On weekends, it can be overwhelming trying to move around with the amount of people inside, especially when groups of teens are hanging out and testing everything. It's a tight space for the volume of shoppers they get, and it can feel a bit claustrophobic at times. On top of that, the constant mix of fragrances being sprayed can give me a headache, so I've learned to avoid peak hours. I usually stop by mid-day during the week or later in the evening when things calm down a bit. It's Sephora, so the crowds are expected, but this location would really benefit from a little more breathing room. Still, it's my favorite spot for my go-to beauty staples, just not on a Saturday afternoon. The staff always ask if I need help, and most times I don't, but they're always around to assist.

Even when looking for her, I passed by numerous associates and not one asked could they help. I had to finally ask one if they could help me find Susan to which she pointed "there she is". Also with all the people standing around (even at the front door, three of them are having a photo session) you would think that the store would be cleaner. Karen was amazing and genuinely tried to help, but unfortunately the system would not allow the exchange because of how the items were originally purchased. I completely understood that, and I know rules are rules. I was perfectly fine with that outcome. The reason this experience became so disappointing was because one of the lead cashiers, who I believe was named Molly (I apologize if I have the wrong name), was incredibly rude and spoke to me in a condescending manner. The moment it was explained that the items couldn't be exchanged because they were purchased with an employee discount, I was ready to take my items and leave. I understood the policy and wasn't arguing or asking for an exception. Instead, Molly continued explaining the policy over and over in a way that made me feel like I wasn't understanding what had already been explained. I wasn't being difficult--I simply accepted the answer. There was no reason to continue talking down to me or make me feel embarrassed. A few minutes later, I decided to go back into the store because I still wanted the products. Since the exchange wasn't possible, I was just going to purchase the items myself. At that point, Molly explained that I couldn't purchase the items using my sister's employee discount because she wasn't there. That was confusing and honestly frustrating because I had never asked to use my sister's employee discount. I completely understood that the discount was only valid for the employee. I was simply trying to purchase the items at the regular price. That interaction made me feel like she assumed I didn't understand something that had already been explained. I respected the store's policy from the beginning, accepted that the exchange wasn't possible, and was simply trying to purchase the products like any other customer. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed and disrespected. I do want to recognize Karen because she was kind, patient, and genuinely tried to help me. She handled the situation professionally and with empathy. Unfortunately, Molly's attitude completely overshadowed what could have been a positive experience. I understand that every store has policies, and I never expected anyone to break them for me. My issue has never been with the policy--it was with the way I was treated. Customers deserve to be spoken to with respect, even when the answer is no.

If you haven't visited in the past five years or so, it's definitely worth another look -- the brand has evolved quite a bit. The staff at this location were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They offered thoughtful recommendations for both skincare and hair care based on specific concerns I mentioned, which I really appreciated. I also left with samples of the products I was interested in trying -- something I love that they offer, as it makes it easy to test items before committing.
