In my case I had a power window on driver side that was not functioning and of course found in research this was a problem with G35 vehicles, My next issue was how to get it fixed properly. While there is no local Infiniti dealer and like most Vehicle manufactures if you get the part, it is going to be exhorbitant in cost and expensive to have them repair. To complete the installation, there are OEM vertical trim strips passenger/driver sides that blend in with the vehicles finish. One week after the installation, the drivers side trim piece blew off while driving. After calling Scotts Auto Glass back, the owner stated that in 500 installations this had never happened and said that someone must have taken it or tried to take it. Mind you, it's a Ford Explorer with a gazillion of these or so on the road, and one that I have owned for 6 years with no problem. He said he would call me back ...no call back. Two weeks ago, driving again in normal conditions on the freeway, the passenger side blew off! I call again, the owner literally laughed at me, basically calling me a liar. He won't take care of replacing these parts correctly and free of charge, which the price of two of these far exceeds a windshield replacement deductible. There are so many places you can go to have this basic job done correctly! I urge you not to deal with this guy with an obvious lack of character and integrity. If you need someone to be a "one and done" hire for service, hire him...as that is what he is expecting...no repeat business! I can only hope that he goes out of business and picks up trash on the freeway for extra money, maybe then he will find my trim strips. - Disgusted

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE…read more Firstly, I want to say that the people at their front desk are amazing. Some of the best admin people I have had the chance to deal with! That being said, do NOT take your vehicle here. My truck was hit in a parking lot in September, and after a long wait, they finally got it in to fix it in mid-November. This seemed surprising as they got it in nearly a month early from when they originally booked it to come in for repairs. They also told me it would take 17 business days time (plus weekends) to get done as there was extensive damage, but it took less than a week in actuality. Honestly, I was surprised at such a change in speed, but now I'm not so surprised, as it likely gives some sort of explanation as to the quality of work that was done and the state in which my vehicle was returned back to me. After getting my truck back from them, I drove it 10 seconds down the road, and every screen shut off in the vehicle. It all went dark, from the entertainment system to the gauge cluster. Now, there were no issues with any of the screens when I initially brought it in. It's only a 3-year-old truck, and the screens and gauge cluster had never had any problems. They all had worked perfectly fine before. However, despite this happening on their watch, they are now trying to deny responsibility, stating that "because we don't deal with electrical components, this couldn't have been our fault." So they sent it to a dealership for diagnosis, now quoting me thousands of dollars to get it fixed out of pocket. Firstly, there are many things they could have done, without messing with the electronic components themselves, that could have inadvertently caused this issue. It doesn't take an expert to know this. When you are doing extensive repairs to a vehicle, lifting it up and down on hoists and things alike, of course, things like this can happen. After speaking with some local mechanics myself, what likely has happened is that in an attempt to get vehicles out the door faster (proven by comments made by their front desk staff and the drastic difference in work times), they have cut corners and lowered quality of work to speed things up. Mechanics have told me that things like this often happen when mechanics are welding parts to the frame / chassis, and either they don't disconnect the battery / other electrical components, OR they don't correctly ground during the welding process, causing strong electrical currents to overwhelm and fry electronic components. Bottom line is that they are absolutely responsible for this, though, as the vehicle went to them in full working order and is now coming out functioning WORSE than it was after being in their care. A vehicle simple DOES NOT go into a shop fully working, and come back with those previously working components NO LONGER WORKING, despite not being driven or used in that time. It was absolutely something they did, and they are now denying responsibility. If you care about good work and trusting your vehicle with the people who are supposed to fix it, DO NOT BRING IT HERE!

My front bumper was snagged on a piece of rebar sticking out of a parking block which damaged the…read morebracket and some clips on the bumper. I took the car to Mike Fairbairn at St. Clair Auto Body. He was able to repair the damaged bracket and re-clip the bumper to the car. He fixed it in under an hour which was very impressive. Paid for my oil change and took my car somewhere else for a second opinion. Come to find out my oil change was never done and only thing they got right about my car was the ball joints. My husband went up later to confront them about not doing the oil change we paid for....... come to find out we paid for a deep inspection of my car i didnt ask for. Called customer service to make a formal complaint, they couldn't care any less that they already do about their customers. O /10 would not recommend thos place.

I received a few quotes with varying prices and couldn't decide, therefore I also did a Google search of reviews of the various places to help me make my decision of where to take my vehicle. GP, which is 45 mins away from my home, and an hour in traffic from my work, quoted me a flat rate with parts and labor included, which was $20 more than a shop in my neighborhood. The removal and install was fast, and the gentleman was very professional. My bill was actually $20 more than the flat rate quoted. Therefore, I ended up paying $40 more than I would have paid had I gone to a local shop, 1hour 45 mins driving, and a 1/4 tank of gas. Pricey lesson learned. However, I'm grateful that my windshield is fixed before winter. I recommend this location for folks who live in the area. It's clean with a comfortable waiting room. Also, if you're low in cash, make sure you know that "flat rate" doesn't mean the same to everyone. Use the Project tool to receive quotes, etc, but do extra homework and know exactly how much a service will cost you in exact pricing, considering your travel (gas) expenses, and time when comparing.
