I recently had the pleasure of working with Colleen from Blue Star Inspections for my home inspection, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Colleen was incredibly informative, kind, and polite. She took the time to walk me through the entire inspection process, answering all of my questions and ensuring I understood each step. Colleen's attention to detail was impressive. She was thorough in her examination of the property, and the turnaround time for the final report was remarkably fast. The report itself was excellent. It was clear, descriptive, and packed with useful information. The images included were high-quality and easy to understand, which made reviewing the findings with my realtor a breeze. Overall, Colleen provided a top-notch inspection and a report that gave me confidence moving forward with my home purchase. I highly recommend Blue Star Inspections, and specifically Colleen, to anyone in need of a reliable and professional home inspector. Thank you, Colleen!! read more

Jose came to us highly recommended through friends who just purchased their first home. Although this is our second home he gave us another level of customer satisfaction I have yet to see from someone who was just crawling through our addict. He not only explained all his findings to us but provided us with a easy to read and understand printout with detailed pictures. He also gave us a booklet "Now that you had a home inspection" which gives us some more details on what to expect in the future. He was highly knowledgeable about every aspect of the home inspection. He did notice what seem to be mold, but was able to determine otherwise with further inspection. The extra cost for the mold inspection was well worth it, especially having a 11 month old, knowing our home is free and clear of mold and anything else will allow us sleep good at night. I will definitely be recommending Jose to family and friends or anyone I hear looking to purchase a house. read more

We received our home inspection with Jose from Blue Star. He was all business right off the bat and didn't waste any time getting to work. I was there throughout the entirety of the inspection, doing my own checklist, as I felt I needed to inspect and take measurements of things I had written down prior. I stayed out of his way for the most part and let him do his thing. They only have a few hours to check everything they possibly can, so I didn't want to get too much in the way. He was thorough and spent extra time with me going through things I had questions on pertaining to the property. I appreciated his knowledge and thoroughness and for spending that extra time with me at the end. read more

I am a first-time home buyer. Jose stayed an extra thirty minutes to ensure I understood how to turn off the gas, where to look for leaks, and how and when to open and close the chimney flue. He quizzed me on who to call when things go wrong, and what a circuit breaker is and why it may trip. He helped me take measurements and photos of my new home for sofas and a new refrigerator. He took me inside and outside of the house, telling me everything I found and what to look for. He took the time to educate me and to ensure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. He is truly exceptional and I recommend him to everyone, but most especially to first-time home buyers. read more

I am a Realtor, and several of my clients have chosen Blue Star Inspections. With each inspection, my clients and I have been happy with the inspection reports and with our interactions with the inspectors. Both Colleen and Jose go over the noted items carefully with my buyers, and write clear reports so we know what the issues are and can make good choices regarding repair requests. They use advanced equipment to thoroughly inspect crawl spaces, and have discovered water intrusion issues that could have been otherwise undetected. I recommend Blue Star for their consistently good performance. read more

I booked Jose for my home inspection due to his good yelp reviews and I was not disappointed, he explained everything thoroughly and helped us understand some defaults in our new house. Jose also did not get to inspect a part of the house due to the current owners car being in the way, but the next day he went out of his way for us to go check after they moved their car. If your looking for someone who knows what their talking about call Jose for your home inspection. read more
