Our pool was left on drain and we lost over a ft of water and we were blamed for our equipment being wrong. His guys moved items of our personal property and didn't put them back upon completion and they got destroyed... We were blamed. Pool wasn't being fully cleaned, entire sections untouched, and when I tried asking for more thoroughness, we were blamed for failing to maintain equipment and called names and had our service cancelled. We cleaned the filters when recommended, we replaced parts as recommended, but try to get clarity on why you'd need to spend hundreds or thousand on parts that just passed their inspection recently and suddenly you're a problem. Aaron was so disproportionately aggressive and is not open to conversation. He wants absolute obedience to anything he wants you to buy, no questions asked, or he attacks your character. There are reviews elsewhere where he doxxed a client for having complaints, viciously verbally attacks customers who complained, and always says he has 30,000 clients with no complaints to everyone who complains... With less than 300 reviews total and places where ratings are as low as 3.9 stars. Not worth the trouble if you're just going to have to find someone else in 3 months when you inevitably face his childish and crazy behavior at the first issue.

Called Pool Knights back to begin weekly service. I had the pool completley clear and ready to be serviced when they arrived. After 4 weeks of service and numerous calls about not enough chemicals I fired them. They added salt to a chlorine pool!!! WHAT! Only once out of 4 weeks did they added enough chemicals to control the algae. Last Sunday my 73 year old husband added 5 pounds of shock, (at our expense) brushed and vac pool..and this took care of what THEY WERE TO DO. I have CLOSE up pictures and video to prove EVERYTHING. After I cancelled service I called them again about a bill I got for 6 weeks of service and only performed services 4. I asked for a refund. No one will speak to us. You have my email, my cell and my husband's cell. So many ways to communicate, why do you not? Why do you bill for services not rendered? Why will you not call me back and offer a refund? Why did you send the pool cleaner out to my house after we fired you? Run from this company, they are not what they advertise!!! Buyer Beware..they bill in advance!!!

I called Mark as soon as the power was back on - needless to say he was busy they were out within a couple of days. He personally checked the equipment provided various options for me to select from. Once decided the equipment was secured and beautifully installed. He oversaw the installation and we chatted where he shared his focus on family and his commitment to not do business on the weekend and devote that time to family - I was impressed!! Two years later the pump motor starts eating capacitors then fails completely (on a Saturday of course) so I call Mark knowing he won't answer on the weekend but will return the call promptly on Monday which is exactly what happened. He had a technician out the next morning to look at the pump and confirm it was a warranty issue, he then worked with the manufacturer to get a new motor out and installed at zero cost to me. He communicated with me daily on the status of the parts, worked with the vendor to get a motor expedited and get me back online. All in all and excellent experience! To the reviewer who complained that they do not respond to pool "emergencies" on the weekend I have to shake my head - it's certainly a first world problem to consider not having a pump system running on your personal pool over the weekend an "emergency". I applaud Mark and his team for not only their work but their appreciation of and support for their families - no one will die if your pool system is down for the weekend (the water will still be there)

They are definitely not the cheapest but we felt like we were paying for quality service. (Although Mark refuses to respond to emergencies on the weekend since that is "his time".) Other than that, everything was going well. Until recently, Unified was out cleaning the pool and the technician for some reason couldn't get the spa blower to turn off. Well the circuit board had short circuited. Thankfully we had someone here remodeling our bathroom and he was able to help the technician get it off. Mark arrived and reasoned that our variable speed motor that he advised us to purchase and was installed by him was not getting the power it needed. He stated and I quote "when he installed the motor for us they didn't know that the amps in the breaker box needed to be 20 and we only had the motor on a 15amp. (Well hell it's your job to know that before you install NOT mine.) Our circuit board had shorted out and needed to be replaced for $1500+. In addition we needed to run a new line from the breaker box to the pool because we had to up the amps and that was another $3000+(not an electrician so lingo might be a bit off). We advised Mark that he didn't let us know about the electrical side that was needed and asked him if he would offset some of the cost since now we have to pay for both a circuit board and to run the line! This man said he will have to back out and discontinue our services! He canceled our services and left us with a pool that we couldn't turn on. I simply couldn't believe it. BE WARY OF BUSINESSES WHO CANT STAND BY THEIR WORK.

The issue here is he has grown and a few things have fell short but we have been overlooking them until recently. He has hired "helpers" to clean the pools in most areas, I haven't seen him come out in months in return we have been receiving subpar cleanings, I have had to recently call them back out because his helper didn't get the air out of my system when he left and it continued to gurgle for over 24 hours! I will attach an email where his company sent out, our AGREED price was always $185.00 period! I noticed these last 2 months I'm paying over $200 now, he says well we sent an email out but NOWHERE in this email states he is starting to raise the price due to this new payment method, he knew what he was doing and snuck in this on the customers without their knowledge, I would have cancelled when they first changed if this would have been in the email. He was very DECEIVING by doing this. After a year of service he sends this message out, Good Afternoon Just heads up. We are making changes to the monthly pool service. Going forward the monthly pool service will based of a 4 week pool maintenance visit. For example this month had 5 visits and we are not charging for that 5th visits. 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22, 2/29 Oh so now you are charging per 4 weeks now moving forward, not monthly. SHADY! I called Javier and explained my issue with him, and his clerk says he's adamant about the extra charge. No problem, I don't have to hire you my pool is very easy to maintain and I have options. If you weren't SHADY and trying to sneak more money out of me in the first place I wouldn't have cancelled. I would AVOID this company, for over $200/month you can get someone that isn't a helper cleaning your pool!
