Signing up for a unit was very easy, the prices were cheaper than any other fenced storage facilities in Georgetown, the unit looked like new when we got it, and the security fence around the property made us feel safe when we were there at night. We met the owner one night we were there and he was very friendly and very adamant about keeping everything in tip top shape. If we need a storage building in the future I won't hesitate to go back to them. They are the only storage company I will consider using in Georgetown.

After sending me all around town I ended up back here at 9:30 and I was fuming mad. Wasted almost 2 hours and one the phone with U-Haul which was no help. I believe the lady at American Storages name was Marcia but I'm not 100% sure. Explained to her what was happening, this lady had a calming effect and made a nightmare into a pleasant experience. Maybe the customer service people at U-Haul could learn from her. Such a sweet lady, thank you so much for your help and calm attitude!!!

The unit I originally reserved was not ready or even accessible when I came for move in. I have been there at least 10 times during their business hours and never are they there. Someone was able to get into the facility cut my lock off my unit and steal hundreds of dollars of items from my unit. That is just to list off a few situations over this summer: Literally I would feel better about storing my items in a plastic bag in a bush off Georgetown road because at least I would not have to deal with this place.

He charges a 50.00 late fee, one day after its due then charges late fees on top of late fees. He's not open at the times listed. He has a drop box that you can leave money orders or checks but the box is not secure. If you try to make a payment at the office, there is a sign that says we are in and out, check back. Oh, and if schools are closed, he's not in either. So, if your payment is due on Wednesday, you better try to make a payment at least a week to two weeks in advance, cause if he's not in or he's "out" and you don't pay, you get a late fee and possibly more fees, plus 3 days being late. He sends a notice that your storage locker is being auctioned off. If you get this letter, you have to pay your fees, late fees any other fees he desires plus a 100.00 lawyer fee. Oh, and if you call to ask about the late fees or dispute the fees, he'll tell you "if you don't like it...MOVE OUT"! So, in closing, spend an extra 10.00 bucks a month and go to someplace better, hell ask a crackhead to watch your items.
