We took a chance with From Here To There. We had not heard of them since they are a newer company but they have a lot of moving experience. The folks at Blue Moon Estate Sales highly recommended them. We used them to move a piece we purchased at a sale and were impressed so we thought we'd give it a try for moving the house. We were NOT disappointed! They used two crews since we had things in multiple locations. Each crew communicated with us throughout the move. Every person gave 110% effort and they all kept moving--there was no slacking off by anyone. Nothing was damaged in the move. The prices were great. And the attitudes, professionalism, and commitment were as positive as could be. There were also willing to take things to Habitat ReStore for us which was a huge help. We would definitely use them again! But it will probably just be for large pieces from sales and Marketplace. After doing this move, we're not going anywhere for a while! read more

I once moved five times in a seven year period and I can tell you not one of them was as easy and efficient as my move with From Here to There. Communication with Jyre to set things up was smooth and pleasant and gave me a very confident feeling about trusting them with my move. My moving crew was Connor and James Lee and you could not find more polite and hard-working young men. I liked having a lead person that day to make sure things were done correctly and Connor was great at that. Unlike other moves, not one thing was broken or damaged. They did six hours of driving during the day and were just as strong and quick at the end as they were at the beginning. I had a lot of odd shaped furniture that did not stack well so there were things that could not fit in the truck and they made sure it all fit in one small storage unit. From Here to There made my move very easy. I have used them countless times. They are easy to communicate with and handle my items with care. They work very hard while on the clock and waste ZERO time which I appreciate because they charge by the minute. They also assembled some beds for me which they were knowledgeable and efficient at. The business is small and selective in who they hire, which I appreciate when bringing people into my home. They often can fit my move in next day. They are notably less expensive than Wildcat but consistently more reliable. Any time something small goes wrong, which in any move is possible, they go out of their way to make it right and for that I will be a customer for life! read more

These movers were EXCELLENT. I had them move (we had already packed the boxes and wrapped the furniture) a big house full off antique furniture and furnishings for storage. They fit it all in a 16' box. They were very careful and professional. Another time, they helped load a large antique corner cabinet in a Uhaul for my brother. Again, excellent, careful and professional work! Will definitely use them again if I can ever get a dry roof on my house. It was roofed 2 1/2 yrs ago by Dynamic Restoration and gas been leaking ever since. Won't accept accountability. But FROM HERE TO THERE are a great bunch of people to work with! read more

From Here to There moved items from Room Service on Liberty Road to my apartment in town (Lexington). Booking the service was easy and everyone I spoke to on the phone was lovely. They even checked in the day before to see if I had added items to my move. My movers, Brennen and Hope were great! They were timely on arrival and protected my newel post and walls while moving items upstairs. I had a large dresser and chest of drawers moved and they were in and out within 15-20 mins. We're moving my 90 year-old Mom out of her big house and into a more practical space -- and she has several pieces of furniture she wanted to make sure went to her grandkids. My sister and I purchased a heavy old armoire from an estate sale on Saturday. We contacted From Here To There on Saturday. They got our move from Lexington to Richmond booked for Sunday!! Ren and AJ were our movers. They managed a very heavy piece of furniture down a flight of stairs in a crowded environment, then to deliver had to navigate downhill to our back deck, up a right angle staircase, and finally into the house. I booked my move over a month in advance and they made sure to call ahead to confirm a week before. These movers are the nicest, most flexible guys out there. I called last minute to get some movers to bring my old washer and dryer downstairs to the first floor. Everyone was booked, but the owner (who remembered me from another moving job I had) came alone almost immediately and helped another family member remove them for me. I needed movers to move out the old and move in the new. The three gentlemen who assisted me were great. They were very accommodating and also very careful with this delicate equipment.
