After driving 2 blocks, my…read morefriend received a phone call saying that Bill's had forgotten to put oil back in after draining it! The shop sent a truck out, filled it with oil and sent my friend on his way. A few days later, the van stalled on the highway. Bill's Auto says they did put oil in it (just half the amount they should have though- How does that even happen?!), and did send someone out to top it off, after I had initially been told that they had never called my friend and never sent a truck to the van to finish the job. I was met with a raised voice when all I was doing was try to get the story straight. The other shop where the van was towed to said the engine would need to be rebuilt or replaced and that it appeared that driving it without oil is what caused the failure. Driving just 10 feet without oil is really rough on a vehicle. The mechanics where I take the van normally have offered to produce documentation showing that the engine was in great shape before going to Bill's Auto, should I need them for a civil court case which I am looking into. In the past two weeks since the incident, Bill's Auto has shown no intention of reimbursing me for my non-running van or doing anything to help me out or remedy the situation in any way. I highly recommend you go elsewhere for your auto needs, unless your car has a death wish.

I purchased them both the person who helped me Dave was very polite and helpful. He mounted and balanced the first tire so I could return and put it on her car. I returned within a hour with her car to have him mount and balance the other tire so wouldn't have 3 of one brand and 1 of another. This way front would be one brand and rear another brand. Best of all is the friendliness of the workers. Dave also quoted me a complete Break job which was way cheeper than a quote I had received from another place. The first step before anyone does an alignment is to do a quick check on all the connection joints that affect a wheel alignment. They said that I need to have the ball joint replaced. Ok, I wanted to do that work myself. What was disappointing is they said the $55 for the time looking at the car, wouldn't be deducted from the $125 charge for the frontend alignment when I return. In the front end alignment write up, they indicated it included the inspection of front end components. Very sketchy!
