See, all I'd seen was this large pink window that made me think this was going to be a bit too sterile but cutsey to have that real dessert bar charm. Enter last Sunday night, and the pink window is now joined by a few rustic chairs and tables, and the door now opens to a beautifully lit wooden room with antique style chairs and gorgeous wood work. Hello Chocolate Taperia - I think I'm in love. The menu is hispanic, with delicious desserts from Spain and Latin America. It was created by chef Jean-Claude de Toulouse, and he popped over to our table to explain a bit about the menu. It was a nice touch. The Sweet Tapas platters are great for sharing, but try and tackle one yourself and you'll end up wrapping biscuits up in a napkin to take home for later. They sure can be filling. There are 'warm temptations' perfect for winter, and some seasonal desserts. Chocolate Taperia do a good job at pulling off the whole package. Nothing is half arsed (excuse my french), they've put 100% into the menu, the setting, and the service.
