Elote nachos with a so-so bourbon drink. At least they had a big cube for it.

The elote nachos with brisket on top were yummy, and the music was good. Other than that, I think it's more of a place for locals. The service wasn't great, although the food was served quickly.

View from the bar. Pretty sweet.

Bluebird Bistro exceeded our expectations! I'm so glad I didn't have breakfast and wanted lunch in between runs in the mountain. My guy wasn't hungry but when we spied a burger headed to another table, he was open to sharing said burger with me. This burger, y'all. So good. This burger was cooked to order and seasoned well - it was also thick and juicy. And the fries. Fresh oil, medium crisp and thick. Yummy. The wait staff were friendly, approachable and even though they were slammed, still made time to chat off and on with us. Def check out the Bluebird Bistro. Even if you don't snowboard or ski, go. It's that good.

Bluebird Bistro is formerly the Granby Ranch Grill located at the base of Granby Ranch Ski Area. There is indoor dining, but it's limited due to Covid precautions....level yellow currently. This means that at peak times you may wait 40 minutes to be seated. You can order at the window and find a table outside or go to the other non- table service restaurant upstairs. At least you have options. Pricing is relatively high because it's a ski area....but, think about sharing if you are going back out to ski! I like the choices on everything except the salads: For a restaurant this creative with their other food, the salad choices are kind of blah! However, we have had several things when we have been here. The first time we each had our own barbecue sandwich with a massive amount of fries that we could not finish. It was very good, but would split that next time at $22 per entree. The next time, we ordered pizza, the pizza called the "yard sale". They have a great pizza oven and these are big sellers! They allowed us to swap out red onion for mushrooms and we were really happy with our choice. The next time we split nachos at $14, perfect amount for both of us, and we went back out to ski! The nachos had a green chili queso combined with BBQ brisket, sliced thin. It was a generous amount! The queso had a medium kick, and was perfect. Although it looks heavy, it was a much lighter dish than the sandwich with fries and the pizza. This may be my go-to! Bluebird bistro has craft cocktails as well: we enjoyed the Log Cabin. It was an old fashioned with a strong cinnamon flavor, suspect it had a syrup since it was a little sweeter than a regular old fashioned. They call it an old fashioned with winter spice! Check out the log cabin if you are in the mood for a bourbon drink!

We had the whiskey bbq pulled pork, roasted peaches & mozzarella pizza last night & it was DELICIOUS! Cooked to perfection. A couple of beers & then crème brûlée & a piece of cheese cake. This restaurant never disappoints. You can sit out on the beautiful outdoor patio or inside.

We were able to actually eat here twice and both times had a great experience. Sarah behind the bar was super friendly and mixes a great old fashioned. The food was really good and came out fast and hit. The salads were fresh and large and the nachos had a ton of toppings and good taste.

Hot coco is always a hit in the slopes!

We enjoyed afternoon cocktails and apps one day and a delicious carryout dinner the next! The cocktails are unique and elevated. Pretzel bites were a hit with the kids and truffle fries were a hit with the adults. Carryout was hot, fresh, and fast! Thank you!

Food was good but the service was not. The waitress's all seemed to have an attitude and made the whole experience very negative.

Solid service but the place is just a little small and I can see how they get overwhelmed with customers at times. It will depend on the day but make sure to make reservations because yes, the food is that good you might be waiting. Five star food all day long the best food in Winter Park.

The folks at the Wild Horse Inn used to run Solstice as a kinda pop-up restaurant in Fraser next to the Safeway in the winter when they weren't catering weddings and events during the summers. But then the Fanches who own Devil's Thumb bought the Inn owners out for over $3 mill a while back when they were on their way to buying up the whole county. So what happened to Solstice? Well, for a fraction of that price some sweet hard-workin' folks bought the Wild Horse catering business and . . . wait for it . . . yes . . . Solstice. Now (sweet) Sue and her partner have just started running Solstice as a full-time restaurant and boy does it rock. The place only seats around 25 people, but it'll be worth the wait (once everyone comes to understand that the place is now regularly open all the time this place is going to be jammed!). This new policy just started a couple/three weeks ago so when we came in last night the room was lightly used and we had a chance to visit with Sue, who's about one of the kindest best bartenders/servers/owners ever. We decided to make dinner out of five of their tapas offerings, starting with a super fresh and delicious salad, and followed by their smoked salmon crostini, dates with (spicy!) capicola skewers, ridiculously delicious scallops, and a really savory "burnt ends" dish of pork belly bites and crispy(!) mini-ravioli. Can't believe we had room for dessert, but the flourless chocolate tart with homemade whipped cream and raspberry preserve sauce was something we couldn't resist. (Next time I'm coming for you Mr. Key Lime pie:). All in all, a truly fine dining experience at a reasonable price point. So the bottom line is that this is great news for Grand County: the addition of a wonderful new restaurant serving really excellent food right in the heart of Fraser! 2

What didn't.....condensed menu, meal service was staggered, and the Tavern was only able to provide us with one group check. All of this changed when we walked in because at reservation, we were promised the full menu and separate checks. Huntington House missed out as many of us had our hearts set on the Elk Chops or Filet Mignon. Instead we were limited to the Gnocci, Burger and Salmon. The food was decent. I ended up with the Classic Salad with Chicken add on. The salad was fresh but the chicken was dry and nonexistent. Definitely not worth $30. We did order a dinner roll skillet (twice) but those were brought to the table as a shareable with the group instead of part of our couples dinner. Any other time, Huntington House might be a nice option but definitely not for groups.

So, no parking pass meant we stopped at A Frame instead. And, seriously, best decision ever. As soon as you walk in, you know this place is different.
