I took my car up for an oil change and a quick inspection of my car. Hours later, I receive a call that it was going to cost me 3,500 dollars to fix my car. With all the problems they told me that was wrong with my car was impossible. My car drove too smooth for the issues they said I had. They take my car down from the rack and when I went to leave my car had a rock when I turned my steering wheel side to side. I asked them to put my car back on the rack to check it out and i stayed there with my baby while my husband went to pick up our older child from school. They waited for my husband to leave so they could approach me about paying for the job after my husband said no. I paid for an oil change and took my car somewhere else for a second opinion. Come to find out, the oil change was never done and the only thing they got right were the bad ball joints. They wanted to charge me for an entire front end repair when there was nothing wrong with my car. My husband goes back in to confront them for not doing the oil change and they wanted to deny the evidence we had. Then they tried to tell us we were charged for a deep inspection of the car. We didnt ask for a deep inspection. We asked for and oil change and the free quick inspection. I contacted their customer service department and trying to voice my complaint, talking to them reassured me that they really couldn't care less about the customers that keep that place in business and really dont care how there employees are. I will never bring my car back to this place. This place is the poster child of "never trust a mechanic"

Buyer beware! Had a windshield installed 6 weeks ago, they…read morewere all happy about setting the appointment and doing the install. Everything changed after that. To complete the installation, there are OEM vertical trim strips passenger/driver sides that blend in with the vehicles finish. One week after the installation, the drivers side trim piece blew off while driving. After calling Scotts Auto Glass back, the owner stated that in 500 installations this had never happened and said that someone must have taken it or tried to take it. Mind you, it's a Ford Explorer with a gazillion of these or so on the road, and one that I have owned for 6 years with no problem. He said he would call me back ...no call back. Two weeks ago, driving again in normal conditions on the freeway, the passenger side blew off! I call again, the owner literally laughed at me, basically calling me a liar. He won't take care of replacing these parts correctly and free of charge, which the price of two of these far exceeds a windshield replacement deductible. There are so many places you can go to have this basic job done correctly! I urge you not to deal with this guy with an obvious lack of character and integrity. If you need someone to be a "one and done" hire for service, hire him...as that is what he is expecting...no repeat business! I can only hope that he goes out of business and picks up trash on the freeway for extra money, maybe then he will find my trim strips. - Disgusted

(wish I was just 20yrs younger). Went to the office, made the same request. He also managed to cuss me out and point to a female scheduler. I talked to her, she was not friendly, but polite. I had a deer hit me in the beginning of January and it damaged my hood and the full grill and most of the things behind it and a head light, it did alot of damage and then some days later I called around to all the dealerships in Port Huron and other collision shops and they all said they were booked up until March and April, for my Insurance company named Gerber Collision & Glass right off the rip and I said ok let me give them a call. A young man name Nick answered and told me they have about a two to four week wait time and I said ok so he told me to bring it in on Feb 7th and I did and got a rental, for they kept me up to date on the progress of my car and before I knew it I was getting a call under the third week mark saying my car was totally fixed and repaired and to come on in and pick it up for I said really and Nick said yes. I was so happy and when I got there Nick met with me and went over everything that needed to be repaired and got replaced and all, and even cleaned the inside and outside of my car very good. I thought to myself goodness this car is looking better then it did before the deer hit me, so I signed the docs and was on my way. I was so relieved to find it was driving great and did not need nothing else done on it and I left there a very happy Desert Storm Veteran!!! They are so very professional and polite and have only have the experts to fix and repair cars that is brought to them. The whole staff was so dedicated and motivated 100%. This is a very professionally ran collision shop that I have ever seen in my life time any where, for Nick and the staff went beyond the call of duty and went that extra mile to make me a vert extremely happy customer. I cannot ever remember being treated very good and getting service done to the fullest extent any where like Gerber and collision had done for me. The General Manager Brian Stone has made this collision shop like a bar of gold and like I said very professionally ran and always service with a smile!!! I have been telling others about this collision shop and they too said they are impressed and will take their cars there when and if they have to for this is like the Candy Store of all and any collision shop here in Marysville, Port Huron or anywhere, for they were highly recommended by my State Farm agent who connected me with them from the get go.
