    Rice crispy treat birthday cake.
    Heather C.

We love this spot for quick sweet treats and have tried so many's different items and every time they have been delicious! The cherry on the top however was the cake they made for my husbands 40th birthday! I asked for a rice crispy treat cake.. which was certainly not something they typically do. They took so much time with me trying to be sure they knew exactly what I was looking for. The end result looked and tasted amazing! Thank you for going above and beyond on this one!

Fantastic bakery right in Summerfield- all bakery items- even the gelato! - are made in-house! Excellent coffee to go along with your selected goodies. Also make individual quiches that they will warm up for you - perfect light breakfast or lunch. Have ordered two cakes already and they were delicious and reminded us of more European style baking as the icing and pastry cream are not too sweet- excellent! We've ordered the strawberries and cream cake as well as a raspberry and cream - now our go to bakery!

Awful chocolate chip cookie. Tastes how it looks

Visually the items were the same, perhaps a little paler in color for some things like the scones. You do make a deposit if you are doing a tea service. I decided to go here for a Mother's Day tea lunch. We had the full tea service and my son had a child's tea. The interior is cute and I love how all of the China is mismatched. They have a large selection of teas and I chose a rose flavor. It was excellent with just the right amount of floral notes. My son had the birthday cake which had a nice vanilla aroma. Everyone gets their own pot, which is neat. They change their menu every month, but I think my favorites for the May tea, were the tomato sandwich and vanilla scone. The table was set with individual jars of clotted cream. We ordered cucumber sandwiches which were beautiful and tasty. Our server was very sweet. We plan to come back, especially for mom related celebrations.

My partner visited Black Magnolia last week after her massage at Green Leaf Wellness center and raved about her cinnamon roll, so I decided to treat myself to one as well and it did not disappoint. I found the Patisserie straight away as I passed it on the way to my massage, but the signage on the curb helps since some businesses in Revolution Mills can be quite difficult to find. The storefront itself is quite small, consisting of a standing room and the glass case of baked goods, but there is seating outside and around the establishment. The staff was attentive, briefing me on all the cinnamon rolls they currently had and letting me know that there were some baking that would be available a bit later. Each roll looked decadent with flavors ranging from lemon blueberry, s'mores, and classic. There were also scones and other baked goods available as well, but I had my heart set on the Classic Cinnamon Roll. I bit into this beauty on my way home and it was the softest and most delicious cinnamon roll I have ever had! Baked with brioche dough and topped with cinnamon cream cheese frosting, the pillowy texture and flavors were so comforting and satisfying. I don't eat sweets often, so this was the perfect treat to end my day with. I am definitely looking forward to trying the lemon blueberry next!

I will suggest that if you are looking for more of the savory items you do have to get there early because it will sell out. The cinnamon bun and scone were absolutely delicious. I got there right on time because they just took the scones out. So it was freshly iced and so yummy. What's not pictured is the chocolate chip cookie. Just do yourself a favor and try it. It was the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. Just to note, this place is in the cut and you have to go down a few stairs but look for their sign posted outside and parking is right across. I'll definitely come back to try more items.

There were several people in front of us when we arrived, but they kept the line moving, and got people served quickly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, though the outdoor patio is in the middle of the parking lot. They offer a huge selection of cakes, cupcakes, pies and more to pick from, pricing is fair, and slices are generous. Picking just 1 slice of cake each was the hardest part of the visit. I went with red velvet, and my wife went with a slice of butter pecan. Both were fantastic, very moist, and flavorful, both layered with delicious frosting. We got our slices to go, and enjoyed them over 2 nights! This is a Greensboro gem, and a must visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Nowhere nearby have I found authentic Italian baked goods except for a former co-worker, whose Sicilian mother once made us delicious wine biscuits and pignoli cookies. That's what I was hoping to find today - along with biscotti, cannoli, etc. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I got the pistachio lobster tail and a mixed box of cookies. The lobster tail was basically a crispy croissant filled with pastry cream that had no discernible pistachio flavor. Tasty but definitely more of a French pastry. The cookies were all supposedly different flavors but I couldn't tell them apart. They were a basic shortbread dyed different colors, had gummy, flavorless fillings and tasted old. There was 1 biscotti in the box and I'm sorry to say that my not at all Italian mom has made better biscotti. Definitely very pricey considering the quality. It makes me sad that there is still nowhere to get good Italian pastries here.

There is not one single thing in this store that I have tried that wasn't delicious. Do not be afraid to ask questions if you are a gringo and only speak English; most of the store personnel have a decent command of English, but it's actually more fun if you converse with them in Spanish and try to learn to pronounce the different baked goods by NAME! To be sure, there are familiar items such as chocolate chip cookies, elephant ears, cakes, and the like-but I would encourage anybody who's not tried delicious Hispanic bakery flavor to try something new. This is as close to the look, taste and overall feel of a genuine Panadería in any of the Latin countries I've ever been to. The sensation that I get when I walk through the door knowing that I'm going to get some delectable pastries and baked goods is addictive.
