(2) Next: Short Rib Taco (Sweet, Savory, and Spicy, Au Jus/Ropa Vieja-esque, Flour Tortilla). The quality, on point. Like, not just good for a beach-side spot, flat out good. The Service and View. The quesadilla was absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and the shredded chicken was really good. The chips were fresh and crispy as well. The pricing felt reasonable, especially considering the restaurant is located within a resort. I also appreciated that I could use my gift card here. Inside, the restaurant and restrooms were both clean. I also loved the fun Margaritaville-themed décor throughout. Some of the tables are even shaped like boats! We arrived around 4:40 p.m. and were immediately told by the host that the kitchen would be closing at 5:00 p.m., leaving us only about 15 minutes to place our order. This information was not disclosed on the hotel's website, and had we known in advance, we would have planned our visit differently. What made the experience even more disappointing was the seating decision. Although the restaurant had many, MANY empty tables with clear views of the World Cup match, we were seated in an unpleasant corner where the game could not be seen. There was no apparent reason to place us in such an undesirable location when there were plenty of available seats that would have allowed us to enjoy the event we came for. Rather than feel rushed and unwelcome, we decided to leave and did not stay to dine. After traveling from Los Angeles and choosing this restaurant as part of our Florida visit, this experience was very disappointing. Good customer service requires common sense, hospitality, and making guests feel valued. I hope the management takes a closer look at the level of service being provided and considers hiring and training qualified staff who understand the importance of treating customers with respect and creating a welcoming experience.

Their website advertised a free tequila shot with any purchase for the May 5th specials; I'd like to know how a Mexican restaurant runs out of tequila. I don't know what they did, but they did end up bringing us our shots. I want to come back with my daughter because the food is truly tasty, and I hope the service will be different next time!
