The biggest concern is the lack of stable leadership. The school can't seem to retain principals, and the constant turnover creates inconsistency for students, teachers, and families. It's difficult to build a strong school culture when leadership is always changing. I believe the school is on their 9th principal in 6yrs. This is a major red flag and a huge concern about what the board is doing behind the closed doors For the tuition families pay, the quality of education simply doesn't meet expectations. Many of the school's strongest educators have already left/retired or are nearing retirement, and it raises concerns about the future of the academic program. Another major concern is the Board of Directors' involvement in day-to-day school operations. I've never heard of board members walking around campus writing up students for behavior--that responsibility belongs to school administrators, not the governing board. It blurs the lines between governance and management and creates confusion about who is actually leading the school. It's also concerning that board members appear to be making significant educational decisions despite having little or no professional background in education or business. Families entrust the school with their children's education and expect those decisions to be guided by experienced educational leadership. My son made great memories with his teachers and teammates, and I'm grateful for those experiences. Unfortunately, the school's leadership, governance, and overall educational value make it difficult for me to recommend it to other families. The school is located in a beautiful area and has great potential to thrive and be amazing. But it needs a new leadership and new board and for Lori Kirk to fully step away from this school. I would seriously speak to other families who have left the school prior to investing thousands of dollars into your child's education I've had 2 children attend this school. One left to Del Oro for stronger academics and AP classes and the other one graduated FLC in 2026

My advice for parents of children with IEPs: Trust your kids. Love the pine trees!…read more This is my second time to watch an SYF game in this school. It's the Colfax Jr Falcons vs Liberty Ranch Jr Hawks playing this Saturday. This review is for the Robert O. Marson Field. The school colors are green and white. There are bleacher seating on both sides (home and visitor side) but smaller scale than I've seen compared to other schools. The field is beautiful, has real turf grass and surrounded by pine trees all around. It's so green and pretty. The field is located behind the school. Actually, the whole school is encircled in beautiful, tall pine trees. The officials were provided a tent, which is nice. The weather calls for a highs 88 degrees today and it's good that the referees are able to take some break under a shaded canopy in between games. They have a nice sound system, clearly heard across the field. I thought it was cool that the officials' full names were mentioned during the game prior to playing of the National Anthem. Just went here for the 2008 graduation…read more Matt's daughter was there, and she made valedictorian... congrats on that, sir!! And perfect attendance for four years? Damn... she's good! The graduation was LONG. 200 students names, goals, and fondest memories were read off by two ladies who were very good at reading and speaking, I was impressed by them. The audio set up was pretty sad... (my best friends are audio majors, my roommate a dj) so the sound quality was lacking and I couldn't help but notice. They didn't have fireworks or a big projection screen like my high school... but I really liked the personal attention given to each student. Yeah, it was hard to sit through, but I found it interesting. Teachers ran up and gave their students hugs as they received their diplomas. I'm impressed with the connections they had with each student... and I think my cousin was lucky to go here. After all, fancy graduations are not as important as a quality education in a healthy caring environment. Only one question... whats with everyone wanting to be a CHP officer when they grow up? Uhhh... Don't speed around here in a few years. Congrats to the class of 08'. Specifically my cousin!
