands on experience of interpreting EKGs, CPR, intubation, and intraosseous infusions. I HIGHLY recommend this class. read more

Wow, I never thought I would learn EKGs so quickly! Amber is really knowledgeable and what I loved the most is being able to ask questions during the class... She really does her best to individualize her teaching and accommodate every learning style. Also what I really liked is that she brought real EKG strips (not just textbook strips) which made me a lot more comfortable and prepared for looking at hospital strips. I took the acls and pals course too, and although it's a lot of information, I would say I walked out of there feeling much more confident in being part of a code! So glad I took these classes with her. Will be back in two years for my recertification! read more

I did my CPR/AED training last night for adult, child, and infant. It was very easy to understand. Amber taught the class. She was by far the best instructor I have ever had when taking a CPR class. She has had a lot of experience in the Emergency field and gave real life scenarios. I left feeling prepared. The practice dummies were very helpful when learning pressure and pace. I know that I will be using her again when I need to renew again. I would recommend her for sure! Thank you for a great experience! read more

All I can say is WOW! Amber was so thorough, yet her instruction was very easy to follow. I am 57 years old and have never taken a CPR class. You can shame me but I'm sure I'm not the only one. I was scared to even try. I thought this was so much harder than it really was. Amber put me at ease the entire time. Constantly encouraging me with words like "your doing really well". I say she was thorough because of the experience I had the very next day. I was on the dreadful 405 freeway when a three car accident happens directly in front of me. I was far enough back to miss being a part of it however close enough to see these cars turning and twisting around in the lanes. As I approached, I found my self assessing the surrounding area. As I continued to get closer I was looking in the vehicles for drivers and passengers who may need help. Fortunately for all of them, they were sitting up and looking around dazed but all were moving and definitely breathing fine. I was the first car to pass by the cars. I reached to call 911. As I passed on by I realized. WOW! I felt prepared. I was following the steps I had been taught by Amber and I was ready to step in and help. What a difference Amber has made in my life. Now I even feel prepared if one of my 10 grandchildren need help as well. Thank you Amber!! read more
