Buyer beware! Had a windshield installed 6 weeks ago, they…read morewere all happy about setting the appointment and doing the install. Everything changed after that. To complete the installation, there are OEM vertical trim strips passenger/driver sides that blend in with the vehicles finish. One week after the installation, the drivers side trim piece blew off while driving. After calling Scotts Auto Glass back, the owner stated that in 500 installations this had never happened and said that someone must have taken it or tried to take it. Mind you, it's a Ford Explorer with a gazillion of these or so on the road, and one that I have owned for 6 years with no problem. He said he would call me back ...no call back. Two weeks ago, driving again in normal conditions on the freeway, the passenger side blew off! I call again, the owner literally laughed at me, basically calling me a liar. He won't take care of replacing these parts correctly and free of charge, which the price of two of these far exceeds a windshield replacement deductible. There are so many places you can go to have this basic job done correctly! I urge you not to deal with this guy with an obvious lack of character and integrity. If you need someone to be a "one and done" hire for service, hire him...as that is what he is expecting...no repeat business! I can only hope that he goes out of business and picks up trash on the freeway for extra money, maybe then he will find my trim strips. - Disgusted

Robert texted me at 7:04 stating he could not get the job done because his plotter was offline no problem issues occur but I can only guess that he was just trying to buy more time to mess up my vehicle even more we agreed that the following day I would pick it up at 12:00pm he texted me at 11:00am asking if we could move the pick up time because he didn't like the rear window and was still tinting the front window I arrived at his shop at 1:30pm Robert told me I could come inside and wait if my ride had to leave upon entering the "shop" I was met with absolute disarray 3 cars including mine stuffed into a 2 car garage with my passenger side door resting on a table and drug paraphernalia even a pound of cannabis observed on the table I understand cannabis is legal but would you trust anyone intoxicated working on your vehicle? It's not professional after waiting roughly an hour and Robert trying to tint the windshield 2x he kept creasing just told me to come back on the weekend to have his friend do it I picked out some issues with the film in his shop where he addressed it and said it would lay down over time he also stated and admitted he is new to tinting and wasn't experienced this is a $100,000 vehicle not a car you experiment on I could not totally go over the car in his "shop" since it was so cramped and dark drove the vehicle home where I was astonished at the novice level of work dust in the film, unclean cuts, fingers where the tint did not adhere to the defroster lines the roof wrap was also not properly wrapped or tucked where you can see exposed paint upon realizing this i started going around the car to make sure nothing else was messed up I observed mud caked into the floor in my brand new car with copious amounts of white dog hair took me roughly 4 hours to get the carpets clean and dog hair removed , a scratch in the interior rear trim piece, roof bike mount clip broken, several towel marks/swirls or drag marks from dry wiping the car or dragging tint across the paint, and a dent on the passenger side door. I texted Robert stating I would be taking it somewhere else and would like my deposit back after not hearing from him the following morning I tried to call him where I was just sent to voice mail so I texted him again saying I would be seeking legal action not only for the $212.00 deposit but also all the damage he caused if he did not refund the $212.00 for the deposit he finally texted me back Friday with a b.s. excuse about dealing with "family issues" the response he sent was from chat gpt this kid doesn't even have enough brains to come up his own responses Robert takes no responsibility for his actions or his work and just makes excuses for his garbage work save yourself the headache and go absolutely anywhere else. Mr dexter takes no accountability for his actions and has no respect for anyone or their property

When I first reached out online, I was unsure what type of tint I wanted and whether I wanted to go as dark as 5%. Instead of pressuring me into anything, Sean told me to come in so he could personally show me the differences between ceramic tint and the other options. The technicians were just as helpful. They showed me tint on their own personal vehicles, shared their honest opinions, and helped me understand exactly what I was getting. I originally knew I wanted 5% on the back of my Toyota Camry, which I use for Uber, but I was hesitant about doing the front windows that dark. After seeing everything in person, I decided to go with it--and I have loved it ever since. The tint looks amazing, the quality is excellent, and the car photographs beautifully. Sean also went above and beyond to squeeze me in on a Thursday morning so my brand-new Camry would be ready for Opening Day. Now, before leaving for another trip, I needed my front windshield done while working around several appointments. Once again, Sean found a way to squeeze me in. That level of service is why I came back and why I will continue coming back. From Sean to every technician in the shop, the whole experience was knowledgeable, professional, welcoming, and well-crafted from beginning to end. They do not just install tint--they make sure you understand your options and feel confident in your decision. Any car I own from this point forward is going to 586 Tint Factory. They have earned a customer for life.

From the very first conversation, he walked me through the entire process -- what to expect, timelines, options -- no pressure, just straight, knowledgeable guidance. He was personable, patient, and genuinely cared about doing it right. Even more impressive? He was able to squeeze me in the same day. If you know anything about high-end tint/PPF shops, that's rare -- especially for a place this busy. They kept the car for two days to complete ceramic coating and front clip PPF, and when I picked it up... I was honestly blown away. The gloss was unreal. It looked way better than the day I drove it off the dealership lot. The depth, the shine -- next level. I'll be honest -- I've never paid for a service like this before. I questioned whether it was "worth it." It absolutely is. Every penny. Beyond the results, the customer experience was top-tier. Communication was fantastic the entire time. The shop is spotless, organized, and family-friendly. The team clearly knows what they're doing and takes pride in their craft. You can tell this isn't just a job for them -- it's reputation and passion. Shawn and the team -- I truly cannot thank you enough. If you're on the fence about PPF or ceramic, stop researching and just call them.
