I have been a loyal member of Palm Beach Tan for 15 years, across three moves and three different cities, and I've always appreciated the great service and friendships I've built through my membership. However, my experience today at the Beach Street location in Fort Worth was the worst I've ever encountered. Arianah, who claims to be the manager, attempted to charge me a $10 fee for using the Versa Spa tanning booth, something I have never been charged for in all my years as a member. When I called another location on speakerphone to confirm that this charge was incorrect, they agreed with me and offered to let me tan there. Despite this, Arianah insisted on the fee and even called a former employee, pretending she was still in charge, which became clear when the woman slipped up and admitted she no longer worked there. Arianah refused to look up my tanning history, denied me the service I've had for 15 years, and even threatened to cancel my membership and call the police on me for no reason other than my insistence that I shouldn't be charged. Her unprofessional behavior, coupled with the inappropriate attire she was wearing, was not only unprofessional but also a very poor reflection of Palm Beach Tan. I hope management will address this situation quickly. If I do not receive a call from someone in leadership to resolve this, I will be forced to cancel my long-standing membership and post my reviews online about this location on other sites. She is very unprofessional and was also laying on the couches in the front when I came in. read more

This store has improved SO MUCH since I was last a member here! I went for a one time spray tan and immediately noticed how clean every room was as one of the employees walked me to the back for the spray. Now that I'm a member again the store is finally back to opening on time!!!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone read more

I have used this location for the past few years and have had good experiences. I have never been pushed into purchasing anything just given knowledgeable suggestions which are appreciated! I've had 2 bad experiences this week with this Planet Tan. Employees are not trained well before left alone to run the store. She tried to tell me I couldn't do a few different things that later (after a call to her trainer) she found out could be done. She was very quiet and mumbled and couldn't tell half of the time if she was speaking to me or the lady on the phone. They upped their prices on merchandise this year but the merchandise still says lower prices. They should have to go with the prices listed on the products. Then yesterday, it was supposed to open at 8:00 and they did not show up until 8:40 and didn't apologize even though 2 of us were out there waiting on her to open. I went in and it was dirty in the room she sent me to. Again, she was very blah and totally acted as though she didn't want to be there. Check the photos. I am very disappointed in this place lately. They should work on training their employees, keeping it more clean, and employee retention. I don't need a bubbly person but someone nice would be appreciated. read more

Was offered a package at the end of summer 2021 to pay a onetime upgrade charge to upgrade until the end of 2022 i was charged $130 for this upgrade just to be told later that I shouldn't have been offered the upgrade based on my membership. I never asked for it they offered it to me more than once and I decided to go ahead and do it just to be treated like I did something wrong and treated like I am asking for a hand out anytime I ask for what I PAID for. I have quit going because of this yet have still been paying my membership fees monthly on top of the advance payment I had already made. read more

Disappointing experience. If you can visit another Planet Tan location, I recommend it. The staff was friendly but the floors were grimy and the equipment seems sub par compared to the three other locations I frequent (Keller, Southlake, and Euless). read more

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. They aren't just in the business of selling tanning memberships, they are selling SKIN CARE. Tanning isn't worth it if you aren't taking care of your skin. Since this location has moved and I'm told under new management, it has not been the same courteous staff. When I purchased a package deal they had on special, from their store, I was not informed that the package had a time limit on it. When trying to rectify the situation, the new manager's solution was "buy more and I can give them back to you." I did not want to purchase more but to use what I had already purchased. After she stated "give me a minute and let me see what I can work out" I waited 30 minutes and she had the same solution. She also tries to push every product they have on you. Recently visited this salon . It was nice easy to get to clean & nice beds. I notice on there website that they offer @ some locations level 6 beds now wich are 8-12 minute beds. This location doesn't have that particular model but does offer up to level 5. But in order to get the level five beds it's 109$ a month. With no sign up fee . But if u signed up on this particular day you could lock price in for 80$ a month. To me that is overpriced especially since all locations do not offer the same level of service. I currently tan at mega tan and can use all level beds up to there level five for 54$ a month . The only reason I'm looking for somewhere new is because I have moved and it's not as easy to get to mega tan from where I am now. But for the nice beds and great price I will stick with them. Sorry planet tan you need to be a bit more competitive with the pricing . read more

I will never go to another Planet Tan thanks to the employees at this site. I signed up in January for their monthly tanning service and was told that if I cancelled by the 25th of the previous month I wouldn't be charged. So on February 24th I cancelled and was given no paper work but wasn't worried about it because I honestly didn't think they'd screw me over. Well when the first of March rolled around I was out of town and didn't check my account, but on the second I realized that they had charged me, so I called the store and talked with a guy. He told me that I did NOT cancel on the 24th, but that I cancelled on the first, which was not true. I told him there was no way that I was even in the store that day because I was out of town, but he wasn't hearing it. He got such an attitude with me and was of no help. He told me in a snotty challenging tone "Well, I can check the cameras." I told him yes I wanted him to indeed check the camera, and then he said "No, no. That take too much time. I left a not for the manager to call you back in the morning." The next morning, I called her and supposedly there was no note, so I explained my situation. I was expecting the manager to be someone older and more mature, but this was not the case. In fact, she was giving me the same snotty attitude and the other employee had. I asked her to check the cameras and she out right refused to help me. She basically told me she was too busy for me and told me to just call corporate. So instead of taking two minutes to help me, when I was planning on signing up again this summer, she blew me off and refused to help me figure out the situation. I don't like being called a liar and on top of it they wouldn't even bother looking to see if it was true or not. This is my worst experience with ANY business ever. read more
