Walking from the waiting area to the seating down that tunnel is pitch black. Both me and the wife were bumping into the walls. Maybe a little more light? Had to turn on cell phone light. Once you get into the restaurant it's better and your eyes start to adjust. The music was great and perfect for the scene, but too loud and needed to be turned down. When you're with family and friends and want to chat and keep saying "what?" the entire time, too loud. We aren't there to listen to music. The drinks were incredible. The Brown Butter Old Fashioned....crazy good. One of best Old Fashioned I've had and that's my go to. Apps. were really good. Expand your menu just a little. Street tacos! If you can do tostadas then you can do street tacos, not that big of an adjustment. The apps are a little pricey, but good. Biggest complaint and it made me torn between 4 or 5 stars was something so small but annoying just the same. The wife and I ended up paying almost $150 bucks between drinks and food. Charging us $3.50 to use a credit card? Thats just crap! Your food and drinks are expensive, don't nickel and dime people. High end places don't do it...

They just stood and stared at us not a hello Smile Nothing so I said do we seat ourselves and the short tubby one with black rim glasses said No she has to seat us , in side or out she said we decided inside the restaurant was quite empty at this point it was 6.30 , so she stood there looked around the restaurant and took us to the back of the restaurant to what I can describe as a thin small bench with two chairs I said no we would not like to sit there maybe we can go outside she had an irritated look on her face and took us outside handed the menus quite aggressive to me and walked off customer service was 0 % !!! However after being treated like that things did get better we had an awesome waiter very friendly, spoke to the young lady clearing our table again he was awesome and very friendly, our food was excellent we did have a nice time after not being treated right from the two greeters , we will come back to Maddies how ever maybe a chat to the two greeters at the front about customer service and how it is done and if they can't greet and be Happy with customers maybe put them in the kitchen or have them just clear tables because neither one of them had a personality, Short Tubby one and tall blonde Absolutely Awful.

I have tried the flatbread the fries, the salads clearly I tried the Parmesan chicken sandwich and it was disgusting. I mean look at the photo. I'm not liked anything on their menu except for the barbecue fries which they don't have anymore. The Parmesan garlic fries are too strong. The flavor is overpowering. The Caesar salad has way too much dressing and the lettuce is not crispy enough. The service is kind of hit or miss but it's a very busy place but sometimes you have to wait 20+ minutes for your check. It's a great time when they host dancing or Trivia, but I would not come here on a regular night nor would I ever order their food. Their drinks are good but kind of depends on the bartender because sometimes they're not made correctly according to the ingredients listed on the drink menu. However, the line dancing is phenomenal, and I do really love their outdoor seating, especially the fire pits in the winter

We sat at the bar as the crowd was full of Broncos and every seat was taken. I ordered an NA beer, and my wife had the Best Island Pilsner. The vibe was football and sports. Not too loud, but just loud enough to hear Lane Kiffin getting cheered on as he loses at Ole Miss. I ordered the chicken strips with tater tots. The taters were crispy, and the tangy special sauce was horseradish, ketchup, and mayo. Perfect blend. The ranch was naughty- meaning good, as it probably is the bad kind, but good for the soul. The chicken strips were juicy and crispy. I cleaned my plate. My wife had the fish basket and fries. Very tasty, and I helped her out. The whole bar was attentive to our needs- three servers and two bartenders. We were spoiled. Thank you.

Bartender was great, interacted more with the patrons at the bar and at 3:30pm on a Tuesday it seemed other servers were just coming on so orders and check ins were on the slow side. Had to re-heat it because of an accident on the freeway, but heated up well. Glad I got the HH price ($16) because that was exactly the right price point for what we received. I'd definitely be back for happy hour or dinner. For dinner definitely make reservations. It's not huge inside. Very nice patio for quiet weather days.

The Basque Center was built in 1949 and is a gathering place for Basque people in the area as well as non-Basques. It is available for rent and it has a huge kitchen in the basement for catering events. This past Saturday in support of the Basque Block Christmas Market, the Center featured the Basque music group, Txantxangorriak, and performances by Boiseko Gazteak, which teaches traditional Basque dance children from 4 to 13 years of age. It was a lively afternoon of traditional music and dance while the largely Basque crowd cheered and appreciated the show of talents. The Center is open to the public and non-Basques should not be intimidated to enter the bar for a good strong drink at a really low price. Be mindful that the Center is closed Monday, serves drinks after 3 pm Tues-Thur and has extensive hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Center is celebrating the 93rd Sheepherders Ball on Saturday, December 17th with a dinner that is currently sold out. After the dinner, the Oinkari Dancers (ages 14 and above) will perform at 8:00 PM, followed by a lamb auction which raises funds for the Basque Charities account. The dance, featuring the popular band "Amuma Says No", will begin after the lamb auction. The cost of admission to the dance is $5 for adults and children under 12 are admitted for free.

It's a small menu of small to medium sized plates to share with the table, which I love. It's always nice to get a little bit of everything. We ordered three items for the two of us, and we got a little more full than we needed to be. We got the Lobster Corndogs, Ceviche, and the Snake River Farm Prime Tomahawk with Chimichurri. The portions were larger than I would have expected, so it was more than enough for two people. Ceviche is a favorite of mine, and this was no exception. Great texture and had good-sized, crunchy tortillas to put it on. I don't really eat fried foods, but my husband ordered the Lobster Corn Dogs, which he enjoyed, but wasn't really my jam. Personal preference. The start of the show was the Tomahawk. It was butter-tender, full of flavor, and Chimichurri was to die for. It is the number one thing I would re-order, again and again. Highly recommended. If you count in the elevated and incredibly tasty food, the atmosphere, and the wonderful staff, there's every reason to give it a try. You won't regret it. Oh, and their drinks are great too!
